NH Amsterdam Noord

Excellent hotel, attentive staff, great service. We had a great time at this hotel but most important, all of our needs and "demands" were met, from early check-in to helping us print a couple of documents or assisting us in booking an appointment. Can't thank you enough! Despite being located at Noord, this hotel offers free van service to Central Station which is very convenient. The area is mostly residential, but there are a few good restaurants around as well as stores and a big supermarket. A 15 minutes walk will get you to the ferry that will take you to the center of the city.

I would say the bathroom was a lower point but is not bad at all. Perhaps a little dark and it could use more ventilation. The hallways could also be freshened up... but again, nothing that would make your experience less pleasant.

Great staff and location. We were able to get the room with 3 beds that we requested, which was great.

For some reason, our cards kept getting de-activated despite not storing them near tablets, phones, or other credit cards. It was quite annoying by the third time and we had to wait outside the gate for another hotel guest to let us in the lot on the second night. It happened to all 3 people in the room more than once.

The location is out of Amsterdam city centre but the hotel provides a shuttle which is really helpful and handy to use. I actually think this saves a lot of money on transport. We also went to the Keneuhof Garden, which the gathering point for the arranged bus by another company is like 20 mins walk from the hotel. So the location is quite really perfect. The room and bathroom are very spacious. Nothing I didn't like about the stay.

Lady in the lounge area (mini-supermarket + sandwich kiosk) isn't nice, polite or helpful at all. The mini-market is a bit overpriced and there isn't any supermarket nearby the hotel (or as far as I have noticed).

The rooms was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was big and came with a tub! our room came with a walk in closet which was big and spacious. Beds were super comfortable and the mattress was very good. The staff were very professional and helped us with everything we needed. The location is a bit far away from Amsterdam centre, but they provide a free shuttle to Central station between 9am and 11.45pm. So you could use this to save money on taxis or public transport. Breakfast was good and available for a long time on weekends, so you could sleep in until late.

The rooms were very spacious and clean. Coffee/tea was also available. The breakfast could be a bit more elaborate, but the staff of the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. When I asked for an omelet, the lady prepared it immediately and also helped with the coffee machine. The hotel is situated in about 15 min by car from the Central Station. I personally used their shuttle service which was really great I informed the hotel a few days ago that it was my daughter's birthday and also the birthday of a friend traveling with us. The hotel decorated our room very nicely and cake was also there. Thanks again for the extra work and excellent service :)

The check-in time was a bit long, especially as we had a restaurant booked afterwards.

Shuttle was great when leaving the apartment but not so much when returning. On more than one occasion we contacted the hotel for a return collection, gave our ETA but the shuttle left without us.

Good value for the money. Large, comfortable room with nice view. Secured parking at decent price. Free shuttle connecting with Centraal Station.

Exterior and common areas a bit outdated.

Very good location. Easy accessible ferry with the hotel shuttle. Metro station not very far away. Fenced parking place in front of the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel wasn't very crowded at the time of our stay, most of the guest were American flight crew. Although not spectacular, there is a decent choice of restaurants in the neighbourhood. Quiet.

Nothing much. Maybe the hotel bar should have more food choices and beer stock shouldn't get depleted so fast.

Shuttle bus was excellent ,breakfast was very good lots of choices even gluten free crackers which for me was a real bonus. Staff were all very professional and friendly nothing was too much trouble .

No English breakfast tea bags only fruit or peppermint and no milk for the tea but I think that’s just an English thing and certainly didn’t spoil our stay 😆

The reception staff were lovely, very friendly and very helpful couldnt fault them

I think breakfast was a little overpriced for what was on offer
