Cable Court Motel

Stayed here last night and absolutely loved it. Friendly helpful staff, the room was very clean and had everything i could possibly need. Lovely comfy bed and pillows, and great water pressure in the shower. Was great to get given proper milk on arrival, not the awful uht stuff. Carpark right outside my room was very handy, the the folder with local information was really useful. I fully recommend Cable Court Motel, and would definitely stay here again

Asked if the bedding could be 2 twins as 2 ladies travelling together. Was told that not possible. The actual bed was a king bed with the availability to be split. Wasnt a biggy as was lucky to even get the room. Just would have suited us better. Bathroom wash basin needed to be cleaned around the plug hole as quite grubby. Filter from the electric jug fell out. Did mention this to a cleaner the next morning

It was a whirlwind trip to drop my daughter at her University hall. Our flight was delayed so we were late to check in, and had to leave early before the reception was open. The owners were so lovely and accommodating. The location was great as it was close to our daughter's hall, and the room was everything we needed for our brief stay.

It was O-week so lots of noisy students partying. But, that didn't bother us, as we expected it and managed to sleep through it :)

Everything was 👌 enjoyed our 1 nights stay close to Forsyth Barr Stadium as we were dwn frm Wgtn for six60 it took us abt 20mins (We found walkin back thru the University Campus a better option from The Stadium)is also close to other places of interest.Uni Students Accomodation Area. Owners Lindsay,Allie &Staff were helpful,pleasant and informative of the area.We hve found a place to stay whn we next visit Dunedin..

Very friendly staff, great central location. Immaculate room, nice bedding and furniture (comfy sofa.) Room had a little coffee plunger with high quality plunger coffee and fresh milk supplied. Nice toiletries. Onsite parking, but a short walk into central Dunedin. Corner room well lit with a nice little balcony.

Single glazing means a bit more noise from the road, but this was advised to me in booking description and again at check in.

The room was clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed and more. The team were welcoming and helpful. The motel is within walking distance of the CBD and a variety of food outlets to suit any taste. I would highly recommend this motel.

I can’t suggest anything that would improve our stay, as everything we need was supplied.

Only there one night - could have stayed a week , that nice . Close to all fast foods , watch the alley -seemed to be a race track for delivery vehicles . The fact that they can supply car spaces for all visitors and so close to the main exit on the one way system was a winner .

Bathroom a little dated with signs of mould in the corners but have seen worse .

Very good - hosts were fabulous, helpful and went out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Motel was sufficient for our needs, had a separate bedroom although the bathroom was more like an ensuite as it came off the bedroom. Basic furniture, however, very clean and tidy. Kitchenette was a little on the small side but again, it met our needs nevertheless. Location was right in Dunedin, very close to the supermarkets, university and shops which we found most useful. It was a dog-friendly motel so there were people there with their dogs. This didn't bother us as we are animal lovers anyway so it was nice to see animals around as we had cats waiting at home for us. I would recommend this motel to other dog-friendly people and we would stay there again.

Wonderful, friendly managers, a warm, affordable and comfortable room, and perfectly adequate and convenient for a one night stay for work purposes. The bed was very comfortable. Close to a number of dining options within walking distance.

Whilst clean and comfortable, some aspects of the unit are a bit dated. nothing that would put me off returning again though.

Great fast WiFi, right near the university and within walking distance to the museum and botanic gardens. Room was generally clean, no frills. Bed was reasonably comfortable.

The room we got was next to the road, so it was really noisy as it's on the main thoroughfare across town with cars wheezing by even at night. The shower was terribly hot as the cold water wasn't working well, and there was no way to resolve the issue.
