Bealey Avenue Motel

Great accommodation! We stayed for 2xnights and the staff cleaned our room daily. The staff is polite, courteous and friendly. We arrived after 8pm at the reception office for our late check-in and the staff waited for us untill we have checked--in to the motel, we are the last check-in guests of the day. Thanks for everything and we have enjoyed our stay.

We checked-in late and left the motel early next day morning for appointments with close friends/relatives but the laundry was locked. Therefore, we are unable to do any laundry outside the spscific hours.

The location was close to the health facilities that we needed to attend.

I don't remember if it was this motel, but on our travels over summer, we stayed at a few places where the coffee plunger was not clean. It appears that cleaners don't know that the plunger comes apart to wash away the trapped coffee grounds. The trapped old coffee grounds can give your morning brew a vegetable like taste, which is less than delightful.

I wasn't expecting much but this accommodation was perfect. First of all it was very clean. Even a spare pillow was fresh and clean. The kitchen was sparkling clean, everything was super comfy, very convenient. It was a pleasure to stay there. Even windows were clean despite that it's close to a busy road. So somebody is making sure glass is clean inside and outside. Well done team. I will stay again!

I asked the man in the reception the night before about breakfast in the morning he said they dont provide breakfast and also he said its disgusting. I walked out confused why he said that and he seemed angry and have no patience to helpful. Communication is rude.

I didn't like the man was in the reception, he was an asian man. He was rude on the fone when I called to find out weather he received my booking. We've made a booking at 10pm and we checked in at 10:30pm and we have to check out at 10am the next day. Not fair. We loved the place and everyone about the room but his service is not great. Not helpful and rude man.

Central location. Was all you could expect from a professionally run motel. Clean, comfortable and everything you could reasonably expect to be there was there. Cleaning staff came in and did a refresh with new towels even though only there for 2 nights.Definitely recommend.

You got what you paid for. The room was functional and comfortable and was good value for the price paid. Nice and central so we could walk into the city centre. Restaurant up the road was fantastic and service station near by to grab any goodies we needed

The shower over the bath. The photos of the room when booking showed a shower. We were travelling with a person who struggled with climbing into the bath to have a shower

Great location, great service and communication by telephone as we were arriving very late after office hours, so made arrangements for us for a late check in. Super clean and nice room.

Carpet in our room really could do with being replaced or stains removed, was not too bad but compared to the quality of the room was a little noticeable, but we were so happy with the room, service and location and the price that we would definitely stay again.

I like the location of the room to the proximity to Christchurch City Centre. There were places close enough to walk to for dinner. The room was clean and comfy. Recommend booking at the Bealey.

The room smelt when we first entered. Not sure if it was the cleaning products used. Once we opened the door for a little while it seemed to disappear. No issues at all with the room other than this.

We were in a family unit for 2 nights. The unit had everything we needed, and we appreciated the room service in-between. The layout is perfect for a family of 3-4.

Yes, it's a noisy location at night with all the bogans, but what do you expect? It's a convenient option if you need to be within arms reach of town.

It's quite not far from bus stop no.29 from Christchurch airport. We paid ticket for 2 just only 4.10 NZ$ then we had reached the bus stop near the motel after that we had walked around 10 minutes from bus stop to the motel.

The map quite not clear to find it. I had to waste the time to find it and I had rather confused.
