New Design St.Peter0

Great location. Close to many restaurants and to St.Peter’s basilica among other tourist places to visit. The area is easy to navigate to other places since the metro is a few meters from the guest house. Also the hosts are exceptionally nice and help you in anyway they could… even especially when you have questions about where to go and eat, what to visit etc. do not hesitate to ask them for anything. I really enjoyed my stay. I wish we could stay longer but the place was fully booked.

This didn’t bother us, however there is some construction 🚧 in the area. You will not hear any noise as the windows are sound proof.

A Hidden Gem in Rome located within easy walking distance of the Vatican. The wonderful sister duo of Valeria & Stefania are extremely helpful and went out of there way to make this a very enjoyable experience and stay. Place is immaculate, in a quiet neighborhood also close to a Metro station for easy access to all the sights of Rome. Lot's of great restaurants within a few blocks. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to stay in Roma.

Half-glass shower door is a poor design. No washcloths in bathroom but were supplied when requested.

Everything is excellent. Located close to the metro and Vatican. Not far from other tourist attractions. We usually used to walk a bit more than 1 km to Tiber river; relaxing around bridges; then choose different destinations like "Piazza del Popolo"; walking "Via del Corso" where we visited churches having interesting mosaics, paintings and sculptures. By walking we're also able to enjoy the views (and water) of little fountains (e.g. Fountain of the Books). The room is very nice and clean. The staff excels at everything. Since near the location, are a lot of different food places and restaurants, it's better to follow the staff advice to pick the best ones at a decent/discounted price. It's also 5 minutes walking from Mercato Trionfale where you can find a large variety of local food and stuff.

A very nice and calm guest house close to the historical city center and in the neighbourhood of Vatican. The self check-in was easy, the staff was very friendly and helpful and gave all the informations that we need. They gave a huge list of recommendations of local restaurants, all of them that we had tried was excellent. There is an incredibly good cafe and pastry shop next to the building, every breakfast was a beautiful day starting there. If I will go back to Rome I would book in New Design St. Peter again.

The sisters who own and run the guest house are AWESOME!! They answered emails quickly, speak English very well and greeted us so joyfully when they saw us. They set up our Uber rides & helpful phone apps to use during the visit, gave great instructions how to get to locations, helped with ticketing events. Large room with special touches like mood lighting in the bathrooms, stocked mini fridge, coffee and tea in the room but most importantly a comfy bed. Lots of space to put clothes and items, lock box in room, plenty of outlets, coded entries so key is not needed, beautiful courtyard to entry, immaculate, 5 min. from Vatican Museum, 10 min from St. Peter's Basilica. Our room was personalized with a welcoming note with our name on it upon arrival along with delicious chocolates. The decor is modern with Romanesque touches. Free breakfast is either delivered to your room or you offered a delicious sweet or savory meal at the bistro 2 doors down from the hotel. The rooms are cleaned daily and have a wonderful scent when you return. Rooms are in a quiet and safe location in an apartment complex. Metro is located 3 blocks away along with a variety of places to eat. Too many good things to list them all here. All the staff is AMAZING!

That we couldn't stay longer than our 8-day visit.

It was clean, cozy, close to the vatican and about 30 min (by foot) to the city center. We loved their soap and shampoo plus the morning coffee. The shower was wonderful. There was also a smart tv in the room which was great because you could stream from prime, netflix and so on.

The elevator was small and annoying. It was a bit far from the city center but if you want to be close to the vatican then that’s more a benefit than a downside of the location.

We like a special arrangement for a private car upon our arrival and for our departure. The property's location is very convenient, the room is very clean and bright, and very functional with lots of counter top space in spite of relatively small floor area. The bathroom is spacious with a wash basin and heating drying rack. Stefania is very helpful to give us suggestions with our planned visit to different places around the city and her staff are very nice and polite. We are definitely impressed with New Design St. Peter hotel/guest house.

I couldn't recommend more highly these guest rooms. From beginning to end there was perfect, concise and clear information from the onset which makes you feel at ease immediately. It offers an easy no contact check in and out process which works perfectly. On top of this Valeria, the owner, has been nothing short of amazing. She has assisted with travel plans, pre-booking private taxis, restaurant recommendations and she even tried to call our tour company who let us down one day. Nothing related to New Design just so you are aware! Overall, when I return, I look forward to staying with New Design St. Peter again. Book with full confidence. Julian Miotti.

Hosts were clearly focused on making the stay as perfect as can be (before, during, and after). They even brought a cake to the room on the day one of us had a birthday (including candle and lighter), with plates and cutlery for all that were staying there !!! :-)))). They were also very flexible regarding checkin and checkout, and arranged transportation to airport following the stay. The ambiance and architecture of the rooms are even nicer than on pictures posted (very modern, but befitting a classic building, with a very nicely kept enclosed "Hof"/garden that separates it nicely from the activities of the street). The location is ideal for exploring Rome, as both bus and subway are within minutes of walking distance, and even the Vatican itself is a short walk away.

The only thing we did not like, was that we could not stay longer :-(

Very modern design, very clean and comfortable. The location is also wonderful, with loads of restaurants and cafes all around the block and only 10 mins away from Vatican. I recommend the cafe in the corner of the building as well as Caligola Restaurant. Also, i must mention the hosts who were so wonderful!! Both Stefania and Valeria offered us a looot of recommandations for our stay which were very helpful. Would love to come back soon!
