Ruby Emma Hotel Amsterdam

I loved almost everything about the place. So modern and trendy. I have never stayed at a hotel so lux. I was very impressed. I enjoyed the tea area directly outside my room (410). Also, there was an ironing board in this area. The location was great too, just a short metro ride into the centre. Amazing views of the trains going by (I like trains).

So, the shower looked amazing, however there was no hot water. I didn't appreciate having to take a lukewarm shower in such a beautiful shower area, this was the biggest letdown to me.

Hotel is very close to the train so convenient for travel into Amsterdam. The rooms were spacious and bright, beds were comfortable Tea and coffee making facilities on each floor Luggage storage facilities

Self check in did not work well The first room we were offered had not been fully cleaned. We were immediately offered another slightly better room

The hotel had a cool vibe. The bar area and the breakfast were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

In room refrigerator did not work and it took two attempts over two days to fix it. The staff provided a free drink to compensate.

The mattress and the pillows were amazing. Really helped us rest after a full day out. The room was very modern with very nice finishes, it didn’t disappoint us, it was pretty much like the pictures. Their shampoo,conditioner, shower gel are very nice, don’t bother bringing your own. The staff was so nice and helpful. It’s very close to the subway, which takes you directly to central station. If you like to walk to the city centre instead, the walk is a very nice one along canals. A relaxed walk could take 50 minutes to the centre, but it has many nice areas along the way. easy to get to/ from the airport, just 3 subway stations to the Zuid station, which has a train that takes you to the airport in under 10 mins and only costs around 4 eur. They were also nice enough at the hotel to keep our luggage after the checkout until late in the afternoon when we had our flight. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel exceeded expectations. It is super modern, it has enough staff. *Room: it is spacious, it has a small closet, hooks, small fridge, TV, desk and USB chargers in case you don't have the adapter from Europe. The bathroom is spectacular, it has a hairdryer and amenities such as soap and shampoo. And everything is super technological, you can handle the lights and curtains from the iPad they have there. *Breakfast: it was not included but on 3 occasions they left sandwiches and bars to takeaway * Staff: easy check in and check out The hotel has the option to store suitcases, it has only been two weeks and it doesn't have the restaurant ready but I knew that. I would come back without hesitation.

It's a bit retired and we already knew it so it wasn't inconvenient, the transport system works perfect and you're 15 minutes away from the tourist by metro, which is a 3-minute walk from the hotel.

Rooms with nice deco, friendly and helpful staff, easy to access location.

Not the best idea to have speakers in every room. I had problems with the room next door, playing loud music at unconventional hours. The staff helped with the issue but even though it’s a nice touch, speakers shouldn't belong in hotel rooms.

Everything is perfect and amazing. Close to the metro. MARSHALL Speakers in the room. Proper sound proof( but not from train, but still ok). Clean and very nicely decorated.

walls close on the outer glass on check out time to make the room totally dark. It feels wrong😶. And the vending machine is not easy to use.

it is a nice and modern Hotel equiped with high digitalization from check-in up to the steering of room equipment

The breakfast was disapointing. No good ratio of costs, quality and selections

the comfort and how clean and modern was amazing. staff lovely and location great. good value for money. would stay here again

The big room, all is controlled remotely, with an iPad, very clean and comfortable, surprinsgly setup for shower/wc, interesting and very chic. Breakfast is also a plus.

Well, there were a few things: - we have established via message a breakfast fee and the response was that the change has been made in the system, but this didn't happen. The staff were like, sorry, but we cannot see anything here, although I've showed the messages on my phone. Ok then, charge us with the normal price. - ar the check-in, a green option was offered to us, for the entire stay, not to change to towels, the bedsheet, no cleaning from the cleaning lady. And we said ok, but when we asked for an extra toilet paper, the cleaning lady refused to give one to us :); - there are no slippers offered; - the soap from the room was almost gone, and as the green option was "activated", no chance to be filled with soap.
