Mendolia Beach Hotel

Great location close to pebble beach, Isola Bella, and funicular, except for lack of space to stop and unload/load car, or parking 300m from hotel. Good picnic breakfast delivered to room, at reasonable price.

The woman at front desk was quite rude, and seemingly mistook us for someone else. The beach club wanted to charge us €25 per person including kids and required a bed rental for all kids, which is ridiculous, with the woman at beach club being very rude and direct. Apparently if you book direct with hotel you get free beds, but no value given to hotel guests if not!

Mendolia Beach Hotel is steps away from the stairs that lead down to Isola Bella and the beautiful beach that surrounds it. It’s also located very close to the cable car that takes you up to the main center. Easy parking near by. The staff were friendly, quick to respond and helpful when needed. Large balcony with a view of the bay. Clean. Staff came in daily to refresh room and amenities. In room refrigerator was a nice surprise. The elevator for our large luggage was a bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

Taormina Hotel room right next to Isola Bella. Clean room, very simple but the balconies and the view, wow, just stunning There is free parking on the street (not easy to find...) Or central parking for 15 euros about 300 meters from the hotel. There are buses in the central parking lot that take you to the center, a few minutes' drive In the center of an area to park if you are not a resident of the area

The elevator to the rooms only works until eight o'clock in the evening. Beyond this hour you have to go up the stairs on foot. For us, the view and the location were worth it.

Amazing amazing view🤩 We booked the hotel last minute, and it was a great in everywhere. Located right at the top of the steps to go down to the beautiful beach and Isola Bella. The room was clean, the toilet/bathroom was also spacious and clean. It was amazing to wake up to the sunrise, and have an apéritive on the balcony at sunset. The cable car which connects you to Taormina is also 150 meters from the hotel. That was also practical, you are basically up in Taormina in 5 minutes. The staffers were very sweet and gave us great suggestions for food etc. if you like peaceful and scenic holidays this is the place.

Minor comment would be the lack of mugs/cups in the room. However, they provided them when we asked and there was a kettle and free tea in the room!

Pulled up outside Mendolia Hotel and was met by the really helpful gentlemen who took our bags into the hotel while we took the car to the pre booked car park around 150 metres away. He couldn't have been anymore helpful. The hotel sea view is most probably the best view that I saw all my time in Taormina. Would without doubt book again!!

Nothing, the location and hotel were everything we wish for!!

The location, the balcony, the view, the cleaning.

We like everything but it's important to say that people that looking for sitting at the balcony and enjoy the quiet - it's a little bit hard at this room because the room located over a main road. Other than that when you close the balcony door you can sleep good, there is no noises and everything is ok.

Exceeded our expectations. Room was massive, terrace was amazing. Balcony was beautiful. Perfect location right on the door step of Isola Bella and a short 5 min walk to the funicular up to Taormina. Breakfast was also amazing.

Shower was quite small, but nothing to put a damper on the amazing stay we had here.

Stunning view from the balcony (Isola Bella), and location in close proximity to the beach. Good dining options in the neighbourhood. Walking distance to the cable car to Taormina city.

There is a huge discrepancy between the actual address of the hotel and its Google Maps location, which drags you to the old city instead! Short number of parking places and in the street only.

The Location was perfect, close to the Station, Bus stops, right in front of Isola Bella and opposite to two excellent Sicilian Restaurants. The sweets at reception were awesome! ;)

Just be aware that you have to pay on departure, which is different from all my other bookings that I could pre-pay.

Amazing location with the most beautiful view from the balcony to the Isola Bella. Very short distance to the beach, easily accessible. Free parking was easy to find on the street. Very nice breakfast was brought to the room. Personnel was very friendly and we felt welcome. Nice restaurants and bars near, and walking distance to cable car.
