Amansala Resort

Great!!!

There are no areas of shade for clients who don’t want full sun daily all day. This is super important and over looked. They needs beds that have umbrellas.

The localization of the hotel (Amansala Beach, also called Amansala Main because there’s another one nearby called Amansala Chica) is great ! Very peaceful, staff was great ! Very friendly ! Also very responsive when you need them (no hot water the 1st day, as soon as the message was sent they came immediately after) Great beach club with a very beautiful pool on the beach

Unfortunately not the fault of the hotel but there’s huge quantities of algae on the beach (sargassum), which smells really bad and really strong Even if the breakfast was really good, it lacks a bit of variety. You can only choose between 3 different plates and 2/3 kinds of fruits and a yogurt. It is still way enough of course, and very good but a bit more choice next time would be welcome. However the extraordinary mood of the staff at the restaurant and bar is priceless, big thanks to them !

loved the wellness / fitness amenities, really enjoyed the beach and the lounge chairs , had a really nice energy of the place ! also the manager was very accommodating and helpful . the room we got was very big and perfect for groups . lots of space for luggage !

the only thing I didn’t like was the mosquitos ! everything else was amazing

The music next door is a big issue. I probably would not come back or refer to friends. You are advertised as a relaxing retreat, with yoga, etc The music ruined what would have been a perfect experience. Your staff and grounds, rooms are fantastic, good delicious, but the music SUCKED

Amansala is the perfect place for solo travelers. The location and the resort are beautiful. The food is amazing. You feel safe all the time. Lots of activities and treatments are offered. I can highly recommend to do one of the retreats. The best part are the people, you clearly can see that they love their job and they do everything to make your stay perfect. I felt immediately at home. It was my first but for sure not my last stay at Amansala.

For some things you can see the signs of time, but you also see that they are constantly working on replacing and improving things.

I loved my stay at Amansala. The room was full of details with big closet space, and great style. I love the deck area to have a meal or a drink. I booked the smallest room and paid a bit more to get a larger room and it was so worth it. Breakfast was big and fresh. Feels really homey yet they take care of your needs like a 5-star resort. I will definitely come back. Loved the location as you are just a few minutes from the happening bars and restaurants but not in the middle of the noisy part of Tulum. They have great massages on site too.

The property and location are top quality for Tulum. Friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Beautifully designed rooms with all Tulum boho beach vibes.

There was a stomach virus going on in the hotel and both my partner and I got it. The hotel was transparent informing us about this when we did the check-in and even though we took all precautions, we still got infected. Though, the hotel staff responded very well. A doctor was available that came up to our room to treat me, as well as we saw laboratory staff taking samples of all foods, water and even the water in the swimming pool to find the root of the problem. I wish I hadn't got sick during my 4 stay vacation, but we were taken care of properly.

I read a lot of reviews before booking here and while I have a few things they can improve on, I really enjoyed being here. I had the beachfront room which is just amazing and well worth it to wake up with a view. The pool bar overlooks the ocean and there are tons of seating options available. There are also yoga classes to join and as a solo traveller lots of lovely other solo travellers to meet at the resort. You communicate with the resort via text message and that came in handy when I fell sick and they brought me medication. highly appreciated.

For the price, it felt like we deserved more. it’s really the little things. there is no bar fridge to keep any water cool. the breakfast is limited and the cocktails aren’t that great. But that said, there are millions of places to go eat. the front desk staff aren’t really helpful but rather communicate via text then.

The room was a lovely one, there are a AC and much space. This hotel has a really cool areas for yoga, workouts, heat training etc! The beach are is wonderful. The pool is nice. Breakfast is good and also the Restaurant! The beach are was wonderful, they had a lot of different opinions for sunbathing.

Drinks in the bar wasn´t our taste, but the food was really nice! The location is good, but you have to walk to get to the main Tulum beach Restaurant-bars-clubs area. But you will find also everything that you need nearby!

The unbelievably friendly atmosphere at reception, the management, restaurant crew, wonderful healers and fantastic trainers. I booked as well common yoga classes as well private sessions for Acroyoga which was an amazing journey. Kun the yoga teacher is not only teaching you trust in your body and what you are capable in doing - he also worked on body mind and soul. Just wonderful - I can highly reccommend Amansala Bikini Boot camp and the wonderful atmosphere - especially in tricky life situations and you travel on your own this is the perfect spot! The location is unbelievable - right at the beach - and I loved this ocean - did I say I loved the ocean? I loved it!!!

Nothing - It was just the perfect place at a perfect time in my life were things were not easy. They uplifted my soul, mind and body.
