Hotel Gloria

it’s a simple but clean familiar hotel, almost in front of Termini station. The staff is friendly and helpful, they even allowed me to check in before as the room was empty and I arrived very early and tired, it was very kind.

the bed could be a little bit more comfortable and an air conditioner would be nice.

Great staff! They were very friendly and welcoming. After our checkout, they allowed us to store our luggage for a few more hours. Very good location; 3 minutes to the train station, 15-20 minutes walking distance to the Colosseum. Despite facing a fairly busy street, our room was very quiet. A fan was also provided.

One of the two plugs seemed a bit worse for wear. The main door can only be accessed by buzzing reception, which made us feel sorry for the staff who had to stay available in the late hours.

I had a nice time staying at the Hotel Gloria. The owners were very accomodating and hospitable, you will feel like you are staying as a guest in their home. Highly recommended and will definitely come back. Location: Just 3 mins away from Termini, the location is unbeatable. With Rome's public transport, it is always a good idea to have the Termini as base as you are in the centre of everything. Termini has a reputation of being shady at night, however, due to the hotel's close proximity - literally across the street - there are police patrolling everywhere. I have left early morning and also late at night and I felt safe. Ambiance: It is like a homestay. It is as though you are staying with a local family. The hotel might be dated, but it adds to the charm of the place. Cleanliness and facilities: Even though it is a small homestay, I was surprised by the cleanliness and the room. Basic accomodations, but in a city like Rome where you spend most of your time outdoors, this is exactly what you need. The beds are confortable, there are blankets and a duvet plus they have extra pillows. Though the restroom is shared, I never had issues of it being occupied by other tenants. They room is also cleaned everyday. Grazie Mille for the wonderful stay.

The room was very clean, we were provided clean towels. The shared bathroom was clean and completed with a shower with hot running water. Definitely recommend opening the windows for fresh air and a beautiful view of the area. The hotel was central and reasonably close to everything. Only a 200m walk to the train station. We ate ate a lovely restaurant which was only a 2 min walk from Gloria’s. Luca and Anita were very hospitable and friendly. The hotel signage was very small and a bit hard to locate. The key to the room was also fiddly but we eventually discovered the trick. Overall, our stay was pleasant.

Location is awesome, you can walk 5 minutes from the Roma Termini station. Also all the buses passes very near to go to anywhere in the city of Rome. Hosts were very nice to us, they don't speak english or spanish, but they were trying for us in between italian and spanish and it was all good. We could leave our lugagge for some hours after our checkout with no problem at all. We would come back.

Hotel is very old but it had all that is necessary for a good stay.

The location was fantastic, just a minute or two walk from Termini Station, where it was very easy to get the metro (even with three kids) to Vatican City, Trevi Fountain and Colosseum. Trevi Fountain and Colosseum are also walkable. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. This is a basic hotel, but we thought it was very good value for money.

It’s a basic hotel but that is exactly what we paid for. Small things like broken shower nozzle, no bath mats so sometimes the shared bathroom floor was wet. We couldn’t get an extra bed for our third child so needed to top n tail. None of these were a major problem for us.

I stayed here a few months ago in May. The property is nice, small and really cosy. The rooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily as well. Good area, don’t believe the bad rep the area gets I had zero issues. The staff were amazing, always happy to have a conversation with you which is always nice when you travel alone.

- Key was a little hard to use at first, but it didn’t take us long to figure it out

The staff were so kind and helpful! they help us with every single thing that we asked for. Helping us with maps of the best touristic attractions, to find a wash machine close to the hotel when we needed one, even telling us where was the closest farmacy to do a covid test because we needed one to get to our next destination. We didn't have time to say goodbye and thanking them. But they were amazing. And beside all of that the location is so close to Roma Termini.

the person at the desk was very nice he gave me the room early the room is big and its basic but very comfrtubal it was clean and it was very quiet ( even that out side it was very noiesy) the wifi was working great

There is lack of light in the room the lamp didn't work and the fan didn't work There was screaming at night something about someone who probbly show up with anther person i don't know what was all the disturbance about .but it was loud.
