Piedra de Agua Merida

This was my 2nd stay at Piedra del Agua and I'd happily stay here once again. The location is really good in the center of Merida with bars, restaurants and parks on walking distance. The hotel itself is a place of rest and serenity, where you can escape from the busy streets and relax in the marvelous rooms or in the beautiful garden with the refreshing swimingpool. Food options and drinks are great and reasonably priced. The staff is ever so friendly and helpful. Rooms are super clean, have great beds and superb showers with nice honey based soaps and shampoos.

That we had to leave after 3 days

The location in the center is perfect. The staff is very professional and nice. The hotel looks like a charming ancient hacienda.

We chose this hotel partly because of the swimming pool and only used it once as it didn’t seem very clean or well managed, which is surprising given that the rest of the terrace/garden is clean and well kept. I think it’s an improvement that can be achieved easily to male this hotel perfect!

I can’t say enough about this place! The staff is incredibly attentive and kind. The accommodations are beautiful as well as the decor of the hotel. Their restaurant offers delicious options for everyone. I would absolutely return and recommend this beautiful hotel to everyone!

They offer spa services but the masseuse isn’t equipo to do deep tissue which would be fine if you know that going in.

The location is great and the staff were very friendly. it’s a beautiful property.

Mr room at the front of the hotel was very noisy — on a busy street with no sound proofing. The hotel lobby is beautiful— but could be cleaned better.

The room really had a nice smell and a nice big bed. Most of the staff was sweet and kind and the Wi-Fi was really good.

The room is quite small but it is okay for just a few nights. The breakfast was very poor - I would recommend not serving guests breakfast when serving that little.

Perfect central location, beautiful building, high ceilings in rooms, walled garden and wonderfully friendly staff at hotel.

There were areas that didn’t have air conditioning, including bathrooms and main inside area downstairs, that were very humid!

Location could not have been any better. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms are gorgeous. Breakfast great. Just a perfect Oasis to return to each day.

The room was small & dark however the outside made up for it.

location was great, neat older building, back patio are was also nice.

no window in room, just wooden shutters, so when it’s hot, you can either shut them and have no natural light to have on AC, or open shutters and let in heat and humidity.

Great location very close to the main square, very clean, big room with a nice restaurant
