Hotel Flavia

We stayed in Hotel Flavia for 5 nights. Hotel is on great location and very well connected with Ciampino airport. 5 minutes walking from Piazza Della Repubblica where is the metro station, but we walked everywhere. Hotel is 10 min walk from Piazza Venezia and 15 min walk from Trevi Fontain and Pantheon. Staff is very polite, welcoming and supportive with decent level of English. Reception is open 24/7 and the area around hotel feels very safe, as there are some government institutions around. There are also cameras on every floor in the hotel. Around hotel there are some pizzerias and bars. There is also very nice restaurant just next door to the hotel. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis, including towels change and in general they are really taking good care of hygiene. Breakfast was decent for Italian standards, considering Italians are not really famous for heavy breakfast. But, as any mid-level hotel, the breakfast is almost the same every day. However, that was good enough for us to start the day, as we anyhow had plenty of pizzas, pastas and gelatos during our stay :-)

Except of same breakfast every day, there is nothing else we consider as a lowlight. We really had a great stay in hotel Flavia.

Very nice location 10' walk from the metro station Republica and 15' away from the terminal station of Rome. The room was nice and clean. The changing colour lighting inside the bathroom was a nice experience. The breakfast was a large buffet. It included not only sweets such as cake and croissants but also eggs and bacon, cereal, yoghurt, french toast bread, salami and ham, cheese and milk + juice. I would definitely visit this hotel again for my next trip to Rome.

The wifi signal was a bit too weak inside the room and the dining area.

Comfortable room, very clean and big enough for 2 people. Location is great, we walked pretty much everywhere and republica station is less than 5 min walk. two very good restaurants nearby. Good continental breakfast with lots of options and great coffee. The hotel has a partnership with a tourist agency and it was a life safer cause I couldn’t book tickets/tour to the colosseum anywhere

Bide and sink plugs broken. Noisy toilet flush Staff English is not great and can create miscommunication, I booked a airport transfer service and the day before confirmed the time and if I could pay with card which I was told yes, they then booked it for 15min later and I couldn’t pay with card and had to pay fees for withdrawing money at the airport.

The room was super clean and tidy and the towels were changed every day (we stayed 5days)! The breakfast was great with many choices, really good quality of food and friendly staff.

The location was ok but if I were to choose again, I would prefer to stay near Travestere or P.Navona; we needed transportation to all destinations. The room was a bit tight for three people and the elevator was quite small. Last, because there is a restaurant on the ground floor, a smell of cooked food remains throughout the day in the room if you leave the window open; it didn’t discomfort us but I mention it here for anyone with an intolerant nose.

The hotel is located near the central railway station and has good transport connection with all historical places of Rome. My room was good, with big comfortable bed. The window looked out onto the courtyard. During the night I could sleep with open window. There are also two restaurants near the hotel entrance and a little shop with fruits and vegetables.

I just have one small comment. Late in the evening - after 23.00, when two restaurants on the ground floor were closed, it was a little noisy from the sound of dishes. They were washed in the kitchen. But it was not so big problem.

The hotel is located near the main station Termini, and close to all essential sights. The bus station is also near (150 m) if you want to go to more distant destinations. Tee and coffee are available in the room. Breakfast was fine enough.

There is no room for luggage if you come earlier or go from the hotel later than check-in/check-out. The luggage is put beside reception in one corner.

Very good breakfast with variety of patisserie to choose from, without fresh fruits or vegetables but that's normal for Italy. All the safety measures were introduced in the breakfast area and whole hotel. The area in which hotel is located is quite and safe yet in walking distance to all of the famous landmarks. The staff was very nice also :) Also important:Clean and renovated bathroom!

My room was right next to the elevator which needs to be oiled ;) so everytime someone would use the elevator at night to get to any floor I would wake up. Other than that, no cons.

Breakfast was very good. The staff is professional. Room was very clean. Housekeeper made sure to put the plush toy on different location every day which made my like child very happy. She was looking forward coming back to the room every night to see in what position is the toy.

The bed is very hard. The pillows are very hard. The first 3 nights I slept maybe an hour. The rest of the nights I slept on my jacket. Please put mattresses topper on the bed and please invest in some better pillows.

First of all, the location was ideal. Near the center, near on very good restaurants for pasta and pizza in affordable prices. Near on bus that lead everywhere on rome. The staff was extremely polite and helpfull. The breakfast was very good for the price per night. The hotel was in its entirety clean and especially the room. Everyday new sheets.

There wasnt any body soap or conditioner. Also as we noticed the toilet is like a room cut in half so it isnt soundproof. We noticed echo for footsteps from the next room because of that and it was kinda spooky like someone was walking on the same room as ours( so loud footsteps)

Great location, staff were nice and friendly the hotel is quite and the room was clean. Shower and bathroom were small but very clean. Rooms are small but if all you’re looking for is a place to sleep and shower in Rome this is the place to be. Me and my friend enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Not a problem for us but worth mentioning that in our room bathroom was not separated by a wall or a door but a curtain. It still allows you to have privacy and the lay out is clever.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Not a lot of choices.
