Free parking, lots of parking space. Quiet area. Close to the centre (10-15 min walk). Room had a nice balcony. Extensive breakfast choices for bread lovers - lots of sweet and savoury options. Good coffee as well!

Breakfast choices could be wider for fruits and vegetables (the breakfast choice was wide overall, but mostly bread/cakes/sweets, just lacking some fruits/veggies). Could have some chairs for the balcony. The view is over a military base. Very narrow shower.

The staff were helpful enough and tried sorting any minor issues we had. We wanted another chair and one was brought up straight away, they lent us an adaptor to use the kettle (it still didn't work so we gave up). The restaurant was closed at the weekend during July and August for some reason, we ate in there on the Friday and the food was fine, we didn't understand the set up with the vegetables, there is a buffet for the veg' which people seem to eat first and then get the main course? We muddled through. My wife liked the revelli from the army camp.

I agree with other reviews, the hotel is in need of an update. There was a kettle in the room but the plug did not fit the wall outlet. Shower was small.

Great location a short walk from the historic part of Modena. The breakfast was excellent — the selection was much wider than what you would expect from a hotel of this sort (it even included freshly pressed fruit and vegetable juices). There is also free fruit in the lobby — a nice little touch you don’t usually see in hotels like this. The bathroom has not been renovated for a while, but this only has visual implications — not technical ones. The room, on the other hand, looked and felt great, and we appreciated the funky round balcony.

Check in was smooth and very easy. The room was spacious, space for hanging clothes, good air conditioning. Buffet breakfast had juicers for fresh juice, which is a very nice touch. There is a nice variety of food. EU charging ports available.

Some guests may have been smoking in their room because the corridor smelt like smoke. I used the blanket in the cupboard and it was very obvious that it hadn't been washed for a while. The shower compartment is small, but is manageable. The floor dries quickly. The location is not that close to the city centre or the station so may be worth getting a taxi if you have heavy luggage.

We loved everything about this hotel. We booked it as a last minute thing and it's the best hotel we've been to. The room was spacious, there was a fridge, a kettle and tea and coffee making facilities. There was robes as well as lots of towels. We had a balcony as well. There's air con and lifts. The hotel itself is beautiful, the breakfast had lots of choices and seemed fresh (we didn't eat just had a coffee) Central location and there's parking outside.

The only thing I would say is it could so with a couple of chairs on the balcony. There's one chair in the room but there was 2 of us.

Room was clean and bed comfortable. Airco worked fine. Breakfast was surprisingly extensive and good with an unusual selection of dishes. Good value. Staff generally friendly and helpful.

Get the impression the place is slowly being renewed where some parts look good but with some unfinished details. Having to wait 20 minutes until the precise check in time was a little odd as was the baggage storage system which didn't seem so secure.

breakfast room was very large, and the attendant at the breakfast was very courteous, efficient and helpful. The hotel should mark the sloped transition between the main entry hall and breakfast room because many elderly people tripped on the abrupt slope change in the floor. The food was plentiful, with many cakes and sweets, and many choices were available. The fresh squeezed orange juicer, and the veggy juicer are great additions.

Unfortunately, due to the devastating floods in the area during May, we had to cancel 1 day in advance. I asked the hotel whether they'd consider a reimbursement, knowing that it was already too late. They very kindly accepted it immediately. I'm truly grateful for them. I really hope we can finally go next year! Grazie!

Hotel has free parking in front of the building which was very helpful, breakfast was also very good with a lot of choices and variety, hotel is close to the center of Modena so can easily walk for some food or order for in the hotel.

The rooms are not that soundproof so you can hear a lot and also the shower in our room was very weak

For the price we paid it was really good value. The location is very quiet and it seemed most people who stay here has a car. However, it only takes 5-6 minutes to walk to the main plaza from here. The room was clean and a big (non touristy) supermarket is just around the corner. The free breakfast was much better than I expected. I was just about to get a coffee from the machine when the staff came out and asked how I wanted my coffee and later came back from the kitchen with, what I expect, a much better cup of coffee. Other things as jam, cheese and bread was available as well as juice and yogurt.

The area feels very residential and our room was out towards the parking lot, so not much to see from the room. If you looking for a hotel to stay and relax there might be better options but for us who only sleeps there and store our bags it was perfect.
