Marina Bay

This is one of the best hotels to stay in when visiting tangier, I visited with my wife and baby, and we were treated exceptionally from the time the booking was made all throughout our stay. We were given a WhatsApp number to speak to Eya for any queries when I made the booking, she was extremely helpful and answered any questions, and booked us a free pickup from the airport. We had a free upgrade and were given a massive room with sea view, and a cot was already prepared for us when we came. The breakfast was the best I have ever seen, buffet with many many delicious items. The cleaners were very good as well, and cleaned the room everyday to a very good standard. And the location and view was just 👌 10/10 stay would definitely recommend!

Not much to put here - it says the hotel is closed on Apple Maps - should be corrected because we didn’t know if this was a genuine hotel or not because of that. We also received a spam message asking for credit card details from the hotel via booking.com which made things more dubious. But once we arrived at the hotel all worries were relieved - this place absolutely exists and is wonderful!

Confortable room, good bed and shower

You'll have to be careful if you decide to pay the room at the hotel because they had a different rate (more expensive, off course) than the one we got from booking. We had to explain it to the staff an in the end, we paid Booking rate....if your distracted, you could end up paying more....

Very lovely staff and very polite. The hotel room was massive and much more comfortable than many hotels we stayed in the past. Shower was nice especially the hand held shower facility. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and very delicious! I loved every option in there. There was water/fruit in the room included and the kettle/fridge was a big bonus. The bed/pillows/tv and everything in the room exceeded our expectations.

The photos advertised show it in such a way that one may mistaken it for like a resort. Its not opposite the beach. The beach is about a 10-15 min walk and the pool is not used on a regular especially in the colder seasons. One of the main reasons for me to choose this hotel was for the pool but it wasn't very well maintained and plants/leaves were dropping from around it.

The hotel is great, quite new and modern and we were upgraded for free to a suite, which was amazing! The suites there have stunning views of the marina so i greatly recommend everyone who can afford it to book their stay in one.

The only downside was that barely anybody spoke English there or at least at the times we approached reception, which for a 4 star hotel that receives international guests was definitely not great. There was only one person at reception who actually spoke English but we were escorted to our room by a girl who spoke in French for the entire time and don’t get me wrong, she was nice and friendly but it was completely unnecessary to be escorted to the room by a staff member who doesn’t speak English.

The location of the hotel being across from the Marina was definitely a bonus, and the reception staff were very helpful.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. I would have expected complimentary water provided in our room, and in particular as we were visiting in the height of the summer season. There were plenty of loungers around the pool, but screaming children diving into the pool and adults smoking was very off-putting.

The hotel is in a great, very central location, opposite the marina, very close to the beach and 10 minutes walk to the medina, port and new town. The hotel gave us an upgrade to a suite which was great, very spacious. The bed was comfy and the shower huge. The hotel in general is bright and airy, it looks like it has been refurbished relatively recently. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave us fruit and cakes on New Year’s Eve. There’s also a good choice for breakfast.

Nothing, it was all great. A couple of things just to be aware of: - the hotel is on the Corniche which is busy most of the time - the pool is open during winter but isn’t heated so not really usable (unless you’re very hardy!)

An amazing experience, the staff was welcoming and always kind. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. And of course, the pool was peaceful and relaxing. The hotel was clean and the artwork was eye-catching. The location is perfect as you can walk along the marina or just a quick 10 min walk to the old medina. We were even lucky enough to be gifted a room upgrade. The views we had was the sea view which was beautiful and the noise was minimal.. unless there was a wedding with beeping cars but who can blame them. Also, the hotel felt very safe, there was always someone at the front entrance to greet you. We would love to come back again and just a big thank you to everyone at Marina Bay Hotel.

I really had the best experience ever in Tanger. The hotel was better than expected. My mother and I visited my brother who lives in Tanger. We booked 2 nights. We decided to stay longer for my mothers 75th birthday so we booked 3 extra nights. We got an amazing upgrade. A room with on of the best views I have ever seen. And believe me. I travel a lot. Breakfast was perfect. Not a a whole lot but everything you need and really fresh. We got pampered ant the table. Everything looked really clean. The hotel is also in a great location. You can walk to everywhere. It is located in the luxury part opposite the beach but in 20 minutes walk you are in the amazing Moroccan Medina. You can have good and cheap breakfast and diner outside the hotel. The personnel in front of the hotel helped me with finding a taxi. Which was also super cheap. I would stay her again. Definitely.

The elevator was smal and a bit slow.

Very good location, nice view, big room.

The staff could be more welcoming. They do just the minimum required, check in and check out and that’s it. No explanation of anything about the hotel or the area on arrival. We had to ask twice for some toiletries. The hotel says it has parking but the reality is that there’s a public parking in front. Crossing to the other side is quite tricky at some hours and the entrance to the parking is not close if one has heavy luggage. The hotel lacks some charm and warm. Rooms have great view but the windows are small and it’s necessary to get close to them to admire the landscape. When we arrived late afternoon there were dirty dishes at the entrance of our room.

Great location, beach front hotel. Close to all center ville and right at the front of the marina. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the front desk representative miloud upgraded our room for free, he got out of his way to got it approved by the manger to give us the suit room. The suit was huge and beautiful, has the best view to the marina and the beach. assistant manager Aya was so sweet and welcoming. . I can’t describe enough how we felt so welcomed and special, really royal treatment. The food is so delicious, big variety. I do recommend this hotel to all my friends and family for sure. And I can’t wait to come back again to this hotel. At my point of view this hotel is the best hotel in tanger.

I really loved everything about this property. It is not thing to dislike.
