Bettoja Hotel Massimo d'Azeglio

Great location, a short walk from Termini station. So access to trains, taxi and buses very handy. This includes a stop for the Hop on Hop off buses. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. The hotel staff were friendly, most able to converse in English. There is a lift for those with luggage. The rooms were on the small side, but that appears typical in many hotels. But comfortable with all the usual amenities. Breakfast was included and enjoyable with a good range of options. Overall, I enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay again.

I like all the people at Hotel Massimo d'Azeglio. They were friendly and very kind. First of all, I like Italian culture very much, including Italian language and Italian cuisine, et cetera. In that sense, I was very satisfied with the Ristorante at this Hotel.

I wanted to watch BBC on TV but BBC was not on the air. Instead, I could watch English language news by the French broadcaster. So, I was able to be satisfied at the end of the day. I will go back to Rome on 27 September and I will stay at your sister hotel, Hotel Atlantico this time, I'm sorry.

We love this hotel! The staff was very helpful resolved the issues we had very quickly and they accompanied us to our room to verify the issues were resolved. Restaurant food was very good and priced moderately for the quality and the staff was very friendly. The location of the Hotel was perfect in relationship to the train station, locate transportation (Hop-on Hop-off Buses) and many of the major sites.

The only thing that could use improvement are the pillows. For my wife and I they were too soft and just could not get comfortable. One more Item although not bad I wish they had more USB ports for charging our electronics.

Front desk people were all smiley and ready to help! As soon as I checked in I saw that the room was with a view to the garden, I asked for a room with a view to the main Road, and It was done in a second! Then, at the last day, I asked for a late checkout, and they approved it without a question, even though the hotel lobby was full of guests! Emanuelo, Emiliano and Gabriele to mention! The location was perfect, 2 minute walking to main Rome Station - Termini, 2 minute walking to a Metro Station that connected two main Metro lines, line A and B!

Internet went down for a day, though as front desk managers said, it was providers fault, so no hard feelings!

Great location as it is very close to the train station. The hotel was perfect - great room for the 3 of us. Comfortable bed to get over our jet lag. Helpful staff and lovely breakfast. We like the area of Rome - nice restaurant that had great food and did seem to be only Tourist restaurants.

If you want to walk from your hotel this attraction, this hotel is not in the centre but only a couple stops on the subway from the coliseum. If it was not so hot and we were not suffering from Jet lag I am sure the walk would have been fine.

We liked everything, and particularly the discrete old charm of the hotel. The staff are very attentive, efficient and kind. Breakfast was excellent, accommodating for various preferences. We especially appreciated a lot of fresh fruit. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, bathroom of the right size. Our room was overlooking Via Cavour which is a noisy street, but the sound insulation was adequate and we managed to have good night sleeps.

Modern stylish large room with large bed and very comfortable surroundings to relax in. Good sized bathroom. Large breakfast room with enough options for an Italian breakfast. Stylish looking hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, around the corner from Termini station. Late check-out times.

The TV selection was not that great for English channels. A lot of TV channels did not work. Would have been nice to have more English music or movie channels. Can be a bit noisy in the morning with regular doors banging, people chatting in corridors, or furniture being dragged across floor in the room above. Take your ear-plugs if you are a light sleeper. The quality of the room and service outweighed this minor downside though.

Another Bettoja hotel ...one of 3 in the same local , and each with a slightly different style...this one being a bow to a somewhat 60's sense of Italian luxe . all beautifully updated, but retaining the "old world charm' of marble and wood , with high ceilings and remodeled, efficient bathrooms The room was handsomely appointed and no sound from the busy Corso Cavour.

First of all, the staff are wonderful. I've been using the hotel Massimo D'Azeglio Bettoja and Mediterraneo for the past ~ 8 years for business trips and the two main reasons I return there every time are firstly the staff: Sergio, Gualtiero and Monica are the most welcoming, kind, and professional staff I have ever met at the best range hotels so fare, and I've traveled to a lot of 5 star hotels in Europe, but they are the most welcoming and kind. The hotel itself is cosy, welcoming, elegant but not overbearing. The rooms are very spacious, clean and nicely set up with plenty of cushions on the beds, good quality towels and toiletries and I personally appreciate the coffee making facilities in the room too. The location is perfect, 1 minute on foot quite literally from the main train station, Termini, as well as the taxi station and underground. The food is very good too, with an excellent choice of food for breakfast (even including gluten free and whole-meal options), fresh fruit, pastries, cakes, continental breakfasts and the full deal. It is a nice elegant setting for business meetings too (which I've taken advantage of too in the past) yet welcoming and relaxing enough also for a romantic get-away. The roof top bar deserves a mention too: excellent selection of drinks and a stunning view of Rome's skyilne from up their. It makes returning to Rome even when for work, always a pleasure to look forward to, truly. Sergio, Gualtiero e Monica: grazie di cuore, come sempre, per la splendida accoglienza, come sempre. The hotel was absolutely fabulous. Whole hotel was a showcase of grandeur that has been lost in so many modern and newer facilities. All the staff were extremely professional and kind. Place was immaculate. Restaurant service was classical and perfectly executed. Morning breakfast was the best I halve ever seen. We will certainly return on our next visit to Rome

There was nothing that we did not like. Everything was perfect.
