Staff were great. Very helpful and kind. Answered questions and booked us a taxi quickly and efficiently. Breakfast at cafe across the street was outstanding. We were greeted warmly and omelet was cooked to order and delivered with a smile. If you see reviews that criticize this place, they are either old or I would question whether or not people actually ate at this delightful cafe. Location close to train station was exactly what we needed after day of travel. Little terrace to watch the street was nice as was the ability to block noise and light by closing windows and drapes. Kettle in room was appreciated and room was good size for the area.

It was pretty perfect for our last night in Italy with a flight in the morning. The area around the train station is busy and not pleasant in places but wonderful sights and restaurants are an easy walk.

Strategic location, only 3 minutes on foot to the train station and about 10-15 minutes away from all the main attractions in Florence. Room size is big compared to other properties in Florence. Bed was also very comfortable. The staff were all friendly and professional. They gave us a small gift to celebrate our honeymoon, thank you!

The downside of staying in strategically located property is that you get noise. The room is on the first floor and we could hear people talking and sound from garbage cars throughout the night. Some of the parts in the bathroom were starting to show age and looked to be almost broken.

elevator is tiny but its still great that its installed as the area is all built before the invention of lifts 😄 so we did multiple trips to take our luggage’s

We travelled as a group of 5, booked in 3 rooms - all of the rooms were a good size (plenty of space for 2 suitcases) and spotlessly clean with good sized bathrooms and an air conditioner. The street noise was surprisingly low, given we were only a 2 minute walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station and is a main thoroughfare for foot traffic. The Reception area was right near the rooms, and the girls were always friendly and very helpful. The Hotel, as with a lot in Italy, share a building with other hotel's rooms, but were clearly marked with signage outside the main door, and is easily accessible by a small lift or stairs. Most of the sites in Florence are easily walkable from the hotel, and the Hop On Hop Off bus stop was next to the station (tho' it took us a while to find it, due to it being at the other end of the station). There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, and the main food market, Mercato Centrale, uniquely has a huge food court on the top floor with loads of different eateries, and is again only a very short walk from the hotel. We ate there most nights because of the variety of food choices. There was everything from pasta, burgers, chinese food, chicken, pizza, pastries, bakeries, kebabs, tapas, vegan and, our favourite, the meat bar - you choose which cut of meat you want, they chop it in front of you, cook it in a big pizza oven and serve it with potatoes..... so tender and delicious. There is even a bar where you can buy drinks and have them delivered to your table. Outside of Mercato Centrale is a street market with loads of the usual things for sale - leather bags, jackets, belts, suitcases, clothes and souvenirs etc. There is also a McDonalds around the corner if you feel so inclined.

Nothing to dislike. Tho' the bed was a bit firm for me, the others had no problem with their beds.

The location is awesome! The train terminal is just a 2 minute walk, so we could afford to just take that from the airport and back with little effort. The room was spacious and a quaint little view from the balcony. Everything was walking distance (though i would bring sensible shoes for things like the Boboli gardens as that's a lot of effort). The staff were very helpful and lovely.

I wish there were breakfast options, but i get that the facilities aren't sufficient for that, and the area has many little cafes. Also, very minor, but the lighting was quite dim and the mirror in the room was tinted which made putting on makeup an olympic sport 😂

The best is custmer service which is highly responsive, very polite and supports any request! Bravo. Second is really central location, walking distance to anything. Very convenient garage manahed by apartament is changing everything. Apartment is decent. Security is on high level. The best hair dryer ever. Nice to have toileteries / coffee/teas.

Isolation is not great we heard a lot of noise from other flats. Shower is unusually small considering size of bathroom and no movable shower head just fixed in the sealing. Air condition is there but at times not strong enough. Chairs missing on terrasse and overall room is a bit dated.

Room lovely, modern & spacious, bed very comfortable. Rain shower with side shower jets, plenty hot water & clean towels. Rooms are cleaned every day but we declined as only there 2 nights, didn't need bed made for us or extra towels. Staff very nice & helpful. Provided a map of City with sights to visit. Allowed us to check in early which was a bonus. Breakfast was in smart cafe across the road with friendly staff, put us on with a choice of coffee & orange juice, then a 3 choice option. We chose omelette & cream croissant. Great location 2 mins walk from station & City Centre on your doorstep, with Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Porte De Vecchio & all other attractions within close proximity. You don't need to walk far to see this vibrant city a lot going on. Lots of interesting narrow streets housing restaurants & cafes galore!

Nothing to do with b&b! as our choice to be so close to train station, so enevitably your in a busy area & street, it's going to be noisy especially at night . We expected it & it was!!

The B&B is very central, just next to the train station and the old town. The room is spacious and has a lovely balcony with view of the typical city buildings and also Santa Maria novella church. The room was very clean, the bed was huge comfortable and the pillows are to die for. The cleaning lady was very kind to get my room ready as soon as I got there ( quiet early morning) and the room smelled lovely and was spotless. Elisa at the reception is extremely kind and helpful,

Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Location was great as we needed something close to the train station and the tram to the airport. We also had a little fridge in our room. Although the building was on a busy street, the room was quiet as it was facing the back garden. We received check in information beforehand via whatsapp with the codes to enter the hotel as we arrived when the reception was already closed. Communication was perfect.

Only thing we didn't like were the mosquitoes we discovered in our room when waking up. As we never had the window open we think they must have been in already. So we woke up with lots of bites all over the body.

Great value. - Practical location in front of the train station. - Cozy room. - Modern and well ventilated bathroom. - Great customer service from the receptionists. - Hot water all day.

- Frigobar is too compact and not efficient. - WiFi could be better, but it worked. - The room was very compact, although we already knew that. It didn't affect us. - The area is not very nice, be careful in the surroundings. But it is very accessible by Train and a 10-minute walk to the city center.
