The service is perfect from A to Z. Excellent location, right by the sea and all the shops and services. Easy to get around on foot. The owner is friendly, helpful, and available with good communication. The place is quiet, there is space but also always a some people around to socialize. It's a good balance. The dorms are comfortable, and you can keep your belongings safe in a locker. There are several spacious toilets and bathrooms available, so you never have to wait. There is a beautiful view from the hostel. The interior decoration is also very pleasant. There is a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook, and 2 fridges available for storing your food. There is a large living room for working or relaxing with an excellent internet connection. It's a good value for money. I highly recommend this hostel 100%.

This is place is in a great location, close to the marina, beach and shops. The hostel is in a beautiful house with really high ceilings, it has a great atmosphere and it feels like home. The kitchen is gorgeous e fully equipped with dishwasher and fridges - easy to store and cook food. It las a large living room with sofas, TV and games - windows facing the marina. On the other side of the house there’s a balcony with a washing line and facing an internal garden with a massive tree - birds leaving in the morning and arriving in the evening were a great company too. Toilets are spacious, clean and with plenty of hangers for clothes and toiletries. Rooms have lockers, bed with sockets, spot lights and a little shelf - my room had a balcony with an extra access to the toilet and kitchen (I felt lucky!). The great atmosphere is created by Luis, the owner - he’s super kind and helpful, a person with a beautiful heart. I ended up booking two extra nights - so hard to leave a great place! Definitely a hostel to come back and to suggest to friends and family! Thank you Luis!

Perfect location, not far away from the bus/train station, the center of the town with all restaurants/shops and the beach. A building with history in it - you see cool old furniture as soon as you enter the front door, then the wooden stairs, high ceilings... seasoned with a story from Luis :) that's what I truly admire! The place is 'alive' and has a great atmosphere so we felt at home there. The living room and bedroom are spacy and have a great view from the windows, the bathrooms are clean, and the kitchen is stuffed with everything you might need. Luis is extremely kind, helpful and an interesting person to talk to. So all in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely come back!

A value for money hostel, an apartment in an old seafront town house, with plenty of bathrooms and decent-sized dormitories. Well-equipped kitchen, lounge, and designated smoking area.

A few minor maintenance issues, but generally in good state. Some control over use of kitchen might be encouraged - it seems that few guests bother to tidy up after themselves and some hog the saucepans with big mixes, leaving only small pans for anyone else to use. I stayed a second night and saw no evidence of a clean up in the kitchen.

Spent one night in the hostel. I accidentally booked the wrong date, but Luis was super helpful and quickly corrected my mistake. Awesome location with windows to the river's mouth, close to the beach and shops/pastelarias/restaurants, right next to the local market. Clean rooms, well equipped kitchen, spatious bathrooms and common spaces. I bought some wine in a nearby grocery shop, drank it on the beach over the sunset, then went to sleep with an amazing smell of sea coming in the window and a big smile on my face. Thanks Luis!

The Hostel is very close to the train station and the beach. It takes a 20 minute walk to the bus and train station and 5-10 minutes to the beach. There are more bus stations right in front of the house which brings you to the other side of the river where we were able to go surfing. Luiz welcomed us very friendly into his hostel. He was always open for a chat and helped us a lot finding the right buses. We even got a discount for the surfing school!

Staff was 10/10. We messed up both the check in and check out times and were treated with nothing but kindness and understanding. They stayed up late for us to check in, and even offered us to extend our stay in some other room when we didn't check out on time Definitely booking again if we ever come back. Can't believe we got this value for our money.

This is one of the best hostels I have been to. Luis, the maneger is so welcoming and nice. The vibe in the hostel is very homie and cozy, everyone knows everyone. The room was big and clean. Location is amazing (10 min from bus station, 5 from ferry, 5 from beach, 2 from main street). I didn't want to leave and will defently come back.

Kind helpful owner, beautiful historical stone building (130 yrs.), wooden stairways, good Central location, near the beach & the city mercado, nice bathroom with bathtub, comfortable queen mattress, large living room, high ceilings, nice kitchen; a wonderful experience.

An opportunity to stay in a charming, traditional building in a great location. I walked from the train station. Bright and homely. Private bathrooms. Slept very well. Great cafe (Skippers) and tapas bar across the road. Many other restaurants nearby. Super value for money.
