Hotel Nuovo Rebecchino

On November 6th 2023 we returned to the Nuovo Rebecchino for the 9th time though COVID stopped us making every year in succession (the hotel held our reservation for over a year without any extra charge). The staff team were as welcoming as ever and with my mobility problem at 74 had carefully reserved a room on the first floor near to the lift. Throughout our 6 night stay every member of staff proved again to be caring and many went the extra mile to find me a map or a taxi as needed. The hotel is well furnished and clean and is perfectly located near to the main railway station for Herculaneum and Pompeii (but start from Porta Nolana station and not the main station for a seat), the Nolana city gate, wonderful multicultural street market, bars and restaurants and the east end of the three Storicos (the upper Storico is best to avoid the tourists and see the traditional life of Napoli). Bed and breakfast is excellent value and we feel safe in the care of the staff team and hope to return next year.

Hotel Nuovo Rebecchino is an older, stylish hotel. The room was clean and pretty and carefully decorated. Our room had a view of the inner courtyard, so the street noise was not disturbing. Comfortable beds. The included breakfast is really generous, with bread, ham, cheese, butter, pastry, cereals, milk, coffee and tea, yogurt, compote, juice... The Hotel is located 5 minutes to Napoli Centrale train station with Circumvesuviana level, Metro, Alibus to Airport and many other buses.

I couldn't connect either my phone or my husband's to the WiFi. The safe in the closet was broken.

The hotel is very close to Garibaldi train station and the area does not look very good, but I did not have the feeling of fear for a second. The room I stayed in was very small, modestly equipped, but clean.

Breakfast was very modest. Although there were many people in the restaurant, there were only two small plates, one with cheese and one with ham, with very few products on them, which ended immediately. Automatic coffee far below the expectations of a coffee in Italy.

The location is really great, just opposite the central train station and a terminus subway station. I liked the old style atmosphere of this hotel.

Unfortunately, rooms need some cosmetic update, however it doesn’t really spoil the stay at the hotel. The biggest disappointment was breakfast - quite modest. Also it is possible to hear everything what is happening in the corridor. The wifi connection is ok, but on each floor is different.

Decent hotel, even if it needs a bit of an undated, the beds were very comfy and the breakfast was super good and light( in a good way).

The location is OK for getting to the attractions, but next to a busy street that day and night the traffic was noisy. After the second night we got used to it.

Nice location next to the train station for convenience when you have lots of luggage. There is also a lift for your luggage. Nice staff and room serviced every day. Breakfast was good.

Being next to the station means it can be a bit scary at night, but that’s not the hotels fault. Rooms are dated.

The breakfast was good. The location was perfect. The room...could be better but good enough, you can not expect more (old bathroom). Anyway very recommended.

Excellent location, couple minutes of walk to Metro and Central station. Hotel is old school, but I found it really nice, AC was working all day, so It's nice and chilly when you get in room after long day.

No real complaints, minor complaint would be that shower head is not movable so it can be challenging a little bit since it" small shower

Wow I loved everything about this place! Lovely, very Italian decor giving it great vibes. The rooms was okay in size and the bathroom was massive. Everything was spotless clean. Staff were super helpful - Massimo on the night shift gave me so many tips and advice on travelling and the young man on the day shift was super helpful too and even helped me printing my ticket to Pompeii. About the location - 2 min walk to Centrale and to that other station where Circumvesuviana leaves from and if you go there instead of Centrale you may actually get a sit on your train to Pompeii! It’s about 10/15 min walk to the middle of Centro Storico - ideal for a little walk. My balcony overlooked the courtyard, but I didn’t mind - it was cute and I only came to my room to sleep. Breakfast was basic, but tasty and enough to get you through the day to lunch. All In all great value for money and ideal for a few days city break in Naples. If I was travelling to Naples I’d definitely stay there again! Thank you ciao!

Location was excellent, close to the centre, railway station and airport bus. Breakfast was adequate, enough to start off the day. The room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel and staff friendly. There was no problem checking in when we arrived at 3am due to a delayed flight.
