Pros - extraclean room for our whole stay - amazing staff - hot water - close to the bus stop (70 and 23) and a 10 min walk from metro (Ottaviano) - comfortable bed - fridge in the room - close to Vatican city I would totally recommend the hotel for the price, location and staff.

Contra - same breakfast every day, with a very small selection of food - room is small, but the bed is very big, so this why you have little space to move - water pressure is low

The Hotel offer great value for money (at least comparing the prices on booking.com at the time of reservation). The staff is very nice and welcoming. It's close to Vatican City and relatively well connected to other tourist attractions. You can find a lot of good restaurants in the area. We went for the hotel breakfast: not a lot of options but very convenient and fairly priced. The room was clean and they changed the towels daily.

We booked a 3 person room and the third bed was too close to the floor. That small bad was pretty bad for sleeping, but the big bed was really comfortable. The room could use a coat hanger (minor detail).

The staff is nice, the hotel is clean and cute. The bedroom is big and comfortable, extremely clean. The breakfast is good. It's close to the metro (750m) Otaviano station. There are two good tradicional restaurants nearby ( Antico Falcone e Al Giardino del Gatto e la Volpe). It's close to Vatican city, the place felt safe. It's not that close from other touristical points, but you can go easily by metro. Good bed, good shower. I totally would come back. Flexibility on the check out, what is important. From fiumicino airport you take the train to termini station, then the metro to Otaviano (line A).

good location, just about 10 minutes walk to the vatican and with easy access to shops and various restaurants along the way…the family room we had was spacious, comfortable, with a big modern bathroom and access to a private garden balcony…breakfast was simple but sufficient to start the day, and coffee is good…the place is also clean…the best part is the staff, all nice, welcoming, helpful and provides information needed…and of course the price is quite reasonable considering the location and amenities :)

there was just some slight smell from the general water sewage system which needs to be checked — it‘s not always bad but it‘s typical i suppose for older italian buildings…and maybe also due to the garden balcony, there are a few mosquitoes (i suppose this is only in the summer) which the staff informed us early on — and it wasn‘t too many so it did not really bother us.

I am happy with my stay in this hotel: I had a single room, with a view on a “garden”. It was equipped with what was necessary for me for several days (small kettle, fridge, soap in bathroom etc…), a small desk area. The bed was comfortable. The room is well cleaned every day and the staff is very lovely. I have slept very well: the area is quiet & I do always sleep with ear plug even at home but it does not always cancel all noise. Breakfast wise: cheese, bread, tomatoes, fresh fruits, ham etc.. don’t know about the savory. They accommodated soya milk for me which was nice. You can have breakfast outside. I would probably choose this hotel again as it is well located (10 mns from metro), easy to walk to Saint Peters. The area is vibrant (yet not too crasy), with restaurants, bars, small shops to buy what you need.

The shower might be a bit small & the internet connection was not always working efficiently.

Very comfortable family room with all you need for stay for 3-4 days. We liked that the room was cleaned every day, the towels were changed every day. The only thing maybe was the strange smell when we arrived, too much of deodorant, maybe people who are allergic (like me, for instance) can't stand on this aggressive smell, better just to have a fresh air from the street or to use smth bio to refresh the smell in room. As I had an allergic reaction on this chemical deodorant. The breakfast was ok, taking into account that usually Italian breakfast include only the sweets and coffee. Here we had some cheese, sausages and eggs besides very tasty croissants and coffee. The staff was very polite! Even though that the hotel building is not the new, the interior was rather interesting styled- in a musical manner, it was exciting, especially if you like the music. The radio was installed and heard in the bathroom like at a disco with a disco ball- really nice idea! The kids were happy. Some bottles of water in the fridge were as a pleasant bonus too! Especially when it is hot outside. The coffee and tea were available in the room as well.

Just the smell in the room when we arrived. Maybe this is because our room was on the first floor and the hotel staff decided to eliminate the smell of dampness with a help of some deodorant. Better to use smth more biological, not chemical or just the fresh air from outside.

Lovely and comfortable stay. Well within budget. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast procured from local producers. Location wise: around 35 mins drive from Rome Ciampino airport, around 10-15 mins walk from the Vatican museum, and around 8-10 minutes walk to the Ottaviano Metro station.

The jacuzzi control was a bit of a tricky one. The toilet flush was a tricky one too... It wouldn't fully flush immediately. Had to press the button rapidly at least twice for the flush to work

Room was very nice and spacious, clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was really nice with a great sound system as well. Breakfast was simple but both sweet and savoury, hard boiled eggs, cheese and ham/salami from local produce. The service overall was great, everyone was really nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend if you want to be within a walking distance from Vatican. To the city center it's about 30-45 mins walk based on the exact location but doable as well and you can see a lot of historic places and monuments on the way. There is also a bus stop 2 mins from the hotel which takes you directly to Trastevere.

Our stay at Hotel Franklin Feel The Sound was really great! The staff was really nice and hospitable with us. The room was exactly as in the pictures, inspired by music and really neat. The towels were changed every day and we were asked everyday if there is anything we would need or want. The breakfast was really good and affordable. We highly recommend to everyone to consider booking a room at this hotel.

There was nothing that we disliked about our stay at Hotel Franklin Feel The Sound.

Staff very available, helpful and polite. Nice clean facility. Location was close to Foro Italia which is where I spent all my time and able to just walk there in 20-25 mins. I don't know how close to anything else. Room was nice very clean and modern. Mini fridge and coffee pot in room. Sitting area off of room double doors outside for morning coffee pretty nice.

Room was just a bit smaller than I prefer even if traveling alone.
