Amazing staff, so friendly, relaxed Tulum vibes, and with the right touch! The hotel itself feels fresh, good breakfast and lunch options. Plenty of beach beds and hammocks for lounging in the sun, whilst listening to the waves. If it wasn’t for the beach club next door it would be 10 out of 10

The “new Tulum” is unfortunately taking more and more space (if people want to experience that kind of south beach, why not go to Miami?). The beach club next door blasts music most hours of the day. Between midnight and 5am every night, they really crank it up, so don’t expect to get any sleep between those hours :-(

A wonderful place that has everything you need without being a big hotel bunker. You live right on the beach with a great view through palm trees to the beach. There are beach chairs for the guests in the shadow and the sun. It is a smaller hotel with charm and super nice staff. There is a cozy restaurant overlooking the beach with great breakfast and where you can also have a delicious lunch and/or dinner. You can also order drinks to the beach chairs there. The rooms are very large and nicely furnished according to the whole atmosphere. Be aware that there is a beach club next door but which was noisy until 1am mainly on weekends, we didn't hear much during the weekdays. Great for those who want to have the opportunity to go out. The Club can be reached on foot directly from the beach. But even without visiting the Beach Club, you can still enjoy some quieter Club Lounge music next to the sound of the ocean from the hotel beach chairs during the day. We will definitely come back to this place for the next beach stay in Mexico (and can recommend the place to others who also like it less crowded, especially in the off-season as there were really hardly any people on the beach when we were there).

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the summer veranda were exquisite experiences, made even more magical by the backdrop of Tulum sunsets. The panoramic views from the top platform of the hotel created the perfect setting for romantic evenings and rejuvenating yoga. Throughout our stay, we couldn't help but notice the dedication and cheerfulness of the staff, who treated us like family. Victor and Joel, with their infectious energy, ensured that every day started with a positive vibe☀️. Sasil and Pek, the enchanting dogs with their charming Mayan names, added an extra layer of charm to the hotel, making us feel even more at home. And special thanks to the outstanding hospitality of Marta, that’s unforgettable. And oh, the culinary delights crafted by Chef Edgar! Every meal was a revelation of fresh, natural ingredients expertly combined to create an explosion of flavors. The chef's dishes were unparalleled, leaving us enchanted and claiming the top spot among all the restaurants we visited in the area. As our last day approaches, we find ourselves savoring every second here, cherishing the memories we've created, and wishing time would slow down. Los Arrecifes has woven its way into our hearts, and we know for certain that we will return to this paradise. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Los Arrecifes Hotel, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. This enchanting seaside retreat exceeded all my expectations and left me with cherished memories that will last a lifetime. The hotel staff at Los Arrecifes deserves special recognition for their exceptional service. Warm, friendly, and attentive, they greeted me with genuine hospitality and were always ready to assist with any request. I was particularly grateful for the generous room upgrade, which added luxury and comfort to my stay. The accommodations at Los Arrecifes were simply superb. It offered convenient access to various amenities, including bars, restaurants, and the beach. I was able to explore the vibrant local scene, indulge in delicious cuisine at nearby restaurants, and enjoy the sun, sand, and waves at the beautiful beach. Overall, having visited numerous hotels in the Tulum/Cancun area, I can confidently say that Los Arrecifes Hotel and Spa stands out as the best.

My boyfriend and I (in our 40’s) stayed 7 nights here and loved everything about this quaint, perfectly sized place. I wish I could go back! It is right on the beach and our room was on the floor with easy access to the eating area and of course the beach which was lovely. The room is spacious and comfy, with lots of light if you want or black out curtains for sleeping in. All the best touches. The staff clean the seaweed right away off the beach in the morning so that you have nice access to the water. The swimming was perfect, and we saw manta rays. Everyone employed at the property is extremely friendly and accommodating! We especially loved the head waiter Hosme…I wish I could give him another hug! He made us the best margaritas, guacamole, ceviche, surf and turf platter and of course every morning a complimentary breakfast of omelets, fresh brewed coffee, and fresh fruit! It was delicious. We also loved Marta..the owner. She was the best! The location of this property is right in the heart of the beach club district on the beach strip of Tulum. It felt safe and there was a convenient store right across the street which was very helpful. There are many clubs and restaurants right outside your door.

There was only ONE downfall to this property and I almost feel bad writing it down but it may be significant for some people: there is a dance beach club right next door. They start their base dance music at about lunch time and it goes all night till 12-3 in the morning, every night of the week. If you are a heavy sleeper you might be fine with a sound machine. But if your a light sleeper, a sound machine didn’t touch the base and a sleeping pill didn’t work. I ended up getting Valium at the pharmacy down the street and took that every night along with the sound machine at full blast on a speaker to pass out. It worked like a charm!!! And I slept like a baby for the remaining nights. I haven’t touched the Valium since!!

Amazingly friendly staff, new building with a sustainability concept, incredibile location right on the beach. Breakfast was very tasty, vibe is relaxed and price/quality ratio is exceptional

One thing that can be changed: breakfast time starts at 9am. However, if you need to leave earlier for an excursion just you speak to the staff the day before, they can arrange a tasty sandwich for the next day! One thing that cannot be changed: the loud beach clubs nearby (they are ALL OVER Tulum beach, so it's not a problem just here). Anyway, in the night the sound is very low and there is a good isolation in the room, so sleep should be fine

There was really nothing to complain about. The room was fantastic. All of the staff was excellent and we had some wonderful meals there as well. It is so beautifully placed along the beach and we woke up and fell asleep to the sound of waves. It was also very nice to have AC available whenever we needed it as that is not common for hotels in that area. We felt removed from the hustle and bustle of the street but we’re walking distance from many places in the hotel zone. As other reviewers mentioned there is the music from the club next door but we didn’t mind it even though we were in one of the rooms that was closer to it and it generally finished by about 10:00/11:00pm.

There was nothing to dislike.

The staff is the best asset. They are warm, welcoming, acommodating, always smiling. They make your stay so much better. The location (if you don't mind the loud music), in the heart of Tulum's hotel area and many good restaurants at walking distance. The view from my room was really nice.

Although the food is really good, options are limited. It is right next to two of the most popular and loud beach clubs. Music starts around noon and when I stayed, due to COVID, stopped at 11pm (in normal circumstances it probably finishes much later). I knew this going in but I honestly didn't think it would feel so loud (at nights and weekends is the loudest) during the day is not as loud.

The location, staff, and accommodations are excellent in every regard. Stylish, upscale, safe, and spacious. Gabriel was an excellent receptionist, concierge, and manager. This is a boutique hotel and certainly lived up to this expectation.

The deep base music from the clubs less than 100 yards down the beach can be heard at all hours. If you have sensitive hearing and don’t sleep well with sound, either plan to bring good ear plugs or find somewhere else. The club music usually goes until 1 or 2 AM, so be prepared.

The location was great, walking distance to all the bars and clubs as well as restaurants. The staff is PHENOMENAL to say the least. Incredibly kind, accommodating, always smiling, and made the place feel really homey. The front desk is super responsive on WhatsApp if you have any questions at all. They really went above and beyond and I can honestly say they’re staff made our stay perfect.

-Showers didn’t get very warm and required a timer to be turned on 15 min before showering, although I didn’t mind as it was pretty hot in tulum and a luke warm shower was enough for me. -Bed is a little stiff but it was a large king size! So that made up for that -The music was loud but I’ve stayed in a different hotel in tulum also next to a beach club and I can honestly say this hotel does a good job soundproofing the room to where is more just muffled if anything. But if your a light sleeper I can see how it may be an issue.
