Topazio Vibe Beach Hotel & Apartments

Even though all the fuzz is a few minutes away, the place is quiet enough to let you have some relaxing time (in fact, there's a disco right across the street, but it's well soundproof, too). The breakfast buffet consists of a wide range of choices, from fruit, yogurt and cereal, passing through the typical continental choices, until at the far right corner, where you can get eggs, bacon, sausage and beans. They even had hash browns one day! Air-conditioning is another positive point, as they have individual machines for each room, so you actually get to decide the temperature you want to set in your room, rather than those that only make you think you have control over the thermostat. Each room has a balcony, where smoking is allowed. High pressure shower offers a good massage on your shoulders after a long day exploring the town and its places. Furniture, bathroom and TV all modern, making you feel in the XXI century.

It was all perfect during my days at the hotel, but if I had to point a negative thing, i would go with the prices at the bar. They were quite strong for Portugal (at least at the time of my staying - SEPT/2022). I mean, charging EUR 5.00 for a 33cl glass of lager (Sagres) is way out of the line for me. I wonder how much a pint would have cost... (but didn't dare to ask, though) Good job they have small refrigerators in the rooms, so I went to Lidl and got some cans of beers (Super Bock) by 56¢ the same 33cl. Apart from this over pricing issue, all I have to say is a big thanks to the great Topazio staff.

The pool view was very nice, room was safe with kids on the first floor. Pool and its surrounding was cleaned and arranged in the morning by staff. Kitchen was well equipped for basic cooking. Tiles on the floor in each room are excellent choice, easy to clean. The shower cabin, wall tiles were first class both material and comfort for the whole family. Room was cleaned on request. The hotel was cosy with a very calm and friendly atmosphere. Hotel staff was wearing mask all the time. The iconic Kiss disco club was not operating due to Covid making the street and the hotel quiet and enjoyable.

The Sofa bed was not comfortable squeaking at every turn, and the pillows were very uncomfortable, especially for kids. Every move from the above apartment was heard, especially pushing the chairs of the dinner table back and forth. Also the upperfloor blacony leaked water nonstop and stained our balcony glass. Lady at the reception was a bit unfirendly and the wifi signal was fluctuating at times poor and weak.

I have stayed at Topazio Hotel quite a few times before, and as always, I couldn't ask for more. A special mention to Cristina at the bar who handles all the swimming pool guests in a timely manner and makes great cocktails. All this with a beautiful smile and such a politeness that has to be qualified as no less than remarkable! Congrats to all the staff, too!

They started a 5€ voucher per night bonus for those who declare they will not require a bed linen changing, but something seems to have gotten lost in translation, as I only received two vouchers, even though I stayed three nights (from Saturday til Tuesday). It is not a big deal, but I think this issue should be better explained, in order to avoid misunderstandings with other guests.

The hotel is very clean, modern and in the perfect location right near the strip and a 10 minute drive to the old town. The staff communicate via WhatsApp and you can ask them for anything you need that way. The pool is well maintained, clean and has a lovely relaxed vibe. The pool bar is great for lunch or snacks until 8pm and breakfast was a buffet style which was also lovely. The rooms had a paid mini bar with wine and complimentary water and coffee machine ready on arrival.

Our rooms were ready when we arrived two hours before the official check out times. The staff were extremely flexible and friendly. There was good communication and response times before I had arrived. The breakfast was simple yet tasty and the vibe of the hotel was very chilled and calm. Close to the strip, but far enough away to be away from the hubbub.

The cleaner didn't really clean the room. I put my sign on the door in the mornings and the same dirty glasses from the bar and the same towels remained on the floor. Only the cushions had been placed on the bed.

We had a great visit! The bed was soooo comfortable i slept like a baby. The room was spacious and the hotel catered for my birthday which was a positive surprise. The hotel is fresh, well located to the strip and about 15 minutes walk to the old town. The hotel may be more suitable for groups of friends celebrating bachelors or couples. It was quite quiet at the hotel, but I can imagine that there is more hustle and bustle during the high season. Over all, we were very happy with the hotel and had the opportunity to check out later

Great hotel and location. Had everything you needed for a short trip away with friends. The pool area was a little small but if you were up earlier enough you could get a sun bed. The food was good value for money and the bar staff were excellent.

The reception staff. Extremely rude with what seemed to be pre conceived opinions on travellers from the UK. We spoke to a few people in the hotel who had similar experiences. The bar staff were excellent though. Very polite & helpful!

Location was great. Very close to 'The strip' just 5-7 mins walking distance. Old town is 25 mins walking distance. Google maps for some reason were not that accurate at times. There were couple of suggested routes. The one along the coast towards old town was more quicker though. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Check out and check in was smooth. Room has private balcony which was nice. Good pressure shower. Breakfast was really good. Lots of variety and staff made sure everything was neat and tidy. Didnt use the pool at all as we were out most of the time but it seemed clean and well kept.

Room was clean no doubt but there was no place to hang clothes in bath room. Nothing to do with staff.

Girl on check in give us a free upgrade.it was wifes birthday on our stay and the hotel left cake and candle in our room. Appartments was clean and had everything you needed,also had an iron and ironing board.

these are only small things tho I think make the difference.. standing mirror in hallway but no socket or light to actually see what your doing while getting ready.. very limited wall sockets. The coffee machine had empty coffee pods left in it from previous guests. 1 other thing was the pool bar staff. Let's just say not very friendly. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
