Hotel Doralba Inn Chichen

I love the natural pool. Also having 2 pools at the property is wonderful. The rooms are quaint and comfy and the relaxed atmosphere is calming. Location is great for seeing the ruins. And not just Chichen Itza, Ek Balam and some beautiful centoes are nearby as well. Also the hot water is awesome and water pressure is great.

The breakfast is a bit thin and we were not offered juice or water. The service is slow but the people are nice. The pool would be nicer if there wasn't traffic noise. They used to have a lot of trees to block it out and they cut many of them down.

Good location, 5 minutes driving from Chichen Itza (not taking into account the queue to get on the parking). Rooms are decent of size and comfort, good shower with good air circulation (note there are no mosquito nets in the openings in the bathroom). There was no smell of humidity or mould, which we found in many other hotels.

breakfast is included but is basic: ham and scrambled eggs + bread; with tea or coffee. The location is remote (not in village) and close to a busy road, where trucks start to drive from around 5 in the morning. If you want more buzzy area, look for a hotel in Piste, which is also 5 min drive from Chichen Itza

We love the two pools, especially the one that looks like an ancient reef. Its so calming and pretty. We also love the quiet atmosphere and the location being so close to the ruins and to other things we wanted to do while we were there.

The breakfast has gotten very skimpy. There was no juice offered and they used to also have fruit but that is gone too. It is disappointing to have such a barebone breakfast. Also, the waiter seemed overwhelmed and could use more help.

Good location only 5-8 minutes away from Chichén Itzá and directly on front of Cenote Ik-Kil. Clean rooms, beds and facilities, pool available. Intact fly screens, so not even mosquitos or similar in the room. Breakfast included and relatively fair food prices. We stayed just one night, but there was nothing to complain about. The receptionist even took care of our dog for some hours while we visited Chichén Itzá. Helpful people and a good stay, what else you can want!

love the pool. The vibe is nice and the dinner is simple but good. Its a lovely place to stay for anyone who jusr wants to relax. The second pool with the natrual reef is one of the biggest reasons I love to go there.

the breakfast is not that great. There should be fruit usually but there wasnt any this time. I would enjoy it more if they made this part of the stay a bit nicer. Also, they are not always ready for breakfast when they say they are going to be.

Chichen Itza is about 6 minutes drive. Hotel has basic facilities, staff were nice, parking and breakfast included (scrambled eggs, bread, sweet bread and coffee). It's good to stay for a night to visit the ruins first thing in the morning. My 2.5 year old son was with us and he enjoyed playing outside by the pool and sitting on the hammock.

More vegetarian option for restaurant connected to hotel would be nice.

The hotel is lovely, my family loved it. Great location, walking distance to Ik-kil and easy 5 min drive to Chichen-Itza

Staff not very helpful with questions in general. The breakfast lacks of alternatives, even a-la-carte not available, so I could not eat any breakfast as I cannot eat egg and it was the only option. They gave me a piece of bread and coffee.

Staff were great, knowledgeable & helpful, even did our laundry. Natural pool lovely (very natural) as was other pool. Opposite cenote Ik Kil, well worth a visit & near to Chichen Itza. Great value for money.

Despite breakfast starting at 7am we hadn't been served before our transport to chichen itza arrived at 7.30am. Staff apologetic. Be aware it is located at Jedge of green area so creepy crawlies around.

the location is fantastic; close to Chichén Itzá and across the street from a great cenote for swimming (you literally cross the street and enter the cenote park). The staff were all very sweet. Free breakfast of eggs, ham and breads with coffee or tea. Great value! Beds were comfy, bathrooms a bit dated - I kept my flip flops on for a shower because it’s that kind of rustic vibe. Overall, excellent value and great place to stay when touring. It is directly off the main road, so you can hear cats a bit, but it gets very quiet at night after your buses are no longer traveling.

The staff is very helpful especially the front desk and servicer for breakfast. The pool outside was cool. Parking is as free as you can see from the photo. It is located right next to the Ik Kil Cenote which is super convenient.

The road side could be noisy at night. The rooms are actually bungalows with limited furniture. There should be a chair, at least.
