It located in a quiet area, while I had no problem walking to everywhere I wanted to visit in Oaxaca City. Staff was very kind and thoughtful, making me feel protected. It must have been renovated not so long ago, so the room looked still new to me and I liked that.

It's not that I was unsatisfied, but in the shower room, I almost fell twice as the floor was really slippery when it's wet and the drainage wasn't perfect. Also, I wished there were a mini-bar or small refrigerator to keep a bottle of juice for my breakfast. But, of course, I already knew that's not happening when I booked.

The location was really good, it was close to the Sant Domingo church and near the center of the city. But it was also further from the zocalo so you couldn't hear the noises at night.

The bathroom and the shower were connected but it wasn't easy to go through and it was really small. The pillows were uncomfortable and really thin. The staff weren't paying attention when you get to the hotel since it was locked with a key, it takes some time for them to notice you outside.

Oh my GOD! I rented two rooms here, one for my partner and myself and one for my parents to share. We were all in town for my brother's wedding and we were going to be staying for 10 days. First off, the care from the staff was unparalleled. Noelia (sorry if I spelled your name wrong!) helped with the following things: My parents' first room didn't have a window and my mom has this weird thing with needing to always know if it's day/night/twilight/dawn and asked to be moved to a new room with windows. The best room for my mom's wants was currently occupied but the people were going to be moving out later that same day so while we were out exploring the Zocolo and Benito Juarez they moved my folks' bags for them so that when we returned they were ensconced in a perfect room. Second, since we were staying for a longer stay than most of their guests usually do they let us use their kitchen to store some of our food since we were eating in as well as out. Third, Noelia not only knew some fantastic places to eat, but would make our reservations for us anywhere we asked, coordinate taxies, tours, and any other entertainment/exploration we could ask for. Also, for anyone who is familiar with traveling in Mexico, they have HOT WATER FOR SHOWERS. Which is unusual in my earlier travels in DF, Oaxaca, and San Agustanillo, and anywhere in Mexico. The rooms were very clean, had televisions though we never used ours, private AC units in each room, and really nice lighting with lots of recessed lighting that was well designed and beyond comfortable. The other two staff we got to know best were Don Rujelio and Brenda (again sorry if spelling is inaccurate) and they were both delights, accommodating and sweet and generous with their time and knowledge and conversation. We got the tips on where to get cheap Mezcal, delicious tacos, and the most fun.

No real complains, the staff bent over backwards to make us feel at home and the accommodations were the best I've had in Mexico. There was one day where the water ran out, but that only lasted about 4 hours.

The zone is very close to downtown and other interesting places. Night crew, Luis & Carolina were so kind, and help us when we were reviewing what to do around the city and diferent places next to Oaxaca.

Windows beside the main door in the room permits a lot of light from outside corridor. Room #6 has a little furniture for the clothe.

Everything was perfect and as described on the listing. Staff were very helpful and spoke good english. The room was clean and the terrace was lovely.

Unfortunately the room didn't come with a fridge. It was not listed so we didn't expect to have one, but it would be a nice addition to keep our drinks cold.

The staff at this hotel is exceptional, everyone was friendly, kind and helpful. As a solo traveler I felt very safe and protected here. I would stay here again and recommend it.

The walls were thin you can hear the toilet flush from the other room next door.

We stayed in a down stairs unit, it had a lovely sitting area with a covered Terence made of vines. It was very cozy and secluded. The staff were excellent. Carol the owner (who speaks perfect English by the way) was extremely helpful she arranged taxis for us and even had the lab come in to do our COVID testing at the hotel.
