Villa Cora

Breakfast had a great choice held in the beautiful room.Pool area was very nice.

The classic room is not part of the Main Hotel,This needs to be clear when booking.It’s right beside hotel with excellent furniture,room on the small side.

This hotel made my first visit to Italy so special. What an amazing hotel and first class experience. Great facilities, beautiful exterior and interiors and very helpful staff. Fantastic vegan menu for evening dining and delicious cocktails. The staff do really care about their guests experience while staying at Villa Cora. We had the classic double and it was perfect, lovely size and very comfortable with a view over the park. A complimentary bottle of Prosecco was a nice touch on arrival. Would love to return again.

Minor point. Breakfast was an extra cost and limited for vegan choices and still charged at full price. However at least there were Vegan options which we were grateful for. The breakfast buffet spread in itself was extensive for fellow guests and looked great.

Absolutely love the setting on the terrace for breakfast . The display of the buffet , spread over the lovely rooms, is so glorious, and the wait staff were exceptional. My son and his new bride were delighted to experience Villa Cora, and we were reminded how fabulous the hotel is.

We were in rooms 113 ,and 116 , and I would have liked to be in the main hotel . I felt as though they put Australians in the “ outer “ complex , instead of in the main Villa . So when I come back I want to be in main Villa .

Beautiful place with amazing historical background, the location is so quiet and they offer transportation to the center and back to the hotel for free. The place is amazing & the staff were friendly. The breakfast is good. I had dinner at Le Bistrot restaurant & the food was out standing & it was the best food I had in Italy not only Florence. The dishes were done by the chef Alessandro Liberatore & the deserts were done by the chef Loca Tendino & I was speechless regarding the taste & quality of the food. I love Florence & my stay in Villa Cora made love it more.

Literally everything: - Location is great, close to everything but in a quiet and very green neighbourhood. The view over Florence from the rooftop is beyond - The villa is amazingly renovated not only in the public areas but also inside the rooms and suites which is rare - Despite being historical, everything works perfectly and is super clean - Housekeeping is very attentive with lots of lovely details added during morning and turn down services - Stuff is super friendly, helpful and efficient Overall amazing experience, look forward to coming back here again and again. Bravi!

location was a little bit out of center of Florence

The location is a little further out, but the hotel offers a free shuttle which is very helpful in getting into town. it is a nightmare getting taxis back to the hotel from the town center so great to have this as an option. they could offer a later shuttle which would help guests getting back from dinner etc

That they do not have a bar in the beautiful mirror room. it was raining whilst we stayed at villa cora and they had limited areas for guests to have a drink. we were seated in a tiny bar downstairs. it would have been great to sit in the beautiful mirror room.

Our whole experience with Villa Cora was top notch! The staff was amazing, our room was gorgeous, the property was beautiful, every detail was thought of. Cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay. The food was incredible. The consistent 5 star service from each staff member was what took our stay over the top! Would absolutely stay here again, and will highly recommend Villa Cora to anyone traveling to Florence!

Having stayed at Villa Cora before I surprised my boyfriend with a 3 night stay for his 30th birthday. The hotel is beautiful and speaks for itself and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The house keeping did a tremendous job ensuring our room was always spotless. We also sent some shirts to the laundry and they were returned in an impressive timeframe. We had a surprise cake left in the room on my partners birthday - a lovely touch. As we left the staff kindly loaded our baggage and handed us a bag with sweets and water for our journey. Another thoughtful touch. Your staff are all incredible and a total credit to the beautiful villa. Thank you!

Pool service The pool service is friendly but in places slow. My partner had to continuously get up to find someone for coffees in the morning and cocktails/beers during the day. I think you could do with another staff member here during the day to walk around and ask for drink orders. I’m Evening bistrot Brilliant service and views of the gorgeous pool but the food could be improved. We ended up going back into town all evenings for dinner.

The entire experience from start to finish was spectacular. This is one of the leading hotels in the world and really was special. Our room, which we asked for specifically was stunning, the staff were accommodating and friendly, the pool was lovely and the restaurant was fantastic. Roof terrace's, bars, quiet secluded location and of course the architecture and design - it was all just so special.
