Turin Palace Hotel

The room was spacious and quiet (as I requested), the bathroom was wonderful, the water in the small refrigerator was free, the lighting was great, the location was across the street from the station and the underground parking garage. It was easy to walk to great restaurants and all major attractions in the city, except for the automobile museum, which was worth the visit. The breakfast was in a large, beautiful room and was fabulous, the most varied, ample, and delicious of our trip.

We stayed here for 6 nights during Eurovision week. The hotel exceeded our expectations. All the staff were great, the hotel was immaculately presented and our room was comfortable. The free mini bar was a great addition. Breakfast was great and had more than enough options to keep us happy. We also booked a massage and used the spa which were great. The hotel can't be more convenienly located, a one minute walk from the station. The rooftop bar is incredible and gives some of the best views of the city. There is an area to sit where there is bar service. Bar service includes complimentary snacks. There is also an area where you can sit and bring your own drinks and snacks.

My only negative (and it's a small negative in the context of a great week spent at this hotel) was the small bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner. There are more environmentally friendly options available, instead of small bottles of single use plastic.

Location is absolutely beautiful- situated right across Porta Nuova train station and within walking distance of Turin central attractions. Reception opens 24/7 and staff speaks good English, very hospitable. Complimentary mini bar replenished daily is something i really appreciate. Breakfast spread was amazing! Especially the made-to-order coffee of my choice. I love the sitting place and the patio available in each rooms.

Turin is birthplace of many high quality Italian coffee brands such as Lavazza - it is such a pity that there was no coffee machine available in the room, rather we were given instant coffee sachets. A decent coffee machine is pretty common in many other hotels I went in Italy or Europe in general, so I think this should be considered to be installed in all rooms. The design of the bathroom is rather odd - shower booth directly facing open glass windows covered by only thin curtains (with no additional cover). I prefer total privacy in bathroom. Location of bidet and toilet is across each other instead of next to each other (i found this rather odd compared to normal Italian bathrooms I have seen - and a little inconvenient to be honest).

I truly enjoyed my stay in Turin Palace Hotel. The location is very close to the train station Porta Nuova, also within a short walking distance to the city center. The staff was superb: polite, courteous and attentive. The hotel has a lovely and exquisite interior design; the colors were well chosen, the decoration was carefully selected. The room was beautiful! It had a double bed (which was so comfortable!), a balcony and a walk-in closet! The bathroom was spacious and had a walk-in shower. The breakfast was amazing! They had plenty of vegan options as well. I can only recommend this beautiful hotel. I will definitely come back when I travel to Turin again.

Nothing, I would have liked to stay longer.

From the minute we walked into the hotel we were made to feel at home. The staff were awesome. Professional, friendly and truly memorable. Breakfast was the best we had in Italy after visiting 4 other cities. The staff were magnificent. The food options were fantastic and quality superb. One of the staff even insisted we prepare a tray for our daughter who didn’t make it to breakfast to take it up to her. Absolutely blown away. Th a yon so much for a memorable experience at a well presented hotel. Everyone took pride in their job and it made our stay very memorable. Dinner on a couple of the nights was great. Food options, presentation and taste was impeccable. This is a golden hotel and should not be missed. Drinks in the bar in the evening were relaxed and fun. Thank you to the bar staff. Thank you to the entire team. You made our visit a memorable one.

Absolutely nothing!!!

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and was generally very impressed! Arriving around midday on a Sunday, the staff managed to allocate me a room despite being very early for the room (I was aware there may have been a wait and was presently surprised when a room was given!). The room was very airy, spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The wardrobe was huge (I expected to find Narnia in there somewhere) and fitted with a safe. There were complimentary tea and coffee facilities, bottles of water and soft drinks in the fridge that were replenished every day, an array of toiletries and a robe and slippers provided. Breakfast was included in the rate and this was excellent with a range of both cooked and cold options each day, all of which was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay, offering advice on places to eat-out and making reservations etc. One evening a colleague and I had a few drinks in the lobby bar area and found them to be reasonably priced for a high-end hotel. The Hotel has a Spa and Gym. I did not use the Spa facilities and used the gym once. The hotel's location is good for the train station and is easily walkable to many restaurants, cafes, bars and shopping. Some of the areas not far from the hotel did not feel the safest however this is to be expected in a city center but is worth noting fi travelling alone. Overall, I would very much recommend staying here.

My only minor criticism of the room would be the light switches not controlling all the individual side lights (which means turning them on and off separately - which is partly me being lazy but still annoying). The Hotel gym is a bit limited. It needs to be booked in advance and only 2 are allowed to use at a time (this makes sense given its size and I had no issues with booking when I wanted to use it) however some additional equipment would be useful. Just a greater range of weights would make a lot of difference (the largest dumbbell is 10Kg). Some of the areas not far from the hotel did not feel the safest however this is to be expected in a city center but is worth noting if travelling alone.

The room was facing the railway station, yet quiet and very comfortable. Staff was friendly and attentive. Bathroom very luxurious. Breakfast was fantastic: high quality and a big variety of breads etc. For the croissants lovers: we counted 10 different kinds. Ok we just needed one, but stil plenty of food to choose from. The coffee too was excellent; what you may expect in Italy. The rooftop terrace was a delight - even in January - with great views. So close to the railway Porta Nuovo and central bus station; just a minute away, was very handy. Advice: Buy your tickets before you head for departure. Small stations are not mapped and you have to ask. The same accounts for buses to the airport; easy to travel with, but you have to know where they stand (Opposite from the main street, on the right hand side of the park.)

Leaving after one night...

Very classy hotel located in the center of the city. Small, elegant, and a truly wonderful and professional staff. Easy to walk to the many sites, cafes, and delicious restaurants. The staff at the reception desk helped set up two dinner reservations ahead of time for me and my colleagues - both were fantastic. We also started and finished our evenings in the hotel bar. The bar staff were truly craftsman. These guys are passionate about their work and it shows. Excellent cocktails, suggestions, and well crafted attentive service.

Nothing. Honestly, it was fantastic.

Beautiful hotel in a good location for all the tourist sites in Turin. Our room was large and had its own private terrace. Mini bar with soft drinks was complimentary and a lovely card and chocolate left for us too. Also coffee/tea making facilities in room. Spotlessly clean with a luxurious bathroom. Fantastic breakfast included. Lovely sky bar and restaurant with great views.

It was extremely hot - 38 degrees - would have liked to lower air con in our room but wouldn’t go lower than 21 (might be that we just couldn’t work out how to do it). Also to use the spa (not treatment, just jacuzzi and steam room/sauna) it would cost 20 euros each which is a little excessive for residents.

The hospitality of the staff was fantastic and they accommodated my family requirements to a very high standard. The breakfast was fresh and the hotel room was very comfortable and spacious. The location was excellent as it was next to the train station and tram stop. The free spaces within the hotel was also a nice addition with many quiet places to sit and read.

The gym was small but I was able to book every day that I needed so not a very big issue but I can understand if there are a lot of people staying at the time it may be busy.
