Location was great, very walkable

The shower is very small, and it leaked onto the floor a bit.

lovely big room, very nice bathroom which was clean and modern. staff really friendly.

we were on the top floor and there is no lift - it wasn’t a problem for us but could be for someone else. (only three floors up)

The location was excellent as a short walk from the main train station and local to lots of bars and restaurants, the market was just around the corner and lots of the sights we were hoping to see were all within easy walking distance

The room was slightly darker than some of the images of the rooms as shown on the website but I imagine this is just luck of the draw as to what one you are allocated upon arrival. Also as the reception isn’t manned 24 hours the front access door could use some adjusting so that it shuts securely behind you as on a few occasions we found it to be open after people having either entered or exited and not pulled it to behind them as was necessary.

Very close to SMN train station so very easy to find and quick arrival and swift departure via train station the reason I chose it was the location. Maria was exceptional. As far as good value hotels in Italy, this was the best I stayed in over 3 months. Well appointed, great bathroom, functional ( which is a plus in Italy), nothing was broken, towels and sheets were lovely and fresh…in other words a normal standard hotel for a reasonable price walk to & from SMN station in the centro! Fab quartiere San Lorenzo, so if the Medici liked it so will you!

Lovely hotel in the middle of the city. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and well decorated. The air conditioning worked very well. And the bathroom was quite nice. I liked that the room had a lot of space. It was split level so you had the upstairs for beds and the downstairs for the bathroom and a desk. So you never felt cramped. The minibar was free and well stocked with a variety of options which I really appreciated. The lobby had a coffee pod machine that made delicious espresso! The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and had great recommendations and information for us. The location was handy as you are around 15 minutes away from the main gallerys and sights. It is just around the corner from the Mercato Centrale. And less than 10 minutes away from the train station. The area felt safe at night time too. I would definitely stay here again.

Not a complaint, but just to flag people with mobility issues this may not be the best place for them since there are stairs in the bedroom to access the beds and there is no elevator in the building to access floors easier. If you are able-bodied the stairs are not an issue at all.

Amazing location, clean room with lovely bathroom. Room was a good size and staff were very friendly. It was such a nice touch having some free items in the mini bar for us and having a fridge to keep our water and other items cool in the heat. Loved our stay!

The bed was quite hard for us and due to the location, it was noisy throughout the night. However, ear plugs were included and the noise was worth it for the great location. The shower also was boiling hot when on the most powerful setting so had to have a weaker shower to make it a manageable heat.

Amazing place! Easy to find: just 10min walk from the railway station. We were welcomed in a super friendly and warm way! Very nice room with comfortable bed and crispy ironed new snow white linen 🤩 The room was really nice, spacious, the bathroom was warm, clean, comfortable. The ancient building has its beautiful charm, and the view to the roofs was so cute 😍 Also we found small details which made our stay just comfortable (obviously, They think about comforting the guests!): water, coffee, small snacks available 24h 👍👍 I would recommend this place to all my friends!

Lovely small hotel near central attractions. Our room had the only little patio, with chairs and a little table, and jasmine vines in bloom. Enough electric outlets and even some USB outlets. Reproductions of Michelangelo pictures over the bed - in general a lovely room.

There was an unexpected unmarked step-down between the bathroom area and the main bedroom area - after almost falling once or twice, we took 2 cans of Coca Cola out of the minibar and posted them there as reminders. Then we were fine. And there are 10 or 12 steps from the street to the reception area, and more if your room isn’t on the first floor ( ours was, luckily). No lift. But the hostess carried our heavier bag up for us so that was a plus. Street is narrow, so taxi can’t stop exactly in front - has to stop about 4 doors down. Not a big problem though.

Very convenient location near the station for an affordable price. Maria at reception was very helpful, communicated via Whatsapp to allow for a very smooth self check in and allowed us to keep our luggage there on the day of check out despite it being after reception hours. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Bonus was complimentary water, soft drinks and snacks!

The room was quite noisy but complimentary ear plugs were provided. Also no elevator, so make sure you are able to carry your suitcase up stairs up to the 3rd floor.

It was a very nice room with all amenities we needed. They were very good with communications. The location was excellent and we walked everywhere to see all of the sites.

The bed was a little stiff but not so bad. The only down side were the showers. They were extremely small to manuver inside and the hot water would run boiling hot, then cold, then to the normal temperature before running out of hot water after 1 1/2 showers. I shower for maximum 10 minutes. These things can be hard to mitigate in old buildings and I recognize that. Everything else was wonderful and thus the great score.
