We chose Villa Nardi for our third my trip to Florence. The hotel is a beautiful historic building with its own private art collection and is located only a short walk from the city center. The rooms were spacious and regularly cleaned. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, ensuring that everything was perfect. The food selection was delicious and the hotel had a great well-kept garden, as well as a private parking lot. Everything made for a peaceful and relaxing environment. The surrounding area felt safe and secure. Overall, I would highly recommend Villa Nardi for anyone looking for a luxurious and tranquil experience in Florence. It's conveniently located and offers exceptional service and amenities that will make your stay memorable.

Beautiful property inside and out. very peaceful and a good opportunity at the end of the day to break from the crowds in Florence. staff were very friendly and we loved sitting outside for breakfast, accompanied by the hotels 3 dogs -Rose, Ed and Ugo were a joy! Secure parking and access, paid for minibar in the room. Beautiful views across the city from the top floor bedroom

Although it didn’t bother us, if you book here be prepared for a 30min uphill walk home from the city. we enjoyed the walk but some may not, especially in the heat

Villa Nardi is not a hotel. If you are going to stay here, know that you are actually going to stay in a historical place which since 2009 has been opened to guests for an exclusive experience. You will enjoy the secluded-ness from the city’s hustle and bustle and yet be close to it (30 mins on foot) The staff here including 3 cute doggos were extremely welcoming, caring and polite. You will experience a very royal feeling staying here. There are 7 rooms and they are massive compared to most hotels in the city. The villa also has a huge footprint which means you can enjoy the nature, soak up the sun after a very specific breakfast that caters to you need. Hosts were very sweet and helpful with hotel, attractions recommendations with a few tips as well. They were so kind to even pack us a breakfast box because our scheduled departure was early morning. Truly a memorable and immersive experience ❤️

The best things about staying at Villa Nardi was the staff and the location. And we also loved the three dogs! The ambience and interior design of Villa Nardi is quite unique and just what we were looking for. We ordered the room with the balcony which was a welcome addition to the cosy room and bathroom which looked brand new. If we ever visit Florence again we will definitely stay at Villa Nardi again. :)

If we have to mention something not quite up to the standard, we would have liked a bit more variation in the breakfast.

Driving through the front gates of this old Italian villa was very special and beautiful, the garden's were gorgeous,our room was very spacious and clean with a nicely vintage design. loved it. The reception staff was very kind and helpful, the owner welcomed us nicely and was very helpful with all the information needed to get around, clear and easy with good recommendations. We had a very nice stay, well recommended!

Could improve on the breakfast variety, the staff in the kitchen was a little upset when our order had a mix-up and made it a little uncomfortable. Would be a great addition to add bike rentals, the location is very pretty and would have been nice to ride out through the beautiful colorful streets and more convenient to get to and from the area. - just a suggestion :)))

1. Very beautiful property, even in the winter. The summer would be gorgeous in the gardens. 2. They had 3 little dogs which were fun to have around and not irritating. 3. Did not have to go into ZTLs to get to it but the historical centre was walkable for us. It is on the hillside though so be warned that walking home might be very tiring for some people. 4. Secure parking on the property.

1. soft jazz music was piped throughout the villa all day until about 9:30pm and we could hear it from our room. Very irritating especially as jazz is not our thing. 2. the beautiful breakfast room was cold 3. too much fragrance in the room though we just removed the fragrance sticks and that solved the problem.

Everything was perfect! The way they host the guests is just the great example to everyone who is dealing with private accommodation. From adorable tailor made breakfast according to your wishes prepared fresh every morning, through wonderfull parfumed scences that speads all around villa, extra spacious room, well equiped bathroom, location among luxury villas so quiet and piecefull area till very friendly and commincative host!! We really enjoyed our stay in Florence and for sure will recommend to anyone. Car parking for free on site is advantage for all of everyone who is coming by car and no need to worry about secure parking.. Vila is the heritage of the owners grandpa and for sure will be proud of his grandson how is he keeping the tradition in a modern way. Thank you!

Andrea greeted us when we arrived and made us feel welcome from the first moment. He gave us loads of valuable information and explained the history of the hotel which has been in his family for generations. Nothing was too much trouble for him or any of the staff who were always on hand to help. The breakfast was incredible (best pancakes ever!) and the on-site free parking was excellent (as most other places you have to pay €35 a day to leave the car). The hotel itself was only a short walk from the Ponte Vecchio and Boboli Gardens, which was needed after eating a 1.5kg Fiorentina at the local trattoria.

Everything was perfect, we would love to stay here again and have already told our family to book next time they are in Florence.

It's just perfect. The whole building is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable with a marvelous view. Breakfast is a la carte - and everything we tried was delicious. The human hosts were very friendly and helpful, while the three poodles were keen on making new friends, greeting every new arrival. There are to busses to the city and it's near enough to walk as well. In the vicinity are several restaurants. And if you need some quiet, you can take a walk in the beautiful garden.

This family owned BNB close to Florence is a wonderful retreat from the busy and crowded city full of tourists (August peak season) and perfect for our stay of 2 nights. Starting the day with a breakfast on the garden terrace (8-10 with a variety of choices to be made the day before) was perfect and the walk into Florence nice and not too far - we like to walk in cities though. Coming by car was perfect here and the parking could be extended until the evening of departure, which is super generous. The room was very nice with a view of the garden and the city and had all we needed. There is a tiny elevator, which was great for the luggage. Otherwise we rather took the stairs. The hosts did their best to make us feel welcome and at home and shared a lot of helpful information up front through WhatsApp.
