Hotel Lombardia

Great location near the train station, made it easy to move from one city to another. Room was beautiful, well appointed, and the shower was actually decent sized.

Staying in these old buildings is part of the charm of traveling to Italy, but it does come with challenges. During our stay there was a plumbing problem with our room only. The manager was prompt to return to the hotel to deal with it, but unfortunately a plumber needed to be called. The hotel manager was very apologetic, and kept us up to date on repairs while we went out and traveled the rest of the city. We got a credit on our bill at the end for the inconvenience. Did I wish we didn’t have any problems? Yes. But the responsiveness of the staff means I would absolutely stay here again.

Both receptionists were very pleasant, proactive in information/assistance and accommodating, too. I do not remember requesting a quiet room but I certainly got one. I loved the shower, unusual design. It was very clean, which is what I mostly look for when booking a hotel room. Breakfast was excellent in terms of quality and options, the coffee superb. Lady very friendly and indeed hard working!

The toilet lid was loose/wonky and I forgot to mention it to the team. It took a while for me to get the shower at the right temperature, wasting a lot of water in the process, which l hate. At times too hot in the room, even though I did try to lower the thermostat; I did follow the minus arrow.

We enjoyed our experience at the Lombardia. We don’t really have any complaints except there was no elevator being senior citizens that was an issue. Our room was on the second floor, so going up and down the steps was difficult for me. The staff was great though they took our luggage up and offered to bring it down, although we left for dinner and didn’t get back in time for them to bring it down but all in all we were satisfied with our stay there, the breakfast was great. I was grateful to see eggs being an American that was some thing I was glad to see this girl servicing. The breakfast was exceptional. Everyone was really great if and when we plan another visit to Florence, this hotel will definitely be on our list especially if you figure out how to get us from downstairs to upstairs or maybe even booked on the first floor would be better. An elevator would’ve been a great asset

The location of this hotel is great. It’s located close to both the main station and the Santa Maria del Fiore. The staff is very friendly and speak English. We could leave our bags at the reception so we were able to start exploring the city before check-in

The room we were in was quite dark and didn’t have a view because the window was positioned quite high above the ground

Our stay was great. The hotel is perfectly positioned. You reach all the tourist attractions very quickly. At the same time, the staff is extremely kind and explains everything you need to know about the tourist attractions as well as the hotel and facilities. Breakfast was quite varied, I didn't feel the need for anything extra. Overall it was an excellent choice!

It's not that I didn't liked it, but it was a little bit uncomfortable the lack of elevator. But as soon as you take your luggage to the room you can enjoy a wonderful trip.

Overall, the experience was great, but i have to point out the readiness of the staff to help me with an unexpected health issue I had to deal with while in Florence, when i asked for a place to have medical treatment, they quickly indicated 2 places, they wrote down the names, gave me a flyer and explained the address. When i needed ice, they didn't have it but told to where to get it quickly and for free. They helped me solve my problem in the best way. Another aspect that deserves to be pointed out is the cleaning, for both days of our stay, the room and bathroom was imaculate and spotless! The breakfast may not be super varied and filled with food, but it has absolutely everything you need for a good and healthy start to the day. Highly recommend this hotel!

Fast Wi-Fi, breakfast had lots of options, the staff were very nice and accommodating, We arrived early and they provided us a room immediately without extra costs, checking process was fast and easy, breakfast was great, I had eggs with zucchini, croissants with cream, coffee, salami and cheese, then fresh orange juice. My hubby had yogurt , fruit, croissants with fresh jelly, boiled eggs, and chocolate muffins, with bottled water and orange juice.we still wanted to explore a bit before heading to the next city and the staff held our bags for several hours, thank you for everything.

The keys the room are physical keys, we left them in the door upon entering and got locked in; however we called the staff with the number they provided and they immediately came and assisted us. Everything else no issues.

My stay at the 25 Hours Hotel was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was struck by the hotel's unique and inviting atmosphere. The staff greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel like a valued guest. The room was a cozy haven, beautifully designed and impeccably clean. I loved the creative touches that gave it a distinct personality. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's fantastic location. It was within walking distance of many attractions, making it easy to explore the city. The breakfast spread was a delight, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit every palate. I can't say enough about the wonderful staff who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They were always ready with a friendly recommendation or assistance with any request. In conclusion, the 25 Hours Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a gem in this city, and I would gladly return for another stay. Highly recommended!

Excellent location. Reception staff (young lady) extremely helpful and accommodating. Communication regarding arrivals was excellent and our room was ready for us. Super comfy beds and Excellent air conditioning. Clean and well presented. Lovely breakfast.

Bit of a climb to third floor with luggage but luckily we only had carry on cases. The lovely style and age of the property doesn't lend itself to a lift- so it's not a complaint from us! Main entrance looks rather disappointing when you first arrive but it's quaint and cosy inside and just as lovely as the pictures show.

Excellent location at the end of Tram 2 from the airport. Only a few minutes walk to the Duomo. I let them know my flight was delayed and I’d arrive after 8pm so they sent me a code to get in the building and left my keys at the desk.

Not a problem for me but you need to let them know if you’ll arrive late. They will email a code to get into the building. Some complain about the lack of an elevator but I’m in my 70s and just took my luggage up slowly one landing at a time. Not a problem. Good to get exercise after many hours sitting in 3 different airplanes.
