Hotel El Djenina

The hotel is situated Very close to the beach. There are nice views and plenty of places to eat along the main road of the beach. The reception staff were happy to suggest some places to dine. There is also a small supermarket 1 minute away from the hotel. And next door is a dry cleaner so you can wash your clothes and get them pressed within a few hours. The service was incredible! I should have asked for his name but I will refer to the “young man” from reception as being extremely helpful when myself and my wife were being quite difficult haha 😅 We asked to change the rooms twice due to some inconveniences and they gladly accommodated us so there was a 5* service, thank you for that.

Absolutely everything: it’s location was close to everything we wanted to see and do; the facilities were clean, hygienic, comfortable; and the staff & front desk were always helpful, informative, and professional.

This was one of our favourite rooms during our travels. We found it just a short walk from the port. We were greeted by two helpful members of staff who spoke great English and checked us in without delay. The room was pristine. Nice balcony and view. The single beds were bigger than expected and extremely comfortable. There was a good sized tv, safe and silent fridge in the room. The bathroom had a good supply of towels and included soap, shampoo and body wash. There were two drinking glasses available. Also a working hair dryer. The communal areas were minimalist and immaculately clean. Check out was simple. We had a pleasant stay.

Traffic noise during the night - cars honking their horns.

The location was excellent and near by a lot of facilities. About a 5 min walk from the beach and plenty of hotels near by. We managed to walk to the market shopping area and it was very easy to navigate and get to. The room was spacious and the staff were accommodating to the rooms, the AC was excellent popped it on when coming in and when returning the room was lovely and cool after a hot day.

Overall, I have no complaints about that place was easy for a one night stay and did what you would expect it to do. Bear in mind when booking this it is up hill so that can be a down side if you have a lot of luggage but was not for us.

Cozy fabulous hotel. We have spent 5 nights,  good location & view, it's about10 minuts walking to the old town as well many of Tangier attractions. Also hotel is surrounding with many cafes & restuarnts just short walk. Reception staff are good qualify and very helpful fast & easy check inn. Rooms are super clean & conforatble room serice is great Highly recommended

I stayed two nights in Tanger. I liked the location. It's a hundred meters from the boardwalk. The staff were friendly. The hotel has an elevator.

The street noise but it is what it is. The hotel is decent and has what I needed, not a fancy place. They don't serve breakfast, although you find some places to eat nearby. Hotel prices in Tanger are a bit higher than in other places in Morocco. Of course, it's a great city!

First of all the staf was really respectfull towards us. It is a really decent hotel and very clean. The cleaning ladies work very thoroughly. The hotel is located really Well. Everything is on walking distance. We had a really good experience overall!

All staff were friendly, location was good in front of the beach and 10 min to the old city also the room was clean they made every day

In the first day they gave me room with moody on the wall but the next day they change it for me and gave me a good room and I saw them fixed the old one so it was a good experience with them to correct and fixed any things wrong immediately

Nice Hotel with helpful staff in a great location for a few days in Tangier . although they didnt have any drinks on site someone ran off down the road when i enquired and came back with some soft drinks. They also organised a good safe taxi at reasonable cost to take me to Chefchouen. overall a good average base with clean rooms close to the centre of tangier and on the waterfront. they have an elevator for people who struggle with stairs

The WIFI wasn't great and its a real shame there was no roof terrace to relax on after a great day wandering through the old medina and the classic cafes of the international area

The hotel's location is perfect with a nice view overlooking some of the sea. I appreciated the pleasant, helpful and friendly staff who welcomed us. The room was comfortable and very clean - clean linen and towels placed every day. Thank you Hotel Djenina!!

Finding parking spaces by the hotel was a bit difficult, so perhaps a private space for guests would have been practical. Most people like to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea first thing in the morning, so an electric kettle/tea/coffee could have been provided.
