Luna Miramar Club

The location of the hotel is really good. It's directly behind the supermarket which is ideal if you are self catering. The supermarket has fast food restaurants like Burger King, a coffee shop etc. Directly across the road from the supermarket is a McDonalds. The staff in the hotel are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was cleaned daily and all the corridors and reception area's were clean and tidy. We had a two bedroom apartment, the rooms were big and we had a big open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. A taxi from the old town cost between €3.00-€4.00 so very cheap. It was roughly €4.00 to the new town.

The rooms are a bit dated, so they could do with an update. The kitchen could do with some proper drinking glasses, a bottle opener, a better kettle and much bigger coffee cups! We went near the end of the season (the last week of October) so there were no bar facilities or restaurant facilities open in the hotel. The swimming pool was very cold!

Location was a less than a mile (20 minute walk) to old town and was very nice. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our bedroom was serviced everyday and we booked multiple transfers and activities from reception. The swimming pool is more than decent and in September I found this very chill.

The breakfast. I would recommend avoiding. We booked it originally as we were outside of old town. Its a serviced apartment right beside a big supermarket (Continental) which would have been a better option. There was a sufficient selection of food but it was very basic. If you are looking for pastries you will need to be down for 9:30am. People put towels down on the sun-loungers from 9am so if you want a good spot for the day I’d advise doing the same. One negative was that there was 3 cigarette butts stubbed out on the edge of our balcony which was not cleaned.

Hotel was beautiful. Very modern and clean. Our hotel room had everything we needed. We had a kettle, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, fridge, hob, iron & board, hair dryer & had all complementary toiletries. Our bed was very comfy and was a highlight of our stay. Room had free aircon. Room was massive & balcony was larger than average. We stayed in Room 223 & will be requesting this room again on our next stay as it was perfect. We had a pool view room. Location of the hotel was great. A walk down a hill to the beach but overall central to old town, new town and beaches. Staff were lovely.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. We will be staying here again.

Great location with easy access to the beach and old town. Luna Miramar have lovely staff and a lovely establishment.

Would have been good to have dish soap and sponge/cloth for washing dishes. I only used 2-3 bowls and spoons for my entire stay so to source my own dish soap etc felt like a bit of a waste (especially since they have the rule that if dishes aren’t done it occurs a charge).

Went all inclusive. Breakfast and drinks on offer are great. Lunch and dinner are okay with some random dishes being put on - nothing unexpected from all inclusive! There was a good selection of cold meats/cheese/salads. You can also get snacks (baguettes/hot dogs/pizza) from the pool bar for lunch which we ended up doing most of the time. Pool is great and atmosphere is good. No loud music like other reviews state - just background music. Very relaxed.

Lack of variety in food.

.Nice room when we checked in. Loved the pool. Staff at pool bar couldn't do enough for us.. During our stay all the staff were super friendly and helpful. Location was great 15 min walk to Old Town and about same to Newtown and plenty of shop's clsoe by. Will be back to stay here again soon.

Didn't like the fact that people stayin at hotel went out first thing and stuck towels on sun loungers and disappeared for the day. Very unfair for the rest of us stayin there who didn't leave hotel until after lunch.

Location great - easy to get to Old Town and New Town. Pool very clean. Room large, clean and airy. Food excellent choice. Drinks good. Majority of staff very friendly and helpful.

The pool bar and lobby bar were very quiet. Not really any entertainment (Karoke and dancing for kids one night). Too formal. We stayed all inclusive but ended up spending one night in the Old Town and one night in the New Town - having to pay for drinks to enjoy the entertainment that you would expect on holiday.

Pool was great. Close to supermarket and 10 minute walk to the old town. 15 minute walk to the new town. Taxis 3/4 euro to either new or old town. Very handy location. Rooms were good, cleaned everyday which was great. Staff on reception, very helpful and friendly

No tv in the room and no bar open at the pool - neither a big deal.

The room was a bit dated but clean and bed was really comfy and clean. Good WiFi but weak in bedrooms. It was near to many shops, supermarkets and restaurants as it is nestled in between all the busy and lively areas. 10 - 15 min walk to around 3 beaches which are beautiful.

Some light fixtures did not work. Such a big place so a bit confusing sometimes on where to go. Building works opposite but not their fault and I was out surfing the day so didn't affect me.

The view was excellent, and a very close walk to the beach. Or taking a free shuttle to the beach. The karaoke night was a blast, great staff, Lots of umbrellas and sun for all to share. We also very much appreciated, the excellent rental towels the hotel had to offer.

Our room was a little dirty upon check-in, however we did not bring this to the hotel staffs attention. We just ruled with it. There were other areas that were dirty, and hallways and stairwells. Could use a more thorough clean.
