Life Hotel

Amazing value for money. We have been to Oaxaca before and stayed in various hotels in the city centre: they have more character and are at a walking distance from historical sites, but the comfort is rather questionable, as buildings are somewhat old. This time we only spent a night in Oaxaca on our way to the seaside and deliberately chose a hotel out of city centre but close to the highway leading to our destination. The building is modern and the comfort level is great compared to everything we have seen in Oaxaca before: huge room with a large bathroom, plenty of storing place, desktops in the main room and in the bathroom, a coffee machine and courtesy products to make coffee, minimalistic design, but everything is modern and functionable. Good water pressure and nice hot shower, powerful WCs. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. Nice breakfast - not a wealth of choice, but more than enough for our needs. The parking is underground and there's a lift for the car to go up and down. All for half the price of a budget hotel in the city centre.

I would add a little bit more choice to the breakfast options, but maybe it's just because there were not many people in the hotel when we stayed, so it was not worth it.

Clean, comfortable facilities with tasty breakfast included.....couldn't ask for more. The tortas downstairs were delicious. The hot 🌭 stand also sells pretty delicious hamburger (kind of a hot sandwich bc the patty is very thin and has ham too). The local bus transport is straightforward and cheap 8 pesos pp ea way to the main zocalo and tourist area. Overall, people were cordial in and out of the hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much.

No ice machine or mini fridge for cold drinks or snacks while in the hotel, but we knew that going in. They do have restaurant downstairs and can buy cold drinks there though.

The size of the room was spacious, really enjoyed that. I liked the setup of the sink and bathroom/shower as well. The room was really clean. I liked the lighting options as well. I liked the closet space and the long table in the room. The safe was also useful.

It's missing a mini fridge. The Do no Disturb light actually turns off when the keycard is out of the room when a guest is out, so the room service people don't know whether a guest wants their room cleaned or not. It only stays on if the keycard is in the room. Perhaps an old fashioned do not disturb sign to hang on the doors for when guests go out would be good.

Great value. Friendly professional helpful staff that know a lot and can help you plan a trip. The rooms are big, modern and comfortable with a cool design. Actually the whole hotel is designed well. The breakfast is excellent and great value. The location is in a safe area of the city with everything you need nearby, including cafes etc. We walked into the city center in 20 or 30 minutes and saw a wonderful church on the way, or you can Uber into the center. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent too, we ended up eating there often for the quality, variety and price.

Breakfast was nice. Price a was a little high even going through booking.com. People are very friendly and nice.

A small frig in the rooms, a ice machine to get ice. My fried needs to keep his meds cold and this was a problem with no frig or ice. It would be nice to have Netflex

Wide, comfortable room, nice view, comfortable bed, plenty of space for everything, very nice bathroom. It was a pleasure to be a guest at the hotel. I needed a particular type of charging cable and the receptionist found the one I needed.

The breakfast was so poor that I went directly to the restaurant - I could not eat anything from the three things offered.

Hotel facilities are new. Crew are very friendly. Breakfast was simple but very good with good options for international guests who are not get used with local food.

The localization where in a high traffic avenue and is far from the most important historical points of interest (30 min walking distance to downtown). Also there isn't many food options around, even thou the hotel has a restaurant inside.

Everything. Window is spectacular, panoramic, wall to wall. The view at night was awesome. Coffee maker in the room, espresso, this is one in hundreds in Mexico.

AC is set on 21°C that is it take it or leave it. May be too modern for Mexico reality but this could be seen as positive as well, I guess

large clean room with two beds, safe box, rich breakfast, guarded parking in garage, restaurant just within hotel, from 4th floor you can see oaxaca at night in its beauty

the location is a bit out of range to city center on a rush street

The staff is extremely clean, not a single stain on anything

the location is not that close to downtown but that is not a big deal
