Catalonia Riviera Maya Resort & Spa- All Inclusive

Great hotel with friendly and accommodating staff in the reception, restaurants and bars. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel on a mini honeymoon and all of the facilities that we used were very comfortable and of a good standard.

The special booking reservation restaurants were not of the expected standard - despite being fairly quiet both evenings that we had booked for the service was not as good as in the buffet restaurant downstairs. While being part of the all inclusive offer this element fell short of what was promoted. The quality of the food was good however in the hotel.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was big and clean. We also enjoyed the food and the themed restaurants. Our favorite was the Japanese one, we also liked the Italian one. Great salsa live band at the pool one day

I am only thirty years old but even I would’ve enjoyed some „quiet time“ at the pool. Im sure that elderly people (even my cool mom) wouldn’t have liked the constant noise with animation and music and games. Unfortunately (and this is no one’s fault) the sea water was completely full with sea weed so we couldn’t really use the beach. But we walked to another one and used one in Cancun on a day trip. That was great.

We had a great time. The resort had a very international flair about it, people from all over. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The resort even had weekly "thank you" parties for guests who came through Booking.com. We had the basic room and it was quite nice. The swimming area in the ocean was very nice, lots of fish to see.

The buffet food was decent but could be improved with a little effort. Too much salt! The specialty restaurants were good, especially the steak house. It was crowded, so if you wanted a lounge on the beach or by the pool you needed to reserve one by 6:30 - 7:00 AM or forget about it.

We loved everything about the hotel. The drinks, the food, the location; the whole vibe of the resort. Everyone seemed so happy and positive it was a pleasure to stay. We stayed in one of the Privileged rooms with having the 'Romance Package'. Room and outdoor bath were beautiful. Towels changed twice daily.

Great staff, resort looks very nice with nice gardens. We had a nice room (privilege) with own bath on the terrace. the rooms on the front of the privilege block don’t have any privacy on the terrace. Food in Bloved restaurant (only for privilege) was very tasty. The lobster dinner at NYE was amazing.

I scored the hotel an 8 because of the great staff and the fact we did enjoy our stay, however there is room for improvement in general. Upon arrival all non privilege restaurants were fully booked for the whole following week. We ordered a breakfast via room service and it never came. We were not told what was included in our privilege package, but had to arrange everything ourselves.

Everything was nice the buffet had a nice variety. The staff was also very friendly.

The hotel was very welcoming and the staff were always very friendly. The room was nicer than expected. Both the BeLoved and Japanese restaurant where very nice and contributed towards a very enjoyable holiday.

The Italian restaurant wasn't very good unfortunately. The sales people where very pushy, this includes the Photographers ($20 per photo), the Spa and the Exclusive "club"/timeshare.

For an all-inclusive accommodation, they had a large variety of food courts , restaurants and entertainment areas. Lovely place.

staff was very friendly

we paid extra for privilege to have better areas with less people and the privileged pool was filled with kids, screaming , splashing. we never went in the pool . I came here to relax and it wasn’t very relaxing

Staff service at reception and restaurants is great. We liked our room and green areas.

There was no coffee in the room, only a cofee maker. And there is a mistake on this site. It says there is a bathroom and a bath. But really it is only a shower.
