Hotel Contilia

Hotel Contilia did not disappoint. Our room provided both space and privacy for three adults, and value for the money is spot on. The breakfast was plentiful, the staff helpful and the location was super convenient to the central attractions and the train station, with plenty of good restaurants around. If you're looking for a budget-friendly old-charm hotel you can't go wrong with this choice.

No complaints

The hotel is very clean and the room very comfortable. The breakfast is simply and nice. The location is excellent,with many hotels and restaurants around so you feel very safe at night even though you are in the city center. Colosseum and all this attractions are 15-20 minutes walking. The stuff also very friendly and helpful.! We will definitely choose to the same hotel next time. Highly recommended!

1. The room was not very warm even though the heat was high. 2. They provided us with 2 bottle of water at the room and in check out they wanted to charge us 6 euros, but in the end they didn't, because they didn't informe us in check in that there are extra fees for the water.

To get to platform 24 to catch the airport train is only a 7 minutes walk from the hotel. Great location close to the station but very quiet at night. The room and shower are fine for a few nights - coffee and croissants for breakfast was very good. The restaurant is owned by a very nice and friendly family - this is our second stay in the hotel and we will be back when we visit Rome again - the great location near the station and the sights in Rome makes this a good choice.

The hotel was lovely, clean, loved the decor that made it feel like I was in an italian hotel. Great location only 35 to 40 mins max to most locations, others a little nearer. Breakfast was good and the staff very nice. I would stay again.

The terrace outside our room would have been a lovely place to sit with a bit of TLC. A lick of paint, few flower pots and seating. As it was, it wasnt really a usable space although it was nice to go outside for fresh air. The towels did the job, but were very thin. Some thicker towels would be better. Would have been nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room, as you could only get this,at breakfast time .

The staff proved extremely patient, flexible and helpful. My window faced a courtyard that was quiet. My room had a large enough, CLEAN bathroom. The breakfast room was large enough and the area very well attended.

The Termini neighborhood seems a bit dicey because of transient and street people. However, there are people everywhere at all hours so it feels very safe, to me. The hotel is in a busy area, with all of the pluses and minuses of such a location.

Location is very good as it it is near Termini (central train station) and within 10 min walking you can go to the Spanish steps and then go for shopping. 7 min walking to Colosseum and other historical monuments. The cleanness of the Hotel is excellent as well as the room but I expect a little bigger room but it was OK. Breakfast for a 3 star hotel is good and acceptable. Hotel staff are very kind and helpful and I would like to add my thanks to Mrs. Dorwin for her kind cooperation and guidance.

Check out time could be later. But for me was OK.

It felt very safe and everything was clean. it wasn’t the fanciest hotel I’ve ever seen, but it did the job. the breakfast was good.

It is a great location for someone who has to go to the train station, but it was a little far from the tourist attractions. We did walk to the Trevi Fountain, Roman Forum, and Vatican, but it wasn’t a short walk.

Great location. Convenient to Termini and within walking distance of many sites. The room was nice, quiet, felt cozy and had good furnishings, including a refrigerator and TV. The clean, modern bathroom was small but had great hot water and water pressure. Breakfast was typical and plentiful with sweet and savory options, fresh fruit and self serve coffee and tea machines. Very nice and friendly staff.

The bed was extremely firm to the point of being hard. It almost felt like sleeping on a board rather than a bed. I much prefer a softer mattress. It was also two small beds pushed together rather than one large one. Not the best feature.

The reception and staff were always available and ready to provide the best service. There are always hot water and cleanness in rooms. Sufficient breakfast with good coffee. And of course, the location is great since you're in 5 min. walk from the central station and underground.

The room was smaller than it was supposed to be according to the pictures. So the distance between beds was also small.

The staff was amazing, my partner lost the room key on the very first day, at first they wasn’t too happy but they didn’t charge us for losing the key and would just joke about me holding onto the key so she don’t lose it again, overall great staff.

The room size was very small, it was the smallest room on the floor we was on, csnt really complain about this as we didn’t reserve any specific room, other than that it was great as we didn’t really spend any time in our room apart from night time.
