Beautiful villa. Staff went out of their way to help.

I thought the coastline was beaches, but actually this part of it is cliffs, but can ride or Uber to beaches close by.

The setting over looking the ocean was beautiful. The building itself reminded us of a large villa. very quaint and picturesque.

When we arrived we were told the AC wasn’t working and that there had been problems before. We felt that if this was an ongoing issue it should have been dealt with before the hot summer months. We were provided with a fan but it didn’t really help with the heat in the room especially at night.

It was very quiet.

Nothing to complain about. Just a little remark, coffee capsules in the room were payable…. We are talking about 50 cents capsule…in a 5* property?

Room was very large & well equipped! The bed was huge & very comfortable. Clean bedding & towels everyday. Everything was spotless. Our room was large & located on the first floor. We didn’t officially have a sea view but we could see the sea through the trees from our balcony. The gardens around the hotel were beautiful & well maintained. The staff were courteous and always keen to help. We really enjoyed our stay.

There was no lift up to the room. No evening meal available & there was no bar after 7pm. Apart from one restaurant opposite the hotel a drive was needed to reach other restaurants & bars.

Nice pool . Good views . Large room and bathroom. Well situated for going for long walks. Very friendly staff.

In my opinion this is not a 5 star property, considering that at 6 pm the bar and restaurant closes. You have to go out for dinner . The rooms and bathrooms could be upgraded.

My third time staying in this hotel. Same room also which i was so happy to get again as i requested same room and they delivered! I was so pleased. Loved it! First time here with my mum ( last two times with my husband)so it was very special; perfect to relax and unwind. The two young ladies at reception were exceptional, they were so helpful. The food was superb! The super king bed was definitely the most comfortable we ever slept on. Massages were great! Everything was 10/10+ . We can't wait to come back. Thank you for everything. I will continue to recommend this hotel and talk about it to everyone!

Absolutely nothing. Maybe leaving the hotel to go home. Would have loved an extra night.

Marco, who worked at the pool bar was fantastic. Great service. The breakfast was very good but had not enough choice. The pool area was calm and tidy and not over crowded. The garden and surroundings where pretty and well looked after.

The balcony furniture made out of heavy old iron, and spider webs which should have been cleaned out. The interiors didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel, perhaps a 4 star. The bathroom was pretty good but felt old and the toilet flush panel was loose. The toilet seat felt loose aswell making noises. At one point staff needed to photograph the air conditioning, and my girlfriend was in the shower. They insisted to do it there and then and I think they should have showed some respect for our privacy and waited or come back at another time. Also the wifi was way too bad for a 5 star hotel.

Bath in bathroom was damaged and crudely repaired. The hand towel holder was broken and kept falling to the floor.

We went to Cascais for a 'break'. This hotel was good for that. The rooms were modern and beds comfortable. The pool was a good size and there was room to lounge around it all day. They had food/drinks by the pool. You can take a short walk towards town and find shops and restaurants, we advise doing that. We got wonderful massages. The breakfast is very good and you have a nice view of the ocean. The staff was helpful.

We struggled with the AC in the room, ended up opening the window, but then there were lights shining in my room. I did not sleep well at this hotel, because I was hot. Also, they really should make this an adult only hotel, there were a few "bored" kids. They recommend the restaurant across the street - it was nice and on the ocean, but so so on food choices (just a standard restaurant imo). Better to walk a bit towards down and you'll find bands, restaurants, and shops, a little more casual but more interesting.

Reception staff were impeccably polite and helpful, speaking excellent English. They booked a restaurant table for us at a nearby place but we had a change of plan. They happily cancelled the table for us with the utmost good grace. The bar man (local guy who's name I forget) was v helpful in recommending places to eat in Cascais. Finally the breakfast is probably the best I have had anywhere, certainly the best we had in Portugal.

The weather was horrendous but thats not something the hotel could do much about.
