AThe place is totally new, its perfect for couples , for families.. actually the hotel's good for everyone!! The staff is flawless 😍 We had 3 rooms, one of the rooms was with 7 months old baby They provided me a baby crib, helped with everything. The room was WOW !!!! Big enough for couple and a baby. The shower was clean and great, the bed was super comfortable and big. This place is the best choice for you. And its near the Noord metro. 2 stops from Dam Square, we wend outside of Amsterdam and it was easy to navigate.

The breakfast was good but very expensive at 19 euro / person .

Our room ended up been a double even tho our booking .com confirmation was for a queen room, we still pd the same price .

Hotel is in a great location- 2 minute walk to the metro station and only 5 minutes on the metro to the city centre, transport is also so easy and reliable in Amsterdam. As for the actual property, staff were friendly and helpful, the decor was amazing, the room was beyond our expectations- couldn’t have asked for a better room, bed was comfy, it felt like we were living luxury! If I was to come to Amsterdam again I would chose this hotel!

Honestly nothing, it was perfect for us.

The staff was very nice and helpful, going beyond their duty to help us., for instance with extra coffee in our suite and getting the trolley from the Mercure Next door.

We saw our receptionist in private in the supermarket with different hair (very nice and well coiffed dreadlocks) and understood from our family (who know her personally) she has to wear a wig during work because dreadlocks are not deemed 'appropriate'. For an inclusive, modern hotel, we thought this was a disappointing policy. Ridiculous, actually. Please free the hair!!!

The hotel is conveniently located a stone's throw from the Noord station where you can pick the Metro to go to Centraal Station and the city centre. The breakfast had plenty of options and I particularly enjoyed the bread and the pastries. The bed was comfortable and the online checkout process made it very easy for me to leave quickly and be able to catch my flight back home.

There were some details around attention to detail in the room that could've been improved (e.g. there were 2 conditioner bottles in the room but no shampoo) but my cleanliness score is a happy face, anyway. It looks like the previous guests in the room found the safe useful to store their weed safely and the smell in that particular sector (fridge cabinet) was not pleasant.

Very comfortable bed and nicely furnished, modern hotel room. Two minutes walk from the metro station and very regular trains into Amsterdam Centraal. Staff very friendly. Air con very good and could be controlled. Buffet breakfast had an extensive choice of items, both hot and cold and a relaxed restaurant vibe. Expensive, but seems to be par for the course for Amsterdam hotels

Room size was ok, but a bit cosy. Only room for one chair and windows don’t open. Bit of background noise from the road, but not intrusive.

(1) The decor is of a stylish boutique hotel style. (2) The corner room we received was very bright and large. Everything was very clean and the towels were new, fluffy and did not smell like detergent or bleach. (3) The shower gel, shampoo and lotion smelled very good and was gentle to the skin. If only the hotel would sell this as souvenirs :). (4) Mr. Janic (or Yanic?) was extremely polite, very helpful and caring. (5) The hotel is a 3 minutes' walk away from Amsterdam Noord metro station. From this station you can take a 5-minute train ride to reach Amsterdam Centraal. Since it is not directly in the city center, it is a very calm neighborhood, which is what we really liked. (6) Although one can't open the windows, the room was never stuffy. (7) All in all, we have been to countless hotels in the past 10 years and The Tribe is easily in our top three. We strongly recommend it to not only young people but also families with kids.

(1) Our overhead shower did not work and was not fixed during our stay. (2) Some wallpaper near the lift and in the room was peeled off. This is small effort but could create an even better impression of the hotel. (3) All windows in the room were locked, which felt a bit claustrophobic for us sometimes. (4) The bathroom mirror is too high up for a short adult guest like me. I couldn't even see the top of my head in the mirror and had to use the hallway mirror instead.

I chose the location for its convenience and its newness. The Noord Metro station is literally just downstairs. It takes less than 2 mins to walk to the metro station. And from Noord to Centraal station, the ride was around 5 minutes - very easy and convenient. The staff were extremely friendly, more so than the staff at other hotels I have stayed in. The hotel is very new, so if you like modern and new amenities, this is an ideal temporary abode for you. There was an issue during check in. I was given a key to Room 2810 and upon opening the door, I was greeted with a strong nasty smell (like someone had not showered and had not left the room for a long time). The room was pitch dark and I immediately heard a voice asking me to leave. I was shocked and went back to the reception to inform them that the room that was assigned to me was already occupied. Although it was not a pleasant experience, the staff was very apologetic and gave me another room and a free breakfast. My room did not have slippers and when I asked for them, they were provided quickly. The breakfast spread was also impressive.

We stayed at the hotel for about eight days. The hotel is amazing. Everything is clean and tidy, excellent hotel. We asked every day to clean the room and it was always cleaned and arranged. The location of the hotel is excellent, right next to it, a few minutes' walk from a large shopping center with lots of shops for various shopping (clothes, food and groceries). There is a grocery store next to the hotel for buying groceries and next to the hotel is the metro station and the bus station. I will definitely return to this hotel. If it was possible to give 10 stars, there is no doubt that they would get everything. It is highly recommended!!!
