Starhotels Ritz

My family and I had a really lovely stay at the Star Ritz Hotel. It's a great location and for the price a really good option. It looked clean and classy in the photos and met those expectations. My expectations were also exceeded from the complimentary slippers, bathrobes and water. We were even given umbrellas to use on our stay as it was raining. The bed was comfortable and the room really nice and cosy with the separate sleeping and living-room area. The bathroom was also really nice and clean. I'd definitely recommend the hotel for a family of three, as I went with my mum and my sister. It was spacious, staff were great and an excellent location for sightseeing and also close enough to the station for a quick taxi ride, incase you have an early train to the airport.

I really enjoyed my stay, so don't think there's anything that needs to be improved. The view isn't amazing, it was just of the next door hotel, but I wasn't really paying for that.

we stayed here 2 different nights and had a triple room. 3 adults!!!! my friend had to sleep on the couch both nights! really???? you should have 3 beds in a triple room. I would remove a star from your rating because of that.

beautiful hotel, lovely breakfast and great value for money. really good location too, close to metro stations. Aside from the one mishap during the booking process, everything else was amazing with this hotel, definitely worth the stay!

We nearly paid twice for our stay? Seemingly dodgy link was sent via booking.com asking to authenticate my card prior to the stay. When I did this, my bank contacted me with fraud suspicion due to this link. I had to get a new bank card! In person, they asked for my card details for the same purpose, I paid cash instead and all was okay in the end.

Room was very clean, with a confortable bed and very quiet. Locatian is very good, near the metro station.

We couldn't set higher temperature in the room, and it was a bit cold. They gave us an extra blanket. Lack of parking lot at the hotel and i was guided to a private parking near the hotel with 32€/day.

The best thing about the property is its location, very convenient. The hotel staff was very friendly, the rooms and lobbies were sparkling clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was also great, both in taste and quality. The room service was also great. In short, we had a very pleasant stay and would love to stay there again.

I missed a recreation or play room for kids. I found the elevators relatively small, sometimes fitting 4 people was a struggle. One out of the 3 elevators was out of service for most of our stay. However, the pros weigh much more than the cons.

The location, the staff was friendly and helpful but I would expect it from a 4 star hotel. It was close to a lively street with lots of shops and eating places yet quiet. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Room for improvement: (free) shuttle service from the station (Garibaldi/ Central) would be appreciated, especially for Garibaldi station which is very poor in taxi availability, especially in the evening.

When I checked in (around 9pm) the TV in my room wasn't working (no signal); they did sort out the problem but it would be nice not to have this inconvenience after a long train ride and to make sure everything works before the client arrives, particularly for a late check in.

very clean, welcoming, friendly and helpful front of house staff, twin bedroom was great, beds very comfy (especially pillows) and welcome snacks in the room was an amazing added addition.

Aircon was difficult to use and not great so was hot even in March. Shower screen didn’t work properly no matter what angle you put the shower it left lots of water in the bathroom. Staff in restaurant during our stay were less friendly/ helpful, asked for two cocktails to just be told “it’s a restaurant” by one female member of staff then waited 15 minutes for our two cocktails (there was one other table in the restaurant who were paying their bill). this gentleman did apologise and seemed stressed.

This place was beyond a pleasant surprise. It’s very unassuming outside, but stunning interior. Staff was beyond welcoming and helpful. First we arrived a little early and were surprisingly let into our room. We had a big room w/ 3 beds and couldn’t believe the amount of space we still had. Gorgeous bathroom. Great location. We only had 24hrs and thought we would be taking the metro, but we walked everywhere and loved it. Breakfast was heavenly, so many options! I almost didn’t go because of a bad review, but my goodness you’re in Italy please don’t go expecting hot american scrambled eggs. There were soooo many options, delicious. The next day our flight didn’t leave until the evening - they graciously let us checkout late and then held our backpacks until we came back, then they called us a taxi. Everyone was so nice, the facility was gorgeous, and there was plenty nearby. If I go back to Milan I’ll definitely stay here again - it was a bit of a splurge for us for one night, but it was the last night of our Italy adventure and a great choice. (Stayed w/ 2 kids, they loved it too). Downstairs they have a sitting area, office, etc. Lots of space, and couches in the main entrance area. Just great overall and best place to return after walking for hours and hours :D

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel. Good location , in a nice area, with many shops, close to the subway station if you can't walk the distance of about 2.5 km to the Dom Thank you much to the person at the reception that allowed us to enter the room earlier than the check-in time, which was a great favor and happy for us Very clean room Large bathroom

Although I booked a deluxe double room, with an area of 22 square meters, the room was quite small without having the area in the description; two people can barely pass each other.; access to the wardrobe very difficult due to the space.

The location is excellent, close to the main train station, shops, all major sights and the tourist bus stops. The hotel was clean and tidy. Reception staff were helpful and friendly.

The reception is down two sets of steps. It might be difficult if you have any physical disabilities. At breakfast, there was no one to greet us or explain how it all worked. The room was very noisy, with staff crashing around clearing and stacking dishes. The hot breakfast food was cold, and staff had to be asked to top up food when it ran out. There seemed to be no checking of anything. The bar/restaurant at night had a similar issue. The staff were very noisy stacking dishes, no one checked on us or offered us any other service.
