Orchid Beach House Adults Only

I don't believe you can find a better room in Tulum. This room literally steps out onto the beach, with a palapa and bar right there. The second story terrace has a nice pool for two. You can watch the sunrise from the bed, and the room size is adequate. It is very quiet, and the beach is basically private. The bar and restaurant make excellent food and drink, and will bring it to your room or terrace. Cleaning staff and the front desk do a great job and act very quickly to your needs.

Having some chairs on the terrace would have been terrific to enjoy the view if not in the pool. There is some construction, but that's a good sign. The room being built above and behind ours will have an absolutely gorgeous 360 degree view. The construction workers were very courteous and did not work while we were there. Two bottles of water are provided, and we wished we had a little more at the ready, but water is a precious resource in Tulum. Be prepared to pay for it everywhere else.

We had the best room available, right on the beach. Staff was beyond amazing. From the front desk personnel, to the staff at the bar on the beach, to the cleaning staff (even the guy who waters the trees and rakes out the sand on the path to the beach every morning)...every person working here is top notch, and all they care about is making you happy. I wish I could name them, but I forget names so easily. The 3 people I dealt with at the front desk...one guy and two ladies...were just awesome. More than helpful, attentive, and quick to reply to everything. There were also two beach staff guys...one was a shorter gentleman who brought our coffee and breakfast to our room every morning, and the other was a younger, taller guy with tattoos, who went out of his way to take care of us the entire 10 days we spent there. They all spoke perfect English, which helped us a lot. Over-all, again, we could not have asked for a better place to stay with such great people working there. Oh, and the food was amazing too!

The only thing I can think of that wasn't perfect, was the controls for our private hot tub upstairs. The button for the jets didn't work, but I'm a plumber, so I figured out that the plug just needed to be reset inside the control panel whenever we wanted to use it. And this was not even a big deal at all. It might be, for a non-plumber tho! Otherwise, not even one complaint about anything. Absolutely amazing place to stay.

Such an intimate and beautiful location, the complimentary breakfast made it easy to get our day started with a little something before we'd adventure Tulum. The price is high because this location is prime, as it's on the beach and close to many popular restaurants- BTW, check out Ukami, best restaurant in Tulum beach.

I wish it was more affordable so I could come back every year lol. We split our stay between here and a more affordable option (Jade Tulum) and clearly Orchid was better. It's up to the consumer to decide what amenities they feel they would prefer. I wish I had an opportunity to use the outside plung tub but it was kinda dirty - I used the hammock a bunch tho!

This beautiful boho beach house was amazing! Newly renovated and stylish. The hotel is small which is just what we like and walking distance from other beach clubs that play loud music and have parties. This one is nice and low key. We had an incredible room with a pool. Walking distance to the GoMart and other stores and restaurants. Good parking area. Loved the menu at the restaurant and the continental breakfast which comes with the room. Great housekeeping. Loved the beach sun bed loungers.

The food sometimes arrived cold. Service could be a bit more attentive.

The breakfast was amazing, we had the continental and we ordered stuff from the menu, and everything was absolutely delicious! My wife loved the fresh pineapple juice!! Also our favorite mid day snack was the chips and guacamole, that was amazing and fresh! It was in a great location! Right on the beach, but not to far from town! We loved how the we had an area to relax and hangout by the beach! The cabanas were perfect! Everyone was so helpful, when we would come back from an adventure or just a day at the beach our room was so clean and picked up! They did a great job! We loved the bathtub on the roof & the shower!! It was great to hang out in the bath with an amazing view! Overall we loved staying at My Way! We would definitely go back for another stay!! They were amazing!

Amazing staff, everyone was lovely, reception was very helpful especially the wasapp connection it was great, house keeping were lovely and very professional nothing was too much trouble, guys in the bar were also great and very attentive. Food was excellent and very well priced considering other areas close by were very expensive. We felt very safe and loved every minute. We love tulum Thank you

Not always having hot water, and the shower water wasn't fresh it was salt water. Not a big deal thow

the property was small and quaint, only 7 rooms which was nice because the staff knew us and were very attentive. the service was fantastic, the food was amazing, it was the perfect location and not too pricy for the area.

my only complaint is there was some construction they were doing on the property that was sometimes in the way or loud. but they did their best to mitigate the disturbance.

Our 4th time in Tulum, 1st time at My Way. Very friendly. Clean. Service a bit slow but I am guessing probably due to pandemic shortages and such like we are dealing with everywhere. Food was delicious. This is in the area kind of mid beach strip and more and more keeps getting built. I recommend staying in one of the 4 rooms closer to the beach, quieter. there is a new restaurant across the Street that bumps into the late night. during the day a beach club to the left that bumps til the evening, but its not too bad. We stayed in Cariben, highest rooftop and the bathtub had warm enough water to enjoy! Some say the beds are too firm but we liked it. The room was TINY but the patio balcony and rooftop kind of made up for it. Wifi was so so.

Slow service, but again like I said, I am guessing this is probably because of staffing issues. Faster wifi and bigger room for the price would be good.

The staff was absolutely amazing! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. I liked that each room has a tub or private jacuzzi. With a quick message through WhatsApp you will get all your questions answered by the concierge. Both gentlemen, Cristian and I did not get the other gentleman's name, but they were both very prompt in answering messages with restaurant suggestions, setting up airport shuttles, taxis, sending food/drinks to your room, etc. Super accommodating. Check-out time is at 12 pm, but our airport shuttle was picking us up till 7 pm. My husband and I debated on what we should do to kill time. We decided that it would be the most convenient to pay for an extra night even if we weren't gonna actually sleep there. It was a very hot day and we didn't want to be like nomads in the streets without any plans for the day. The concierge was nice enough to give us a discount on the additional "night" so that took a huge weight off our shoulders. We stayed at the Caribbean suite and on our last "night" we switched over to the Koko suite. Both were awesome! You cannot go wrong with any room you pick. Even the farthest room is close to the beachfront. I would definitely come back to MyWay. The staff outdid themselves. Oh! The food and drinks are amazing as well! Another neat thing I looked forward to everyday was what towel design the cleaning ladies would leave on our bed.

I did not like that the hotel does not have a pool.

The property was cozy and well maintained. Relative to the madness of the rest of Tulum, My Way seems like a quiet oasis. You step in and forget that you’re in a bustling tourist area. The staff were also fantastic. Vincente and Christopher at the front desk were kind and very friendly. They arranged for us to get our Covid test at the hotel itself. also, on the day that we departed, they had prepared some food for us so that we wouldn’t be hungry by the time we reached the airport in Cancun. The cleaning staff were very sweet and made us feel special. Also, the bar and the bartender were great. His cocktails were tasty and strong!!
