Pinheiros da Balaia Villas

Great spacious clean apartment. Reception staff very helpful. Food at pool side restaurant was first class and the staff were friendly and great fun. Plenty of sun beds available. Taxi service was fab all week, ordered through reception for our party of 16 !!

The only small issue is that the Villas are a 20min walk from Aldi, the main Strip and the beach. There is a wee shop in reception for bare minimum essentials and a small mini market in a neighbouring complex. Don’t let this put you off as the taxis are great!!

Villa was great continuing most things you needed for a home away from home. Cleaners were fantastic as were the staff in the restaurant/bar.

There is a plastic grid which runs around the pool which becomes brittle after a time in the sun. My foot broke through this gashing my leg and I fell into the pool (fortunately, otherwise I may well have broken my leg, hip or arm). The managers response was that people shouldnt walk on the grids! (The old grids were then replaced however and I was given some alcohol for my wounds!). In hindsight, perhaps I should have sued but I was on holiday and didn't want to ruin it!).

I spent 12 days in the Balaia Villas - originally booked in for 8 nights.. loved it that much we stayed the extra few days. The villa was very spacio us and very clean as cleaners come in everyday rooms are big with a balcony in one room and a terrace in the other. The beds could be a little comfier however other than that zero complaints. The strip was roughly 4 mins in an uber costing 3 euro! Super cheap.. you can access the beach from the strip. Lidl is literally a 10 min walk. The villas are very private and so is the pool area. Staff are honestly the nicest people espically the bar staff!

Nice apartments and surprisingly nice pools with very good service from the staff in the poolside Café. It was also nice that you got the car in the garage just underneath your apartment.

There were some things about the property that would be in need of renovation. The bathtub in our bathroom had a hole in it and some doors didn’t lock so we always had to put the shutters down. But mostly we had a comfortable stay.

The staff are absolutely excellent. Bar/restaurant provides great food and drink and it is well priced. Any issues we had the reception where able to solve immediately. Very private area as well

The walls are very thin so you could be unlucky and get noisy neighbours.

The apartments are huge and clean with good air con and fully functioning kitchen and bbq area, everything you could want. The pool area was clean and you could always get sun beds. The little bar served nice drinks and food which was a reasonable price. The villas are a short 10 min taxi/uber ride away from both the new and old town with loads of lovely shops, bars and restraints. And finally the beach is beautiful and again about 10 mins taxi away. All in all it was a fantastic stay. I have stayed twice now once in a big group of only adults and then second time in a large family group with children and both times it was perfect for our requirements. We will be back to stay again in the future.

Pool, bar and food was excellent. Views from the rooms balcony were lovely. Apartment was very spacious. Excellent location and everything is in reach or just a short taxi ride away.

No dish soap or utensils supplied for washing up the cutlery, we had to buy our own.

Lovley place, great value for money, in a quiet location but only a taxi ride to other places to visit. Pool area was lovley. All staff were helpful and very chatty. Villa was nice and big and had everything in to make our holiday, great air con.

Had few problems on arrival with TV plug and blind shutters but we're fixed once reported. Smell of drains which was on and off.

From start to finish our stay was superb. Pool facilities were ideal, the only thing I would like to see more of were Umbrellas. The staff were polite and courteous and kept the pool area tidy. The food at the restaurant was delicious!

Apartments amazing very clean. Staff so pleasant in reception and in the bar area. Fatima, Daniel and Gerry looked after us very well. Compliments to the chef who served us several evening meals which were delicious. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so good xx
