Location was very nice since it’s within the city center. The buffet breakfast is very sumptious with choices from bread, deli, cereals, sausage, egg, bacon, fruits and then some. You can opt to get coffee from the coffee machine or you can ask the server to get a coffee fresh from the espresso machine. There are also several restaurants nearby. Room comes with a mini fridge. The staff are very hospitable and welcoming. Left our luggages when we checked out and they have a room for it.

Quiet central location--quick walkable access to all sights and museums. The closeness to the Central Market Food Hall for meals, snacks and drinks at every time of the day-- from excellent variety of "home"-cooking stalls ,staffed by characterful stall holders--- a really great way to get into local Italian foods and chat with fellow customers. Hotel Breakfasts excellent--good food choices and friendly service for special requests. Rooms decorated beautifully and everything provided-even in fridge! Very clean! Best of all--each of the cheerful ,friendly, organised ,helpful and supportive receptionists!! Hope to stay then again one day!!!

The location was excellent, the staff was friendly and the rooms were great.

The bathtub... I'm only 5'8, and I could barely squeeze into this bathtub it was uncomfortable. Felt like a straight jacket. The caulking was coming out of the walls. The breakfast was pretty in pictures, but in actuality, it was tasteless. The eggs were watery, the bacon was not bacon, and the coffee was un-drinkable. It really was one of the reasons I picked this spot, my wife likes her American Breakfast...I should have known better😒 Maybe they should just stick to Italian breakfast rather than trying to accommodate American breakfast that's just not edible. At least they had a few pastries, missing the graffas, were perfect. 🥰

The hotel is beautiful and just a few blocks (very walkable) from S Maria Novella train Station in Florence, plus only a couple blocks (located between the hotel and train station) to the T2 Tram, which takes you straight to Florence Airport-only 25 minutes with about 10 quick stops. Cost was only 1.70 Euros per person, with tickets easily purchased ahead of time from a machine in front of the tram. Just be sure to validate your ticket on the machine inside the tram when you use them. The hotel is also located within blocks of excellent restaurants, a laundromat, a little grocery store, and shopping area. Breakfast at the hotel (included) was extremely good (scrambled eggs, pastries, cheeses, meats, toast, yogurt, 3 juices, coffee, cappuccino, milk, and other delicious items). The hotel has a small elevator and the building was very quiet.

Big room, but somewhat sterile. Very good breakfast. Very good service and staff that did what they could to make the stay a good one. Silent area, no traffic noise and people having a party until late night hours. Obviously, location is extremely good, nice to be placed just in the center of downtown Florence.

Other "superior rooms" at this hotel had more arts on the walls, or they might have nicely painted flowers and leaves. Obviously, we didn't like to be totally without some degree of view outside our windows. Yet, we appreciate that the hotel building was old. We missed heating of the bathroom floor and a solid rubber mat in the bathtub when taking a shower.

The hotel is perfectly positioned to be in close proximity of the very heart of Florence, but because it’s hidden within little streets, you get no noise disturbance! It was the most amazing holiday and the staff and the hotel could not have been more perfect. The breakfast was exceptional and it really sets you up for the day. The staff were so kind and considerate, giving advice and recommending amazing locations for food. It just didn’t disappoint and if you want to have a magical stay on Florence, book the Art Artelier!

Nothing it was perfect

We had such an exceptional stay here. From the minute we arrived for check-in, we were greeted with incredible service from Mario and the lobby of the hotel was so beautiful. The bathroom in the room is over the top beautiful and the bed was so comfy. Lots of space to unpack luggage, hang/put away clothes and feel at home. The location was so central to the train station (5min walk) and equally central to so many of the nearby sites. The breakfast was delicious with lots of hot options (such a rare find) and the service from the staff there was beyond great; we were offered freshly made cappuccinos or drinks of our choice each morning. We wish we had longer here and thank you all for the hospitality! For the price you get here and the incredible service, we will always recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Florence.

We loved the location as it was very easy to get from the train station. Just an easy 5min walk. Front of desk lady was very helpful and courteous and always had a smile. She asked us about our day every day and gave very helpful tips on where to go. Very quiet street even though it was very close to restaurants and cafes and market. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to stay again.

Free Wifi included. Close to train station and ALL old town tourist attractions. Wonderful exciting city where we should have booked extra nights.

CTV did not have any English channels, not even BBC. Lift was too small.. wheelchair only, luggage separately. Cobblestones outside are not a friend of wheelchair users.
