Hotel Madi

Very modern, aesthetically pleasing decor. Great rooftop with a heated pool. Extremely friendly staff. Crisp, clean linens. Quiet little escape in not so quiet Mexico. Very close to the center with restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Enjoyed breakfast that was included in the stay.

I would have liked to have self serve access to coffee and hot water for tea in the lobby early in the morning. I also think a garrafon of drinking water to refill water bottles in the lobby would also be welcomed by guests. I also was charged $700 pesos for laundry which was quoted as $300 pesos. That was excessive. My room - though comfortable- had no natural light. Were I to stay again, I would request the 3rd floor as the lower floors do not have natural light from outdoors.

The boutique hotel  Had beautiful facilities, amazing arts, and a fabulous service. All the employees went above and beyond to make sure that the clients or well attended.

The property is beautiful with 3 floors 8 rooms per floor with and a trim in the middle with the beautiful sculpture in a water. The room were perfect size with a specious bathroom. The roof top was my favorite place for the sunset. The beautiful view of the city with a constant nice breeze was just a treat to the heart, mind and soul.

The hotel is very chic and artfully designed and furnished. The rooms are well appointed with very comfy firm beds and excellent bathrooms. The roof terrace is wonderful with beautiful views. Staff are mostly very attentive, especially Mauro. Complimentary breakfast is from a narrow menu but beautifully cooked. The pool is tiny but lovely. My family enjoyed the massage and jacuzzi. Valet parking was efficient.

Reception staff were very confused about prepayment, pre authorisation and payment on checkout. I didn't think it appropriate to pay for the bottled water in the rooms. Rooms mostly have a view of the inner courtyard so could be a bit dark and noisy at times.

They should 1. Provide a coffee maker and not an Expresso maker as the former is more popular with tourists 2. Should have a price list available in the in- room-bar 3. The bedside table is very small and not practical for convenience ( already occupied with telephone and digital clock) as there is no room on the table for your glasses/ phones or any other personal item ( being a couple) 4. The counter with the Expresso maker, coffee and snacks is small, and is too narrow to sit down as a writing table. What's more there is no drawer 5. The room is a bit crowded given the king size bed resulting in just about a foot of space between the wall unit on one side and the wall on the other side. You had to maneuver your way around making it difficult at night

Everything was great, rooms were smaller than pictured in website and so was pool. But hotel was clean, modern, and staff was friendly and very accommodating. The waiter on rooftop was very nice and tried to provide the fastest service he could, but he needs help when there are several guests up there for breakfast. We were patient but other guests were not and were angry, please have someone help him up there. Also it would help if you made a menu that specifically said what is included with free breakfast vouchers. This way waiter does not have to tell us what is /isn’t included. It puts him in a bad spot. Other than this the staff was very polite, friendly and accommodating. Thank you

I loved the clean, modern, artistic asthenic of the hotel. It really feels like you're somewhere special when you walk in. The staff is incredibly competent, attentive, and helpful. I also loved the huge bathroom in my room with plenty of towels and toiletries.

There really wasn't anything to complain about here. It's hard to imagine how my stay could have been better.

The location was good. The rooms were very clean. The facility was very cool looking the staff was super friendly and the food was expected to be more Mexican than American style and was fine

Beautiful hotel with a nice rooftop and a little pool. Super clean, great bathroom and amenities. Breakfast was very nice, a few choices available and you can have it on the rooftop overlooking the city or downstairs. Breakfast starts a little late as at 9AM but that was also fine by me. Staff friendly and helpful, good communication.

No window in the room facing the outside (as in most hotels in SMA due to tiny little streets). The window was facing the inner part of the hotel, the corridor, and the blind was not strong enough to stop the light from coming inside.

The location was amazing! Easy access to everything. It was very clean and staff was very friendly.

We had to move rooms because there was a leak in the AC unit, but staff immediately moved us and ensured we were taken care of. It was a bit loud on the first floor.

It’s all you can ask for right in the heart of San Miguel de Allende. Our expectations were high and they were fulfilled, the hotel is small but practical, great breakfast and terrace ambience. Without doubt, we would stay here again.
