Singular Dream Beach Residences

Our stay definitely exceeded expectations. This is a new block of apartments/rooms in a lovely location of Playa del Carmen, away from all the madness of 5th Avenue. The bed was very comfy and the lounge/kitchen area was very well equipped and decorated beautifully. There is a lot of space and the balcony overlooking the sea was huge. The rooftop is amazing with three pools, lots of comfy beds and a bar with very cheap drinks for Playa - 35 peso beers and 70 peso margaritas. It is a few minutes walk from Calle 38 which has lots of lovely ‘Tulum-style’ restaurants and a craft brewery.

It's such an amazing place, with an amazing rooftop pool and bar. Service was spectacular. Close to the beach and 5th Avenue. Rooms are beautiful and modern. Will definitely recommend it. This will be my go to place in Mexico

- The hotel was great for the price range we had around 40USD / night for Deluxe room. I would book again. - It was very clean, new - the rooftop pool was AWESOME :) - Location quite OK - Parking

- Mainly that when booking the "deluxe" room, I wasnt aware it has no windows, or lets say very small window headed to a wall / shaft. We didnt mind -that- much because othewise the hotel was very nice. - The staff seemed a bit "amateurish" - I had the feeling that the hotel was new so everyone is learning. - our room shared an "entry hall" - lock-off with another room with a very noisy group which was quite tedious...

The location was great, just a short walk to the beach or Fifth Ave. The roof top was fantastic with amazing ocean views. It was quiet and there were plenty of chairs around the beautiful pools. Such a great experience, we are already planning our next trip.

The only thing that could have made it better would have been having a coffee shop and restaurant on-site. But, we stocked our kitchen with what we needed and went to the local coffee shops and restaurants. If you go to the restaurants off Fifth Ave the prices are better and it feels more authentic.

The place was beautifully decorated and is a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of Playa Del Carmen’s main strip of restaurant’s and and bars. everything was modern and clean, hosting a fabulous rooftop and pool. a great place to stay! but what sets SDBR aside more than anything is their customer service. I experienced A LOT of issues with my luggage (I booked here for one night before embarking on an organised tour through Central America) and the team were AMAZING at helping me out when the airline were completely uncontactable. they went above and beyond, and even helped take my bag to the local DHL office as I knew nobody else in Mexico that would be able to help. I had booked the trip for personal reasons, and without the team at SDBR, I would have had to cancel the whole thing and go and retrieve my luggage myself. thank you team! and for anyone that’s reading this - go and stay. you will be looked after and will have a fabulous time :-)

I was only there for one night so would be unfair for me to comment (also I’m biased because of the huge amount of help they’ve given me!)

Really nice new big clean apartment. Well equipped. Daily cleaning. Perfect quiet location! 2 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to the 5th. Nice restaurants near by.

There is only one elevator for all the apartments, which means that you have to wait quite a long time every time. Also It would be nice if the bar also had coffee and something to eat nearby:)

Double bedroom was nice Plates and cups were provided, double washroom Couch was comfortable and so was the bed. Location was off the 5th avenue but close to the beach. Rooftop pool was great.

View in second room was depressing, it looked into a wall, some plants could be placed in front of the window to block the view of just a wall.

Everything! the location was perfect, the facilities awesome, the apartment super comfortable!

I would improve the standards of the cleaning.. I found old stuff in fridge and hair on the bed. there is a minor detail but could improve

Very nice and new apartment. Quite street, close to everything. Cozy roof top pool area.

Internet was useless which was devastating. Cleaning was very poor with cuts from nails, bread crumbs and hair on floor and in the carpet on the floor.

Perfect location, wonderful air conditioning, clean and family friendly pool, very friendly staff, safe car parking under the building.
