Secrets Moxché Playa del Carmen - Adults Only - All Inclusive

This is one of the most incredible hotels in Riviera Maya. It's extremely relaxing, with multiple areas to swim and lounge in. The design of each area is so well thought out, so if you want to listen to live music at the main pool by the ocean, or have a quiet time in another pool, lay in a hammock over the water, or relax in a cenote style pool area, you can suit your mood on any given day. The restaurants have excellent high quality food, plenty of options on the menus and of course high service standards by all of the waiting staff in both the restaurants and bars. From the moment you enter the lobby you have breathtaking views of the ocean and main hotel areas. The staff that greet you and the reception staff are extremely professional and they all give a service that is above the levels of other hotels in the region. The entertainment at night was excellent, with many acts playing back to back with a smooth transition and the audio/lighting was perfectly matched to the events. The lay out and interior design of the suites are just incredible. I loved everything about them and it was just pure luxury to stay there in one of the most comfortable beds I've ever stayed in. I can't wait to go back to this hotel and I'm sure I will have multiple visits in the future. Excellent job on the new opening of this hotel, it certainly lived up to the hype and the expectation I had going there. This adults only Secrets resort is worth every penny and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Leaving! My family and I had booked other hotels within the region over a 5 night period, as we were doing a tour of the area, but we all agreed that had we known how amazing this hotel was, we would have just spent the 5 nights there.

We had such a wonderful time at this location. Even though it rained almost the entire time, we were out in the pool having a blast. Here is something to be aware of, they want to give you a "tour" of the location to become a "member". That took half our first morning and we were not getting out of there until we paid thousands of dollars to be members. Say NO to anything free and enjoy your stay because that portion is a scam!

Stop having your customers (us) go on these tours for sales pitches that are not equivalent to the contract that is being offered. That was a waste of our vacation time and we fortunately made our experience good even after that bad start.

The hotel is very new, clean and beautiful. The stuff is incredibly polite and kind. A lot of nice restaurants and amazing pools!

Because it's a brand new hotel they have to work some kinks. The hotel room wasn't totally clean and it took a long time for them to come and clean it. The floor concierge wasn't available most of the time and the wake up call we ordered never arrived. Also long duration of waiting for service in the Italian restaurant. The most disappointing thing was that nobody told us there is such a long waiting list for the Japanese restaurant so we've missed it.

Clean, luxury and new place.

Super weak conciege service. I tried to contact conciege week before my arrival to discuss proposal and no one was picking up when I arrive I went straight to speak with conciege and their motivation was weak tired and embarassing… I ended up proposing on the beach asking random guests to make a video for me. Also if you expect crystal clear water like I did forget. The water was not clear. Its not hotels fault but I will not choose this hotel in the future.

Love love love - everything was outstanding!!! The bed was so comfortable- the pools were beautiful!! The staff were extraordinary - The French restaurant was one of the best meals I’ve ever had - shout out to Louis(Lui) our fabulous server! Jacob the manager at Suki was so friendly! Victor at breakfast & Piyo our concierge were also outstanding! And not to forget Ceaser at the bar always with a smile ! Thank you ye made it all wonderful! Will definitely be back !

Nothing to fault ! Just a small recommendation to have some games in the Dark horse - like scrabble or a deck of cards - for the rainy days when the pool table is being used 😀

The resort was beautiful, room was comfortable and staff was always attentive, accommodating and exceedingly friendly. The multiple pools provided a variety of experiences from peaceful to playful. The all inclusive restaurant options were exceptional and we enjoyed every meal we had. The restaurant and poolside entertainers were very talented and well curated.

The rooms lacked sufficient space for clothing storage. For those who have food allergies it was somewhat annoying to repeatedly provide the hostess and server details at every meal. This could be alleviated by having the information available online in the hotels database. Daily cleaning of pools could be enhanced, specifically the Lake, Activities Pool and Relaxing Pool.

The property is almost new (opened 6 months ago) and it is superb. The grounds are immaculate, the beach is beautiful and well maintained. There are musicians every two hours that play by the pool all day and they are outstanding. The female violinist that plays on Monday nights can be heard throughout the resort (almost as if it is a huge amphitheater) and the experience is magical. Almost every employee greets you with a good morning, evening or a kind hola. My girlfriend and I stayed here for a total of seven nights and we WILL be returning. We are VERY picky with our hotel stays and we have stayed in many hotels. This hotel is our favorite one yet!

We like to workout when we go on vacation and we’re disappointed in the gym. There is a minimal amount of machines but the actual gym is small and if there are several people working out, it is crowed. There are two other rooms used for yoga and spin classes but I felt these could be converted to more weight training areas. Overall the gym is acceptable but with a world class resort such as this, there is room for improvement.

The place is amazing! Food was great, much more than any other all inclusive resort we have been to. Also, the place is beautiful!!!! Staff is amazing! Especially Karina our consierge who was very helpful and Frida the waiter at the pool who was super friendly! .

My only two negative things are that first of all, the prefered club does not worth the extra money. The preffered pool was full with bugs and it was kind of disgusting getting in. Same for the private pool we had in our room. The good thing is that there are so many other pools that it didnt really matter

This was another incredible stay at Secrets Moxche and it's our new favourite hotel in the region. From the moment you arrive it's just pure luxury with the highest standard of service from ALL of the staff throughout the hotel. This time we really enjoyed the Vow Renewal Mayan Ceremony at the cenote style pool area. It was such a lovely moment to share on our anniversary and the staff did a great job during this experience. As before, the food options in the restaurants were great and tasted really good. The room was amazing and spotlessly clean as usual.

The Saturday night show called Quirky. It's just not the type of entertainment I expect in a classy hotel like this. On our previous stay we found the entertainment to be excellent and very fitting for the areas the performers had to perform in, but the main theatre show this time, was a little shocking and unfortunately not to our taste.

Resturants were very good. Having multiple pool setting was awesome. The regular staff was very friendly and welcoming. The activities staff around the pool and other activities were top notch. Location and security were great. Was large enough but not to big.

Fitness center could have a few more weights. I was a little suprised on how many employees didn't speak good english which was a challenge at some of the resturants. The beach area was small and not well used. I wouldn't have anymore issues as I think it was a great resort.
