personnel was friendly and very good location

it can be very loud. no good isolation from the street noises and from other floors/rooms.

The pillow is a little hard

Quaint old property. Excellent location just 4 minutes from the station but in a quiet street . Also within 10 to 20 minutes of all attractions . We walked everywhere, sometimes coming back for a nap in the middle of the day. Loads of restaurants nearby also shopping. The room is large and clean. The beds are just ok. The iron frame is too light and the move with the slightest nudge very annoying. The shower cubicle is tiny and requires quite a manouvre to shower in. The bidet far away from the pot . Again very annoying. Essentially an old property remodeled somewhere along the way. So slightly quirky off things . But nothing that's a deal breaker. I would highly recommend it . The staff is absolutely wonderful. Always greet with a smile. What a pleasure indeed.

Bathrooms are quirky . But just ok

The hotel is wonderfully located, about 5 minutes walk from the main station and 15 minutes walk from the historic old town. We were warmly greeted by the receptionist and given a map of the city showing all the main attractions. The room was large and fully air-conditioned and the bed extremely comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty and the coffee was the best I've tasted!

Only one minor complaint - the noise from the street. I totally understand that this beyond the control of the hotel but if I were to stay here again, I would request a room away from the main street.

Hotel is comfortable, safe and welcoming. It's located very a short walk to the S.M. Train Station. The breakfast costs 7 euros per person and worth it because you have a choice of pastries 🥐, coffee or tea, juice and jam. It's also located centrally to all cultural and scenic attractions by foot. The hotel hosts were gracious and helpful. Our room was simply furnished but as a good, small shower.

A bit noisy so make sure to bring earplugs for sleeping.

excellent location from central station. there is lift to help bring the suitcase up. there is refrigerator in the room as well. staff is helpful :)

the bed was not so comfortable and very tiny shower place. the wall very thin. you can hear your neighbour flushing and if they're running water. there was a leak from the ceilimg in my toilet on the first day i stayed. but it stopped and doesnt really bother me.

It is located very close to Santa Maria Novella Station and easy to find. There was an employee at the front desk, so it was a system to leave the key and go out, but the employee was kind. It was nice to keep my luggage for free and it was nice to have a small refrigerator in thessed the bell and waited, but I have to go up the stairs to the main gate and take the lift

The staff here were very courteous, helpful, and kind. They made me feel welcomed, at home, and safe during my stay. Also the room was spacious and more comfortable than I expected. They cleaned the room everyday, and temperature was also well-kept, so I did not feel cold at all (I stayed here in mid-December). The hotel has a very at-home feeling which you cannot get in other more luxurious hotels. Location is very convenient as it is very near the Santa Maria Novella station, and only 15-20 minutes walk to main tourist attractions and museums. I never had to take public transport while sightseeing as everything was within walking distance. The price is also unbeatable, and it is an excellent value for money. Thank you for making my stay special.

Beautiful stay from start to finish. I stayed here for two main reasons - the convenient location in the city centre as well as to Santa Maria Novella station, and because of the reviews of the wonderful staff. Both did not disappoint. So conveniently located (yet so quiet) that you could get on foot to anywhere, and the staff were just so kind and friendly. A special mention to Vincenzo who was the person to greet me, check me in, and check me out. Such a wonderful, warm and kind person and grateful for his hospitality!

Short walk to the train, metro and buses. The bed was very comfortable, firm but not a board. It was very clean. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The old style elevator was helpful with luggage.

AC was not very quick to cool off but the ceiling fan helped. The shower was just a little to small.
