I really liked the location. It was very convenient. Walking distance to basically everything that we wanted to see including Uffizi, Pitti Palace and Santa Maria Novella etc. Claudia, the host, was very nice and accommodating as well. She lives nearby and is contactable by Whatsapp so for any issue, you can contact her easily. On the final day we wanted to explore Florence a bit longer before taking the train and she provided us a spare key for the gate so we could leave our things inside. Everything was very clean and worked well, the bed is very comfortable, would stay here again if in the area for sure.

The checkout time is 10am which is pretty standard to other places in Italy I have stayed at but I would prefer if this was later of course.

Our hostess Claudia was really warm and welcoming on arrival at Drom Apartments in Florence. Claudia was so helpfull throughout our stay, she was amazing! Antonio cleaned our room each day, as well as making the bed, which by the way, was so, so compfy. The garden apartment held chairs to relax within the pretty courtyard with colourful shrubs. The location was quiet and superbly placed for most of the sight seeing venues. We can not score Drone apartments high enough and we wish Claudio well in the future.

We could not fault our hostess or accommadation during our five night stay in Florence.

Probably the best accomodation you can pick to visit Florence in terms of location. Close to everything (you won't need a car staying here). Host was very kind, helped with tips for our visit and tried her best to make us feel good. TV with netflix and wonderful garden. Good price for value.

Cheap toilet paper, cheap toiletries. Towels are not changed every day, only once every 3-4 days. No breakfast and closest decent cafe shop is 250 meters away. From time to time at night the street can get noisy due to traffic and motorbikes. Check out very early ( 10 AM).

My bedroom was inside on another complex on this beautiful house. Shower and bathroom are fantastic, modern and functional. The property is located at the south of florence, on a 15 minute walk to the river. You can find also several options to eat and drink on the area. You can arrive by bus and walk two blocks. Is a fantastic option, since noise from the streets are minimal, because its a residential zone.

The property has a small gap somewhere that allow mosquitoes go inside your room. The owner provide us devices to get rid of these, it did not solve the issue but it help the situation a lot.

Our host at Drom Florence was exceptional, she spent a lot of time, pointing places to visit on a local city map, and we used these notes as a plan for our weekly stay. every recommendation was spot on, from local restaurants to walks off the beaten track. Being to the South of the river away from the city centre was a god (though not intentional) bonus. We were a 10 minute pleasant walk into the city, which suited us. Our host arranged a Taxi to pick us up on the last morning to take us back to the station (10/15 minute drive) which arrived exactly on time and was a stress free experience.

We loved our stay here; drom b&b crush! We immediately felt at home because of the attentive welcome of owner Claudia and collaborator Anronio. For us the scale was everything; timeless, cute, charming, relaxing, comfortable and personal. We were so relieved with the informal check-in after an early flight. I should mention great bed and mattress and quiet too at night. Also visually a detox after a long day of "Porselane marble gold abundance museums and monument showering". The Renaissance is a lot to take in !. We step outside our room to discover our breakfast ( only 2 tables in the courtyard!) and only a few steps away from Boboli Gardens, lunch at Al Tranvai and or an apperitivo at nearby bar D'Angelo for absence of local vibe. Not to miss!

Lovely B and B tucked into a courtyard near the Boboli Gardens and the Porta Romana in Oltrarno! The courtyard is private and removed from street noise. The room was spacious and well-decorated, with a mix of contemporary and antiques and thoughtful touches like books and an Italian dictionary. There are chairs outside to sit in the courtyard and enjoy the jasmine and birdsong. Great coffee just up the street in front of the Porta Romana at Bar Angulo. Nicer to stay here a little outside the swarm of tourists and tourist establishments across the river. Really a great and comfortable base for visiting Florence!

We never figured out how to open the gate without the electric fob, and we only had one of those, so we had to coordinate our entries and exits. But we didn't have a chance to ask, so maybe there is another way. There isn't a lobby or formal reception so it could be a little harder to leave bags after check-out or if you arrive early.

Claudia was an exceptional hostess. This little guesthouse is a gem. Staying south of the Arno is much more relaxing and quiet. There is a parking garage right down the street or you can park on the street if you get the Easy Park App and park in Blue lines only. Delightful way to stay in Florence. Thank you Claudia.

Everything was great!

Our room was cozy with a comfortable bed. Location is perfect, nearby all attractions but still in a quiet area. Place was clean, with a good wifi connection + communication with owner went smoothly.

The only thing i didn't like is that both room and bathroom had a stale smell that was always there. It's probably caused by humidity and the smell of some old pieces of furniture.

The room was fabulous, fresh, beautifully decorated. Charming courtyard. Modern bathroom with great water pressure. Comfortable mattress. Heating. Room was tidied up daily, which was exceeding expectations for apartments property. The owner was very friendly, attentive and helpful, absolute delight.

Pillows were too hard but I suppose that depends on taste.
