Excellent location, very modern, clean and comfortable with really helpful friendly staff, who went the extra mile for my daughter's birthday. Thank you! Also the Smith & Co shampoo, conditioner, bodywash & moisturisers are a luxurious touch, they're just Devine! I would highly recommend this hotel to all!

Def 10/10 But a few minor housekeeping errors, such as no milk for morning coffee in room (this was provided when requested), a tea towel & dishcloth would've been handy in kitchen to dry up bench. A small in room toaster would be handy, but this was provided on request. Not any fault of the hotels, but I would recommend they endeavor to separate people with Young children away from other guests (if possible locate them at the end of a hallway away from resting guests), we had a wee brat staying next door who was quite disturbing to others. Of course this could occur at any hotel to be fair.

Very accommodating and lovely staff! From the time we arrived till we checked out. Staff assisted us right away, parked our car and get our luggage straight to our room. Smooth checking in and out too. And upon checking out, they’re too kind to let our car be left behind while we went to the quake city attraction. We’re very pleased. Definitely will be back again.

We liked that they have a laundry facility. But it can only accommodate few people. They only have one each of washing machine and a dryer. And can only be used til the 10 pm. We got our clothes in the morning, but since we need to use the dryer as well we have to wait for 2 hours because hotel staff is also using it. So not sure if it was for guest also. But other than that, our stay was awesome!

The hotel was incredible, far exceeded expectations - The staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. The Spa was relaxing, accommodating and was one of the best facials i have had to date. The car parking was easy and reasonably priced. The attention to detail was the highlight for me. Yoga mats and cleaner in rooms, sanitary products in every bathroom, an alexa in each room, on demand movies for free, a pillow menu - I would highly recommend staying here.

Do not pre book breakfast - there is an option to pre book breakfast for $35 which unfortunately is the only negative i have for this property and it is a shame at it would have otherwise been an amazing stay. However, the breakfast offered is individually priced and as part of buying breakfast as a package you get a drink, one main and a side. unfortunately, doing this you do not spend $35 and needless to say leaves you feeling a little sour that your paying more for a service than you should be.

The room was clean, bright, had a hob and microwave, hair dryer AND straightener, lovely liquid soaps, shampoo, hand and body lotion, laundry powder disc's, a great bathroom with waterfall shower, an Amazon echo Ball with Alexa, a dining table with two chairs! 😀 Just lovely little extras that make it stand out from the standard. Bed and bedding great. Pillows comfy with provision for other types if required. And the food in the restaurant was fabulous. Gourmet fare, that's dinner as well as breakfast! Friendly, courteous, young staff, at reception and restaurant. A nice 10-15 minute stroll takes you into the heart of the city, Cathedral Square, Convention Centre, riverside markets, and a wide range of bars and restaurants.

This is the first time I've given an all 10 plus review, so I'm pretty happy with this hotel, location and price. I needed somewhere close to the town hall as I was accompanying 17–18-year-olds going to a show there while I was able to do other things in the city, and they could walk. The staff were exceptional in being able to accommodate my request of two rooms close together and were able to give me a preview before I sealed the deal. I was able to get separate rooms with a connecting foyer, such a good idea! The rooms were light, airy, modern and clean. The price is what I expect to pay for that. Late check out at 11am was great also. Very impressed and will stay again.

The only downside was I tried to get rooms changed before arriving, but the staff member I was talking to was not able to help me at the time. She was going to get the manager to call me back but that never happened. In light of the stay being so good, and the matter being addressed at the time efficiently, I no longer see this as an issue. However, the staff member should have followed through with what she said she was going to do.

From the moment we arrived at this hotel until the moment we drove away, we were greeted with the most friendly, approachable and accomodating staff. Abishek, Lily and Sam shine as real assets to your hotel and made each day of our 3 night stay really fun and engaging whenever we saw them :) The facilities were fantastic, the beds comfortable and the bathrooms amazing with added touches of a shower aromatherapy scented bomb! This is fantastic and wonderful to help promote relaxation. The parking was easy and affordable and the hotel is within great walking distance to all the major places to see in Christchurch. Definitely great value for money

It was hit during our stay in Christchurch therefore a pedestal fan would have been nice.

Rooms were extremely well appointed and perfect sized for two people. Perfect walking distance to everything in City Center, all restaurants and entertainment. Also extremely easy to get to from the Airport there and back on bus 29. Amenities such as espresso pods and tea, milk and sugar in the room made the morning and evening easy. We also enjoyed the free laundry in the 4th floor and we were able to do a quick load. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and knew how to help us get around and get quickly into our rooms when we arrived early.

Perfect location and easy walk from the centre of the city, The staff are welcoming and cannot do enough for you - it isn't really fair to mention anyone in particular but Kim is just delightful, as is the manager with the two gold lapel badges whose name I have lost! But they are all lovely - I will name check Alexis in the dining room too. The breakfasts are outstanding for a hotel, especially as they are included in the B&B rate. Check the ham hock (eggs benedict), and the cheese scones - the corned beef hash is excellent too, as is the french toast. The hotel looks nothing from the outside but is gold on the inside, most of all because of the staff.

I genuinely can't think of anything to criticise.
