Terra Vive Suites & Apartments

Host was very approachable. Room was comfortable. Bed was comfortable. You could walk to the town centre in about 15 minutes. Had a lovely meal in a nearby pub (The Bealey) recommended by Host.

Shower over very deep tall spa bath. Even with a rail hard for a shorter person like me & tall partner with knee issue to get in to shower. Bottom of bath had a contour which made it easy to loose footing. Very dangerous. Hate to think how much water would be needed to fill this to use as a spa bath. Needed additional towel rails & hooks for clothing in the bathroom.

We stayed 3 separate nights over a 8 days and had 3 different rooms. We really enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable and relaxed in our room. The managers were very helpful and kind and greeted us each time we arrived, taking us to our room and putting the heating and lighting on and bringing in some milk. It was nice to have this when so many places are having to choose contactless check-in. Beds were comfortable but best of all the sofa in each room was super comfy - not always the case. Choosing to stay here was also based on cost and Terra Vive was excellent value. It is not luxurious or brand new accommodation but it is spacious, comfy, clean and great value.

Tight car parking sometimes but we managed ok!

Walking distance to the city centre was a great bonus. Parking on site. Easy check in. Washing machine in room. Good kitchen with everything you need. More than enough for our one night stay.

Although in general the accommodation was quiet with no noise heard from other guests we could hear some very noisy cars (hooning?) during the night.

Good size room with laundry facilities, wak to the city centre in 10 to 15 mins. Close to bus to the Airport. Helpful owner.

Shower made the whole bathroom floor extremely slippy and soaked everything (no curtain or screen). No hob top in kitchenette..Table and chairs to eat at on the patio but not inside.

Amazing location to walk to town. Spa bath was very nice and relaxing and the room was perfect with laundry machines so we could pack a bit lighter. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, they let us check out a bit later on our last day.

The TVs (no netflix, NEON, or other streaming service) and towels (not soft and fluffy) are slightly outdated, but they did the job, everything else was perfect and great.

Location was good. Very close to the CBD. Very lovely to deal with and extremely helpful. Washer and drier in the room is very handy to have. The room was very clean.

Bed was very uncomfortable but that is only my opinion. No air conditioning or fan but there was a heater.

clean and comfortable. easy access. the manager was very kind and let us have early check in, as our plane had been diverted to Chch in the early morning. We were very grateful. the 2 bdr unit was very comfortable and we appreciated the washer and dryer.

Cleanliness of facilities, spacious room with spa bath which was lovely to use after along night at a wedding to relax. Also am a washing machine and dryer which comes in handy with a long stay and of course free wifi to help arrange/view available restaurants, activities in christchurch.

Overall the stay was fantastic, only dislike would of been one of the tenants/guest staying decided park in a space which made it difficult for others to park including myself. Nothing on the owners side just poor choice for the one who parked his big ute in that spot when other parks were available. However moved to a better Park when I got up the next morning.

Brian was so friendly and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was a nice size, was spotlessly clean and having a washing machine and tumble drier in the room was such a plus. The location is awesome!

Easily accessible from the airport, equally easy to walk into the middle of Christchurch. Excellent facilities all in very good condition. Friendly and knowledgeable host. Great cafe 100m away on cnr of Bealey Av and Colombo St.
