The staff, especially Martha the lady in charge. She was very helpful and friendly. Everything was walking distance.
They have breakfast but open too late for us. Coffee would have been great. I mentioned to Martha after we check out and she said why didn't we mentioned before, she would've made it possible for us. I guess next time.

Location, location, location. There is street parking in front of hotel. I could see my car from my room.
A bit noisy. Noise from the vendors, food vendors directly across the street on the malecon. This is Mexico so we need to expect noise and loud music. Nothing to do with the hotel or the room but I had food and a Beer with my food, they charged 100 peso, be aware the alcohol brought from the eating places on the Malecon are gouging.

Although the Toca Madera doesn’t have parking but it’s difficult to find parking... near hotel unless you get there early in the morning or late at night...another downfall is that once local businesses close at night the people who are drunk get very loud and disorderly outside but other then that Toca Madera is a great hotel to stay if you can put with the noisy drunks outside... Just a note the hotel is safe and secure to stay..

The location was great, property was extremely clean, bed was comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Excellent value!
There was quite a bit of noise from traffic on the road right in front of the hotel, so a little hard to sleep until everyone goes home for the night. However, this is where the location was great being so close to the boardwalk, but comes at a price with being close to everything. Nothing that is the hotel’s fault.
