It was a lovely, big, clean room, with a coffee machine and fridge. It was extremely well located, just a few minutes’ walk from the Leaning Tower. The windows are miraculous. Due to the architecture of the streets, sound carries up very loudly. The windows effectively remove all of the street sound. We are very light sleepers, so this is a big plus. I found the breakfast very generous; several individually wrapped pastries each day, with two pieces of fruit each, a yoghurt each, and a small fruit juice.

Unfortunately the rooms are not soundproof. We easily heard other guests in adjoining rooms, including the people they were talking to on the phone. We contacted the host who spoke to the other guest, which we appreciated, but we felt very bad about calling them at night and for curtailing the behaviour of the other guest. Some soundproofing or sound dampening might help. There was also a party in the pizza shop below the property until 3am on one of the nights we stayed here. The noise of the music was terrible, even through earplugs. I imagine this is an infrequent event as the pizza shop closed by 11pm and didn’t make any noise on the other nights we were here. Perhaps we were unlucky on this occasion. I would advise the host to speak to the pizza shop about this if they are concerned.

Location, cleaning, location is near the center and with fast access to all.the wanted places.

The fact that you don't have a dedicated place where to hang out your towels. There is no opened reception.and people can do.what they want inclusive a lot of noise. The owner should put informative messages (even on the main table) with the hope that people with the abilities of disturibing the others will not do it. The location is in the center of a market and at the ground floor there is a pizza and can be a littile bit of noise.

The professional, helpful and polite approach of the management. The tuscan style of the B&B was wonderful. Cleaness totally met our expectations (which are high).

The bars in the surrounding streets are really loud at the weekends which is not the B&Bs fault at all. They actually did everything to keep the noise out (soundproof windows) but it was still bothering to us. But frankly, we are not the most tolerant with this topic, especially because we travelled with a small child. Earplugs can be a solution though. I have been offered a more silent room actually so the management really tried to find a solution. I feel with those people who live in the area 😔. But because the B&B totally met our other expectations in many other ways, I would choose it again.

Extremely clean and pretty hotel. Staff tries hard to be helpful and the hotel is located at a nice plaza with lots of restaurants

A normal bed or mattress could not be provided for my 3 year old. A crib was instead installed. As he is not longer a baby, we took out the crib mattress and he slept on the floor. No problem there except next morning I was tiying my shoes and noticed our two single beds had a pull out mattress beneath, each. The staff had no clue as they never proposed that as an option. Not a bad experience but it kind of makes them look bad

location is superb, short walk to piazza dei miracoli. we arrived by train, and the walk was 25 min tops. Pisa turned out to be the city that never sleeps - in the morning there was a vegetable market right under our window, then fruit market from about midday (I didn’t see another fruit market in the city centre), and then the restaurants and pubs set their tables outside, till past midnight. we loved it, but maybe not the best place for those who expect to retire to bed @9pm and have a quiet time 🙂 the room is clean, bathroom with jacuzzi, toiletries replenished during the stay. we were not so keen on the breakfast provided, although the items in the kitchenette and fridge were plentiful. seamless check in and check out. we actually never saw a single member of staff, although bed was made when we would step out for late breakfast

we arrived quite late and the place was hopping. a really lively fun part of pisa. lots of bars, pizzerias and ice cream shops around and open late. had to walk down an alley way to get to b&b but it was well lit and good atmosphere. very easy to check in. scan a qr code and input a pin and door opened. room was clean, bathroom is stunning, there was air conditioning and a juliet balcony overlooking the quint Square and cocktail bar below. really loved the b&b and great communication from the owner. easy check in and check out. highly recommend 👌

The hotel is beautifully designed with marble bathrooms and refined interiors housed in a historical building. It is located right in the heart of Pisa, walking distance from the major tourist attractions. The check in was smart and easy. The owner is very helpful with tips and various recommendations.

Breakfast should be improved, it was dry and tasteless. May be vouchers to a near by café would be a better option than the in-room pre-packed items.

We stayed there for five nights. Great location, right in the historic centre of Pisa. Practically within walking distance of everything, including the train station for day trips to other cities (Firenze, Livorno, Lucca,...). Nice and clean room. Very friendly and helpful staff. They made sure everything at Relais Dei Mercanti went smoothly for us. They also gave us a great list of restaurant recommendations (we especially liked the Trattoria Sant'Omobono). In summary, we had a great stay at Relais Dei Mercanti.

Room was comfortable and in the downtown, although lacks the natural light (due to narrow streets). Wifi is adequate. Beds are comfortable. The room looks quite elegant.

Breakfast needs to be inproved: it's only some packaded snacks provided, no fresh food. Water-flow pressure in the shower is low. We arrived by car but I would not recommend this due to narrow streets (only for experianced drivers). Railway station is approx 10-15min walk.

Beautifully furnished room with facilities to have breakfast available. Comfortable and very central to visit the sights of Pisa. There were tea and coffee making facilities in lounge and storage for baggage should you need it for leaving after checkout. Easy access to building and good communication with entry details on arrival.

One room faced onto small square which had chatter until 4 am.
