Perfect location and beautifully presented. You are right near the heart of everything. The complimentary mini bar is a nice touch as is the the device to assist with planning your stay.

Door security didn’t feel very good. They are old wooden double doors that with a strong heave can easily open despite being locked. We had heard of a robbery in a room so this made us a bit uncomfortable.

Excellent experience at this hotel! When booking, I sent a message asking if it was possible to store our bags as we would be arriving earlier than the 2pm check-in time. The response was very quick and assured us we could. When we arrived at noon, we were able to check in as our room was ready! Not only that, we received an upgrade to a larger room! The room was lovely! Very clean, well stocked bathroom, and the mini bar contents are free of charge, stocked with small snacks and various juice, sodas, and water bottles. The location f this hotel was perfect for us as it is right across the street from the tram (T2) that is direct access to the airport. Breakfast was provided and included delicious pastries, eggs, pancake machine, and the usual fruits, cereals, yogurt, juices, coffee, and special order coffees.

The only thing that comes to mind is the bacon at breakfast.

Good spacious room. Bathroom and fittings to very high standard. Great location only 50 Meter to tram and 10 min walk to Duomo/centre. Lots of history in this hotel with photo collections in public hall ways. Staff very helpful.

Power sockets for adapters for charging USB devices non existent and the only way was to use sockets that were controlled by light switches and unplug lights so you could leave overnight powered up. in hotel description lists roof top restaurant but did not say until booked its only open during the summer. Mini bar is free but its an alcohol free bar.

I stayed here the last time I visited Florence in 2019 and loved it. Came back this year and had another great stay. If you're travelling by train this this hotel is a great location from the station, it's also only a 5 minute walk from the Duomo and main shopping area. The staff were polite and helpful with organising anything you needed. The room was very spacious and clean. I would book again the next time I'm in Florence and highly recommend for anyone else visiting Florence.

The location is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping daily and they changed our towels and soaps plus restocked the fridge daily. Always had hot water and good water pressure. The breakfast had a great variety of food to offer. View from dinner room is a bonus! There is a rooftop restaurant but we never tried it out.

Our toilet kept running after every flush. We called and someone was there in less than 5 mins to fix it. We watched what he did and we had to continue after ever flush to do that. The rest of the bathroom was fine. No issues.

Need a handrail near the bath to get in and out of the shower safely Need some gluten free cereal at breakfast No bar or coffee lounge downstairs to greet suppliers and have a light refreshment I do not like the modernisation of the foyer it is not like a grand hotel. The old reception was amazing something like a movie , people come to Florence for history and old things the hotel is now neither one or the other which is a shame...

Each room is unique, beds are very comfortable, shower is great, very clean. Amazing views from the roof top. Taxi drop off is right in front of the hotel, so you don't have to walk with your luggage. Train station is within walking distance

Our room was very unique, it was located right under the roof and our ceiling was slanted, but we had a nice view of the Duomo from our bed. Air-conditioning is limited to 19 degrees C and cannot be adjusted to cooler temp

SUPERB location, walkable from the train station and close to all the sights and some good local restaurants. Breakfast view and spread was fantastic, although seating was quite tight and very noise at breakfast time. The use of the cell phone for maps was a great bonus. Thank you.

Reception staff could've been a bit more helpful/ friendly. Our family room was also a looooong way down what felt like a rabbit warren of hallways and up and down steps. An easier accessible room would've been appreciated with our suitcases.

We arrived by train and it was a very easy walk to the hotel. The hotel's name is very large and easy to find. The architecture and woodwork in the hotel is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay though there were a couple of misses with room service. The breakfast in the restaurant comes with a wonderful view.

We opted for room service breakfast 2 days and neither day what was delivered was what we ordered. It was similar but not really what we ordered. Missing milk for the cold cereal was probably the biggest problem.

The hotel is incredible, the location is magnificent and the views from the restaurant are mesmerizing. I would probably stay here every time I go to Florence. I also really liked the minibar was paid for as it usually is incredibly overpriced and after a long day of walking it was incredibly convenient.

There are two main areas of improvement, on one hand the quality of the breakfast for the spike in price I am not sure is worth it. There are only eggs bacon and bread with cold cuts. My other suggestion is that you under no reason stay in the first floor if possible, every time the people upstairs flushed the toilet or showered II was practically right there with them. Other than this the hotel is really cool.
