The hotel is so close to Termini station, it is just a very short walk which is great if you are carrying luggage. It is also very close to the bus stops to go directly to the airports. As with most big cities the area around the station may not be the best, but so long as you are aware of this it's not a problem. I chose this hotel after reading reviews for hotels that were more costly in this area and found that the reviews for this hotel were better than a lot of the more expensive hotels. This is a 2 * hotel and is a little tired, but the rooms are all clean. There is Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The breakfast was good, with Cereal, toast, cheese, yogurt, fruit and hot drinks. It was very easy to get to the metro from the hotel and to visit all of the amazing sites that Rome has to offer. The staff were really nice.

Defenitely the best hotel in this neighbourhood I have ever stayed in (and I stayed in many here). Location is great - few steps from termini station, metro, short walk to main attractions. Equipment in the room is rather basic, but the room is specious and comfortable. Stuff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast - typical italian, but the products were very good so you can start your day nicely.

Everything was ok, for this price and in this location - one of the best options!

Close to Termini station so easy to get around the city and to and from the airport; plenty of restaurants close by; within walking distance of historical centre of Rome. We were able to check in early as the room was ready and we could leave our bags in the hotel on the last day while we explored more. The air conditioning in the room was quiet and coped with the temperature very well. There are lots of similar hotels in the same area but I would have no hesitation in staying at the Capitol again.

There was some street noise despite the double-glazed windows, including a car alarm that went on for about an hour, but that wasn't the hotel's fault. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear-plugs. The breakfast was self-service and was adequate but not outstanding.

Hoteil is nice, very friendly staff always ready to help, Very close to Termini Railway Station and bus station, Even Hotel is in busy area, there is very quiet, nice comfortalbe room with airconditions big plus.

Breakfast is not continental, a lots of very nice cookies everyday, jams, flakes, thats is ok if someone likes sweet breakfast, not too much fresh fruits!! but if you dont like sweet breakfast you should better go outside because in Hotel you can chose only slices of cheese, ham, salami with not too fresh bread unfortunately. Coffee was lovely

Very good location, minutes of walk from metro and central railway. The hotel manager was very kind to accommodate the special requests ( quiet room and early check in). Good customer service with an exception (see other comments)

The room didn't have towels. When I reported this to reception, was told that it is impossible, and that I should go up to my room, check again and come back to reception to ask for toweles if indeed there were none (!). I instead suggested that they give me now extra towels so as I don't need to go to the 5th floor back and forth after a tiresome day. Was given only one towel (no bathmat, no hand towel). And yes, there were no towels in the room when I check in. Room was dated : the floor in front of the bathroom door was damaged. The breakfast doesn't have any warm options, e.g. eggs. Options were very limited.

The location was very good…close to Termini and the Metro stop. Close but not so close as to be bothered by the low life closer to Termini. I felt very safe. If you get another two blocks away from the hotel, there are some really good restaurants that do not cater to tourists. Walking distance to Forum and Colosseum. Hotel staff very accommodating.

Some people will be bothered by the stairs you have to utilize to get to the elevator. That said, you should expect this in such an older building. Lack of small in room refrigerators could also be an inconvenience. Breakfast choice should be upgraded to include more variety. I took breakfast away from the hotel.

Rome is a beautiful city and the hotel was in a good location, one block to Termini Station so near the trains, buses and Metro. The hotel room was perfect for our needs in that we used it to sleep as we were visiting sites every day, it is a bit dated but was spotless and cleaned every morning with fresh towels. Breakfast was continental from 7.30am to 10.00am, great choices of pastries, bread, hams, cheeses, jams, coffee and tea or juice, go down early as after 9am there is very little left. Staff were very friendly. Our room was on the 1st floor so heard street traffic but it didn't bother us. Definitely go to Mercato Centrale in Termini Station to eat, beautiful food there also high end shops

Termini Station area is not an area that you would walk alone or late at night, alot of homeless around.

Hotel is 2 min walking distance to Roma Termini. It’s old hotel, but for 2 star is ok. They clean the rooms daily (new towels every day), you can leave your luggage for free after check out, basic but good breakfast with very good coffee, very comfortable double bad, hot water… Have in mind that is 2 star hotel (as a property description on booking) and don’t expect to find luxury. This hotel is very good for sleeping and taking a rest after all day sightseeing of Roma.

The rooms need renovation!

First of all, the staff. They are incredibly careful and charismatic - all of them, both during the day and overnight. The hotel and the room is comfortable, charming. Rooms were cleaned everyday and towels were changed daily. Good selection of breakfast to set you up for a day sightseeing. Brilliant location, so convenient to get around Rome, less than a 1 minute walk to the Termini station and with a supermarket round the corner. Very good value for money.

For the price we paid, we got a great hotel in a great location. Yes, the hotel is old, the facilities are not amazing, but it worths the price. If you are traveling, looking for a cheap and good place to sleep and near of the train station the place is perfect. If you are looking for commodities, this is not the place and get ready to pay much more in any other hotel. Bonus. We left our luggage in the morning ( 9:30am, before check in) and in the last day until 9:30pm in the night. For free. The staff was really amazing. Thank you!
