Hotel Rua Frati 48 in San Francesco

From the moment we walked in, Andrea engaged with us, checking all was ok and even giving me a route to run. His big smile and friendly demeanor was lovely to see. His knowledge of the area and the hotel’s history was incredible . The rooms are beautiful , spacious and well equipped . The shower is seriously the best I’ve ever experienced ! Breakfast was good and most importantly the coffee was excellent ! The only areas that I found lacking were the lack of USB ports to charge devices and the fact that there was no coffee machine or kettle in the room .

spacious rooms, comfortable bed, very good breakfast buffet and most of all fantastic service. perfect location to visit the historic centre, the famous food market and local restaurants.

using the very nice jetted shower resulted in wet bathroom floor - shower door needs better seal. had also read (possibly on the booking.com description?) there was a hot tub in the spa/wellness area but we could only find a sauna/steam room plus small gym; those facilities seemed nice, had just hoped to soak in a hot tub.

The staff was amazing. They greeted us when we arrived, which was a little late in the evening. It was around midnight. Were very friendly and helpful. Andrea if I am spelling his name correct was very helpful and courteous. The entire staff was great. Breakfast was also a very good experience and again great staff helping out. Nothing but good things to say

The breakfast was nice. The quality of the restaurant was not satisfactory.

I would have preferred a decent shower instead of a jacuzzi that didn‘t work properly...

This was the most amazing hotel we have ever stayed in. The beautiful hotel set in such an old building, the reception staff, the concierge, the service in the restaurant and at breakfast were all superb!

Nothing could have been better. It really was absolutely superb.

Breakfast! Excellent selection. Great preserved fruits. Salames, hams, prosciutto, scrambled eggs, chocolate, hazelnut and butter croissants, cake, apple tart, good cheese selection but not all local, and more! Equal to the best anywhere I've stayed. It was just a block away from Osteria Francescano

My friends booked it and $600/night was way above my price range. I can do without gold thread monogrammed towels, slippers, and robes. i prefer low cost rooms so I can spend more on food.

Nice hotel in a great location with wonderful staff.

We paid extra for a suite, and typically that is a living area with a bedroom that you can close the door so one person can rest while the other watches TV or uses a computer, etc. This was just one very big bedroom.

Breakfast was wonderful. Housekeeping was very good. Fabio, Andrea, Altima, and Sara were very helpful. Pillow menu was great.

Not being able to control the temperature of the room.

The hotel was on a quiet street within walking distance of the center of the city. We were able to park right in front of the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and hospitable.

The property is in great shape and is well maintained.

The furnishings in the room were spartan / limited. Though I understand the aesthetic I would expect more.
