Hotel Mozart

We liked everything about this hotel. The rooms were great. Service was good. The location was perfect for touring Rome. The breakfast buffet was very good. We had a last minute crisis with transportation and the desk attendants helped us solve it quickly. We also had another issue that the hotel attendants very graciously helped us with.

Air conditioner started dripping during the night. The front dest attendant offered to move us to two single rooms, which was good, but we didn't want to move in the middle of the night and we didn't want to separate. Luckily the dripping stopped two days later.

First of all, the staff was absolutely wonderful. Friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. We asked to have a change of room because the first one we were shown was dark ( first floor inner courtyard). The hotel is located right in the historic center of Rome, within walking distance of just about everything. All the shops you could possibly imagine, restaurants, coffee bars from old-fashioned fame to ultra modern. A tourist's paradise. Breakfast was a huge feast, in a separate room, and there is a downstairs bar, and a roof-top terrace overlooking Rome which is a delight for either cocktails or dinner. The wait staff is charming. The only problem I had was with the hot water in the shower, of which there was none, (but there was in the bathtub) and the pillows were like lead. Probably very healthy, but not cuddly. I would stay there in a flash the next time I'm in Rome. You should too!

Breakfast was better than expected - not just continental but every day there was scrambled egg and bacon and a selection of other foods such as omelette, beef, vegetables, couscous ... oh and lots of cakes!! Cappuccinos were excellent Room was clean and had all the toiletries you could need except hair conditioner. Also had a hairdryer. Fridge has 4 bottles of water which was restocked daily. Location is noisy by day as right by the main shopping district but quiet at night so that's fine. 5 minutes from Spanish Steps and close to the park. 30 minute walk to Colosseum and Vatican. Very helpful staff who can book you taxis and answer any questions. Rooftop terrace bar is lovely and very relaxing. On a cold evening the staff light the heaters and bring you blankets! Good wine list and you get substantial snacks with a bottle!

The location could not be better. We walked to almost all points of interest. We were lucky to have had our taxis pick up and drop off at the door, however you should expect to walk to the next street or Piazza del Popolo to find a taxi due to the limited driving zone. The staff was extremely communicative and helpful whenever we had questions. They can provide restaurant recommendations and have a very nice rooftop patio for a pre dinner drink or dinner above the main hotel. The apartment was spacious and we appreciated the in unit laundry washer.

Location was excellent on the busy highstreet of Via del curso, near many shops and also close to the beautiful borghese park. Staff were kind and welcoming throughout the stay. Beautiful comfortable rooms that were cleaned regularly and well. The rooftop bar and restaurant was amazing at sunset and was well-priced with some very nice authentic italian food.

Small issue with our kettle originally smelling of vinegar (but this was fixed before we could even report it!) I think the last guest of the room had tried to cook in it or something. There were no issues at all with this hotel stay it was excellent!

Beautiful hotel in an amazing safe location in the heart of Rome Most sights walking distance Super clean with great polite staff who were always happy to help Great beds and pillows , fridge in the room which was necessary in this hot weather. Beautiful roof garden restaurant Breakfast with a huge variety with a lot fresh fruit and lovely cakes I will definitely stay there again in my next visit

The shower in the single room was tiny and a bit claustrophobic but it was not a major problem as the rest were great Next time I will book a different type of room which will be better as I was told all singles rooms have tiny showers

The roof top terrace was lovely in the evening; cool with a lovely atmosphere. The proximity of the hotel to the Metro made it very easy to pop back from site seeing in the heat of the day to have a siesta - the temperature in July was 35+ degrees. Had a lovely breakfast on our last morning in a bright and cool dining room over looking the Main Street. The reception was always manned and the staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Never opened the shutters in our room as it over looked the small side street, so it was dark but cool +

The location was perfect, exceptional roof garden , encapsulating the essence of Rome . We really enjoyed our Carbonara , overlooking the rooftops & iconic buildings. Very easy to walk to all the attractions . The staff were friendly and very helpful , which added to the ambience. I was sad to leave & will certainly return . This hotel is great value for money & I have no hesitation in recommending it . A big thank you to all the staff .

Lack of mini bar contents .

The spacious rooms in the old, charming buildings. The location is very good, the restaurant is besutifully situatated on the rooftop, serving a limited but very tasty menu. Everything was clean, and the location of our room in another building was unproblematic

The breakfast was very tasty, however, the room where breakfast was served is too crowded, resulting in a rushed atmisphere. In low season I am sure the breakfast is perfect. Basic info on touristinfo was lacking a bit. Our questions about need for tickets in Pantheon on a public holliday were answered incorrectly.

Rooms were modern and comfy and a/c worked well which we needed during our stay as it was 95-100 degrees out. We stayed in the Vilvadi building and each morning there was a piano concerto playing from the nearby music school which was so cool. Loved the rooftop lounge and restaurant! We went every day for afternoon cocktails. Cleaning staff was great and refreshed our bottled water each day. Nice to have the mini fridge and kettle. Definitely recommend getting a rate that includes breakfast. The breakfast was the best included breakfast we had during our two weeks in Italy!

Location was almost too good. You walk out to a busy road with lots of shopping and tourists. I wanted to be central but if I had it to do over would have stayed a little more on the edge of the center and walked into the area. Sooo many people and the restaurants in that area are catering to tourists so a lot of overpriced not great pasta. The woman who greeted us at the front desk was ice cold. The other wait staff was friendly. Be prepared for €15 Aperol sprints at the rooftop bar but they do bring you nice snacks with it. Beds were on the hard side.
